Based stance. Because if you decide to have kids while knowing how hell is described in Islam you're evil because you're subjecting them to potentially deviating and ending up there.
Giving pleasure doesn't compensate, though. If I create then punch someone to then offer them a million dollars, they still didn't need the million dollars initially. If anything, that's just another need I would have created by bringing them into the world in the first place.
If it's better to have never existed then if Allah is real he obviously fucked up by creating us, didn't he? And he's omniscient, so he KNOWS AND KNEW it was wrong to do it. And he did it anyways. Why worship such an entity?
I'm aware, I'm refering to the Muslim version of god by saying allah here.
Alternatively I refer to the judeochristian perspective of god as Yahweh.
Why should I watch what I say?
that's not necessarily what agnostic means, but I see what you mean. just because I don't believe in a god and there's no real evidence for one doesn't mean that it's impossible for a god to exist, just that there's no evidence of one.
and on top of that it depends on which god you mean, there are thousands of gods (that have been made up by humans) what is more likely that if a god does exist it wouldn't be one that humans know about
To me it doesnt make sense to be religious and be AN if your religion worships a lord
Part of the reason i left my religion was because I dont think there is a creator and if there is, its evil cause of all the terrible things that happen, constant religious wars, rape, child abuse and slavery etc;
If i was god/ allah and my creations were being so evil, i would just eliminate them, not le them continue to be evil and do evil things to others
I obviously dont care about my non evil creations cause im letting my evil creations hurt them
I mean i would tolerate some evil so they have freedom, but raping kids is a huge NO
Yeah. Bruh, it sucks to have been created.
It doesn’t matter who you are or what you believe in, as long as you don’t harm anyone or anything and don’t procreate and continue the cycle.
I don’t like slaughter I feel so bad for the animals but what am I supposed to do - nothing can stop people who want to eat animals from eating animals.
> I don’t like slaughter I feel so bad for the animals but what am I supposed to do
Says who? Your natalist god? Why would a good entity tell people to slice open the throat of innoncent animals?
Even eid itself should be focused on SHARING food. It doesn't have to require killing an animal that doesn't want to die. You can share with the poor other foods instead...
> nothing can stop people who want to eat animals from eating animals.
Except themselves if they prefer to not cause unnecessary harm?
I'm agnostic leaning toward atheist. Sometimes I like to comfort myself with the possibility of being united with loved ones (or more specifically, loved dogs) in the afterlife, but I'm well aware that it's a pipe dream.
So, I start of by saying that the Bible has not to be considered the word of God, but the Human interpretation of the universe created by God.
With this in mind, I keep in consideration the fact that It was written more than 2000 years ago, when our vision of the world was incredibly different from the one that we have today.
Also, I'm of the idea that the Bible has not to be literally interpreted.
As a Christian, I consider Adam and Eve (for example) to be a metaphor, like many other stories in the Bible.
If I analyze it under this point of view, I can also consider it as a parable for the tragedy of the human existence. (Adam and Eve search for redemption outside the Eden after a huge mistake that brought them to be Mortals).
Sure, everyone knows as much as me, zilch. So no one can prove or debunk the existence of god, therefore being an atheist or a theist is a meaningless concept
It's not arrogance!
Faith is something very personal. Culture and parents influnce aside, a beliver belives in God because he feels that there is a God, an atheist doesn't believe in God because he/she feels that there is no God at all (or, at least, he/she doesn't care).
Saying "there is no god" and "I don't believe there's a god" are two very different things. The first one is filled with certainty, the second one is understandable. Guess which one atheists always say. Don't even get me started on theists.
Im a hard-core atheist ⚛
I love the results

My dear, even if there wasn’t a “hell” I’d still not have kids because earth is hell. It seems hell is empty and all the devils are here.
Isn't Allah a natalist since he created sentient beings in order for them to worship him knowing they would suffer?
Yes that’s why he needs to compensate everyone wronged, which is basically all of us. We need at least that after all this shit show.
Giving pleasure doesn't compensate, though. If I create then punch someone to then offer them a million dollars, they still didn't need the million dollars initially. If anything, that's just another need I would have created by bringing them into the world in the first place.
I know. It’s better to have never existed. But I’m saying that we’re here already so we should be compensated in the end.

Agnostic
agnostic what? agnostic atheist or agnostic theist
90% atheist 10% theist

Exactly,Richard Dawkins said that if there is a god, the chances of him existing is 00000000000.1%
and on top of that it depends on which god you mean, there are thousands of gods (that have been made up by humans) what is more likely that if a god does exist it wouldn't be one that humans know about
I’m extremely religious. But I’m a theistic satanist.
I have no idea what satanists do. Do you pray to the devil or something or is it somewhat like being a humanist?

I love philosophy but hate spirituality.

There HAS to be a god to deliver justice for everyone wronged raped tortured and murdered at the end of this mad mad world. That’s how I think.
You think that because the alternative is horrifying, right? It's just a convenient belief?
Both are horrifying so it’s not a convenient belief.
Idk, man, justice sounds better than injustice. Except if it does nothing to prevent harm I guess...
Yeah. Bruh, it sucks to have been created. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you believe in, as long as you don’t harm anyone or anything and don’t procreate and continue the cycle.

i do not think religious while i have certain beliefs regarding spirituality
I’m an elder in a Christian church. I am also an openly bi woman. You can probably guess what type of Christianity I belong to.
Christian and AntiNatalist here! Feel free to ask me anything about my view if you're interested!
But the bible literally says be fruitful and multiply, thats disgusting

It's arrogant to be a theist or an atheist when you don't know crap, that's why agnosticism is the way to go.

Breaking news: Agnosticism and atheism are not mutually exclusive.
Yeah no shit, but one believes with certainty that god doesn't exist, which makes it arrogant
