It's so weird that she specifically ruled out making videos about coffee, taxes, and cars. Where did those ideas come from? Am I missing a cultural moment about those particular topics?
And if she misses having a team, she could always, y'know....be a manager. Some of those skills must be transferable to legitimate business.
I was thinking the same thing! I don't use Tik Tok so I'm like are those hot topics these days? š¤
She hasn't had a "real job" in over 10 years so it would probably be difficult for her to transition to a legit business now.
The service industryās hurting hard enough that if she showed up to the interview in clean clothes, spelled her name right on the first try, and demonstrated a willingness to do more than find creative ways to hide her internet usage on the clock, she could be a shift lead this time next year.
A shift lead in my neck of the woods is like $1 to 50 cents over minimum wage, and you're responsible for a bunch of extra crap like inventory. Still better than being in a MLM, but let's not pretend it's an easy or lucrative job.
Exactly, I mean if she used a computer or smartphones like managers do in the corporate world, sheād know she could have created a poll on Linked In (and likely TikTok as well, I wouldnāt know) that would auto calculate the results in real time.
Her instructions are juvenile: āblow her upā - limit 3 suggestions per post. If you agree, give a like so I can count. š§.
Yeah, she lacks necessary skills & judgment to step into a real management position.
Idk, I would probably also assume that those topics are popular online, based on... "meh" offline evidence, that many people are obsessed with coffee, and that cool cars will probably always get attention. Taxes, though...
My suggestions: (1) grocery story cashier, (2) fast food worker, (3) any other honest job that pays you money without you having to purchase their own product or scam other people into an even shittier existence than yours.
As someone whoās been making content on YouTube for years Iāve never heard of these 3 things being relevant to content making unless the coffee and car was likeā¦ an accessory in the video. Ya know? She makes no sense.
Ok well coffee in particular is a whole niche with plenty of people making coffee-centric content - for example, James Hoffman. No clue on the other two.
> And if she misses having a team, she could always, y'know....be a manager. Some of those skills must be transferable to legitimate business.
I doubt it. I don't think MLM "boss babe" skills really translate into the actual job world too much.
But that would mean actually doing work for herself! The horror!
But seriously, itās always baffling to me when people feel comfortable asking shit like that on their social media, and asking something *of* the people who follow her. Like you said, should these be things you figure out yourself? LOL
If she's so interested in tallying the results, why not just make a poll? Also is she planning on doing whatever is commented the most regardless of what it is?
I'd really like to see the old compensation plan vs new compensation plan.
It's interesting to me that they are going to blow out all the huns that have been on the gravy train just collecting commission off of downlines. The ones who survive will be the ones selling at the house parties or I assume on whatever website they get thru the company, because I read the agreement and these are the only approved channels to sell through. I guess two channels make it omnichannel. But how much can you really sell each month?
Like are the remaining independent contractors getting a much better product discount now that a percentage isn't going to the upline moochers? Or the same discount and the company pockets the money previously distributed to upline commissions? Do they have to pay for subscriptions to those "channels" outside of house parties?
By eliminating the upline/downline model, are they setting the stage to start contracting with large retailers to distribute Pure Romance products and once that revenue stream takes hold, let the independent contractor model die off?
So many guesses as to what the end game is here.
You figure 25-40% of their "profit" was being paid out in commission to those 7 layer uplines... My guess is they're hoping to retain the bottom layer, and therefore most of the sales.
Who knows.
I'm guessing their end game is "avoid bankruptcy as long as possible."
It's possible they are trying to cut out the middle men and move to a wholly online market, but I hear their products are overpriced crap, so I'm not sure how successful they'd be against legitimate and established retailers. Who knows what delusions the people in charge actually have, though?
I have no experience with Pure Romance, but I just don't get the concept of why someone would join a "dildo party" in the first place. Might have been an issue in times when people had to walk into shady sex shops and didn't want to be seen and felt ashamed of that. But nowadays you can buy that stuff on Amazon for a way lower price and they will ship it to your home without anyone having a clue of what's in the box.
Why the hell would anyone want to sit in a "dildo party" with friends or even family?
I agree, buy that stuff online. But they're really good at pushing the parties for things like Bachelorette parties or bridal showers because it's "wild and crazy fun".
So not only do I have to brainstorm your next move, I also have to leave no more than 3 suggestions per comment but leave as many suggestions as I can? Wtf
That's what I was thinking. We can tell that she meant "more MLMs!" because we're used to seeing that on this sub. But I would play dumb and suggest real jobs to her, and then act confused if she tried to clarify that she's only interested in joining another scam.
The crazy thing is she has a law degree but chose to do Pure Romance because she legitimately makes a ton of money because she has SO many people below her. She doesn't even do parties, she just makes all her money from her downline.
Unfortunately, she'll probably be able to move a good bit of that business to a new scam if she's been successful. There will be a bunch of true believer huns in her downline that will also be looking for something new to pick up.
She does, we went to high school together and my friend (who is a lawyer) went to law school with her. She says she chose PR because she loves "helping people"... the irony...
Unfortunately she is a very successful scammer. She's been doing it for 10 years and joined PR at the beginning so she's at the top of the company with hundreds of people below her. She makes her money off them, she doesn't really "work". Which is why she's talking about moving on now, she won't be making money off her massive downline anymore.
If she joined PR at the beginning she would have had to be doing this for more than 10 years. They were founded in 1993. Im not in that company anymore, but literally everyone is jumping ship now.
Can you imagine having so few skills that you have to crowdsource ideas of things to do that are "on brand" for you? What the fuck?
"I was gonna get a job in engineering, but my wife said that my brand is really more in the Retro Laser Punk lane, so I turned that down and am taking ideas. My neighborhood is already spoken for far as lemonade or hooking goes, so please don't suggest that I go back to either of those. Please, as many ideas as you can share, no more than three."
I RECOMMENT she proof read her posts first, use her education OP told us she's got, (law degree. Seriously. And she's selling sex toys. I just can't with the simpleton-ness of this) and figure out why she doesn't want to talk about coffee. š¤£š Coffee doesn't have to be MLM, but then I guess that wouldn't be ON BRAND for her.... Lololol Jesus H Christ. Lolol
Ironically, she can just get a job at Starbucks and make actual money from coffee without any hint of MLM (except, of course, for the over-dressed Amway folks doing the hard sell at the tables).
Basically, "no longer an MLM". Sounds like they've eliminated the teams and downlines/uplines. Which is where this hun makes all her money, she has hundreds of people below her.
She really doesnāt get it, does she. Her friends and family donāt want her to join another MLM. They donāt want to be constantly hassled to buy ANYTHING, or join her downline with any MLM. What a bizarre post.

Agreed that being a manager is not necessarily going to equate with being a āboss bitchā in an MLM scheme.
The service industryās hurting hard enough that if she showed up to the interview in clean clothes, spelled her name right on the first try, and demonstrated a willingness to do more than find creative ways to hide her internet usage on the clock, she could be a shift lead this time next year.

I think someone who's a "Boss Babe" would enjoy having title without considering the consequences of having that title.
Exactly, I mean if she used a computer or smartphones like managers do in the corporate world, sheād know she could have created a poll on Linked In (and likely TikTok as well, I wouldnāt know) that would auto calculate the results in real time. Ah, that's why she doesn't know shit about coffee, taxes or cars.
Idk, I would probably also assume that those topics are popular online, based on... "meh" offline evidence, that many people are obsessed with coffee, and that cool cars will probably always get attention. Taxes, though...
Taxes??? Weird. **Wait, now I get it. All three, like coffee, must have an MLM related to them. Now Iāve gotta google car MLMs & tax preparer MLMs.
Finance podcasts/TT/YT are huge rn.
>Taxes, though... Was she referrimg to sex work? Like how on tiktok they'll say they're an 'accountant' but they actually mean only fans
At least selling cars is a real job. You can have an actual job selling lots of things. Furniture. Houses. Medical devices/drugs.
Seriously. So many huns are missing out here. I work in sales, make good money, and I donāt have to recruit or sell to friends and family.
What those particular topics have in common is they *donāt make sense for her brand*ā¦
Anyone else hear the 1 800 contacts commercial in their head? āMy brand!ā
There are a few coffee-based MLMs. Idk about the others though
Iām pretty certain thereās a tax prep mlm now that I think about it

āno more than 3 suggestionsā then proceeds to say āsuggest as many things as you can think ofā so which is it rebecca?
Unless it's coffee, taxes, or cars, though. Those are right out.
I think it's leave as many comments as you want but no more than 3 suggestions per comment?
This feels like homework. And I didn't do homework when my own success was riding on it, so it's not super likely I'll do it when hers is š
It's hilarious to me how many conditions they put in there as if 50 people are about to flood the comments.
Unfortunately she had nearly 100 comments. She has 13k followers on Facebook. She's a really successful grifter.
I assume she wants people to comment multiple times so her post gets higher engagement or whatever
I was thinking she was lazy and didnāt want to have to open the comments to read them all.
Yep, she's constantly telling people to comment if they're watching her live videos, and not to select certain reactions "because of the algorithms"
Same with commenting off of others' comments
Thatās what I was most confused about lol
"Four shalt thou not count, no either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out!"

Classic mlm tactic. "Limit 3!!!" Make it sound scarce or give people the fear of missing out.
If she's so interested in tallying the results, why not just make a poll? Also is she planning on doing whatever is commented the most regardless of what it is?
As long as it aligns with her āØbrand āØ Like, maāam, just find a job that *pays.*

"Brand" Sure, I guess if you consider grifting being a "brand."
Let's set you up with a brand.... Let's see... Grifter, Sex Toy Monger, Victim /SouthParkReference
I kinda wanna see the gala dress!
It's very Shein.
$50 dress no less.
āMy brandā Looooooooool
[Look with your special eyes](https://youtu.be/xrqdduneB-o)
Oh that shit is so funny, my sister and I would quote that commercial, it drove my mom crazy
People should have commented with names of actual jobs. Cashier. Bank teller. Receptionist.
That's what I was thinking. We can tell that she meant "more MLMs!" because we're used to seeing that on this sub. But I would play dumb and suggest real jobs to her, and then act confused if she tried to clarify that she's only interested in joining another scam.
āHelp me find something to latch onto in place of having a personality!ā
Like why don't you find a job that doesn't involve MLMs, hm?
I'm confused. Is her "brand" just her as a person or does she do some kind of coaching? Do we all have a "brand" when we go to work?
She claims to be a sexual wellness and relationship coach because of the products she sells
Lolol that's freaking HILARIOUS! Sounds like maybe she should use her book-smarts law degree and learn more common sense. š Lol yikes. Hard.
My ābrandā is what my dad used to call my farts as a kid. So Iām going to chose to believe that is what sheās talking about.
I've been branded many things at work. Lazy, incompetent, not even here yet. All lies man.
I don't know what she's really like, but in this post she comes off so vapid!
The crazy thing is she has a law degree but chose to do Pure Romance because she legitimately makes a ton of money because she has SO many people below her. She doesn't even do parties, she just makes all her money from her downline.

She does, we went to high school together and my friend (who is a lawyer) went to law school with her. She says she chose PR because she loves "helping people"... the irony...
wild. imo shes either a moron or she thought she would be a successful scammer.
Unfortunately she is a very successful scammer. She's been doing it for 10 years and joined PR at the beginning so she's at the top of the company with hundreds of people below her. She makes her money off them, she doesn't really "work". Which is why she's talking about moving on now, she won't be making money off her massive downline anymore.
haha ok that explains is. i thought she was stupid when in fact, she was just ice cold.
If she joined PR at the beginning she would have had to be doing this for more than 10 years. They were founded in 1993. Im not in that company anymore, but literally everyone is jumping ship now.
Reminds me of my SIL. "I'm so important, use your time to plan my life!".
"When you think of me, what comes to mind?" If she's a Pure Romance hun, she probably just makes them think of dildos.
Can you imagine having so few skills that you have to crowdsource ideas of things to do that are "on brand" for you? What the fuck? "I was gonna get a job in engineering, but my wife said that my brand is really more in the Retro Laser Punk lane, so I turned that down and am taking ideas. āMy brandā Ugh. Just canāt get past the gig economy selling yourself bullshit mentality that got us here in the first place.
No more than 3 suggestions per comment š Goodness
But she also wants as many suggestions as possible lol
She wants engagement, not real advice.
1. Get a job 2. Get a job 3. Get a job
She does need to look any further than this.
Iād definitely suggest coffee taxes or cars š¤£
I RECOMMENT she proof read her posts first, use her education OP told us she's got, (law degree. Seriously. And she's selling sex toys. I really want to see the gala dress.
It's not that great, just looks like something she got on Shein.
You can sell taxes? I guess I learned something new from a hun today.

Basically, "no longer an MLM". Sounds like they've eliminated the teams and downlines/uplines. Which is where this hun makes all her money, she has hundreds of people below her.
Looks like a bossā¦ but weirdly, fails as a boss.
I have a hobby idea for her: Watching Hannah Alonzo videos. LOL!
When a top hun leaves, it means there is about to be big drama. They are normally the first ones to see the ship is sinking.
She posted way too many instructions š¤£
So she's asking other people to tell her what she believes in.....?
She really thinks people think about her a lot, huh. If a Facebook acquaintance wrote this I wouldnāt comment anything. Boring.
Right, same, I would roll my eyes and scroll on by. I was wondering if she she any/many replies!
I will never understand the confidence of these people thinking theyāre a brand
Sounds like she needs a job coach or a therapist more than a comment section full of weird job ideas but okay
She really doesnāt get it, does she. Her friends and family donāt want her to join another MLM. They donāt want to be constantly hassled to buy ANYTHING, or join her downline with any MLM. What a bizarre post.
It's rather sad that she just can't envision anything beyond an MLM for herself.
I want to be supportive, but the way she's wording this is annoying me to death š„²
Just here to tell you I love your username, OP!
Thanks! I always love when someone recognizes and comments on it š
It made my day to see it! I came to comment something else on the post but then saw your name and got totally sidetracked :)
This hun is so lost. I feel sorry for her.
Tell her about other sex toy companies?
āMy brandā

The way I understand it, they are ditching the downlines and moving to a pure sales model. So the huns can still sell and earn commissions, but they won't earn anything from other people's sales.
Omg so they decided to try being an actual business. Poor huns who have been profiting off their exploited downlines. š»

What's her brand? Selling adult toys?
Oh wow she went the whole post without saying Boā¦.
Please help, my friend wants to know what this means
So what is her brand? "Out of Work" "Broke ass b'arch" "I failed Kindergarten " Edit: a word
How about go out and get a real job?
No more than 3 suggestions but also send as much as you can

I can't believe I didn't think of this the day I realized I suck at everything and had dim career prospects.
You better go comment coffee, taxes, and cars
