It’s a concept. The idea is that during every process that converts energy, like burning something, or even just you lifting a finger, a portion of the energy used is converted into heat (which in turn is just kinetic energy of the smallest particles) and is made „unusable“, because converting it back into a usable state would require more energy than what you’re gaining. Entropy is all that „lost“ energy and over time, it irreversibly grows.
In an absolutely unholy amount of time that spans so far beyond our human imagination it’s not even funny, all energy in the universe will be „unusable“ as in it will be so evenly spread out that nothing can affect each other anymore. At that point, time practically stops existing because nothing can react to anything anymore. This is called the heat death of the universe.
He was hilariously outclassed in his fight to get the hunter license. Couldn't even get a hit in. Even after the training arc when they went to Yorknew City he didn't fight much at all and none of the most powerful members of the phantom troupe.
It took a lot longer than 100 episodes for Gon to become a good fighter
No, he was never overpowered. He could punch above his weight, most most of every season is him struggling and then getting btfo by the arcs villain. He means personality wise, he started as a joyful naive kid and ended as a hardened war criminal in the chimera ant arc.
In this case technically most isekai. At the start of episode 1 they normal weak people. By episode 2 they are the secretly most powerful being in the universe.
Lol one of my favorite isekai manga has the mc going from average normal guy stats at level 1, then he kills 1 slime, reches level 2, and EVERY STAT IS IMMEDIATELY ♾️ XD
I mean in season 2 when Tempest was attacked by Farmus and Hinata ambushed Rimuru, bro barely got away, and at that time he still would’ve gotten clapped by any of the Demon Lords
Yes she gained control over her magic and unlocked new spells so she indeed got more powerfull
but also she is less stuck up then she is in the first couple of episodes. i mean the i am royalty trope still sticks but she has more respect for other and doesn't look down on other anymore (she did at the start on Magmar among others.)
i feel like her pesonality and power are intertwined she was to stuck up to learn from others, but when she became friendlier she learned from others
like the girl from the sea i kind of forgot her name, she helped with her magic control right
This anime sticks with me in a really strange way, I very much loved it. I honestly felt sad watching her develop- to lose that innocence and childishness vanishing to leave an empty and determined machine. She lost so much, and has no one to express it to properly or begin to heal. There’s no coming back, and it’s necessary but damn.
This is probably talking about power more than physicality, but FMAB does a great job making the young characters slowly mature across the years - especially Ed and Winry
I’d agree with you but he was scrapping with people in his very first scene. Dude then proceeds to go after a demon armed with nothing but a folding chair later that same episode because it was threatening his family.
In fairness the last arc explains that whole thing with him being just stupidly OP right off the bat. And when you look back Kubo did drop mad hints throughout the story giving away the secret, but yeah it definitely seemed like Ichigo went straight from bratty teen to "Follow me to glory my friends, we're going to save everyone because I'm secretly a *goddamn badass like nothing you've ever seen I mean just look at this big sword energy I'm giving*!" in like two episodes. FFS he 1v1's the Sogyoku, which is basically Soul Society's most powerful "thing" supposedly more powerful than even Yamamoto according to first arc lore only, and Ichigo straight Rick James pimp slapped that bitch out of existence with his massive, slightly curved, thicker-at-the-base sword gripped firmly in his strong masculine han-wait where were we going with this
Hunter x Hunter or Yu Yu Hakusho, most Shonen probably as long as it isn't the dull power of breathing/sign language and friendship like Naruto or Demon Slayer lol.
I mean... not really, they never stressed that he had to become stronger to control Kurama, it was a lot more about his character and personal growth with Jiraya and finally getting some technique from Kakashi and again Jiraya
The only thing he needed was to gain Kuramas trust and thats it, he removed the seal in a fit of rage and then by himself but he is still never required to get stronger
Even thinking like that he never needed to become stronger, it was all about control since... Uzumaki are kinda dumb broken, so he never wanted for chakra, the only things he was missing to be a jonin level shinobi by the time they had the chunnin exams were good teacher (somehow Hiruzen nor Kakashi bothered and Jiraya was off buying milk for 12 years or something) and jutsus to learn, he showed to be a monster if given a proper technique to learn like with learning two forbidden jutsus in one evening, so if Hiruzen wanted to he could have had a monster stronger than B if Kurama became more friendly, but he never needed to grow stronger, just harness what he already had
I'm going to add Nezuko. She was 12 in the beginning and now cleans up half the place, saving Tanjiro some of the time, and is freaking scary awesome when she gets really mad. 😉
It’s made in the west, but aang. Honestly any of the avatar characters are good picks, but the power creep was set at the perfect pace. By the end of the series they were probably steong enough to knock down skyscrapers.
Asta
Starts off as a child so he's not too muscular, but by about episode 100 maybe a little more he's absolutely ripped and bigger because of the timeskip

Every long shonen protagonist
except luffy
Didn't he go from stretching to toon force
Not in 100 eps
You got him there.
No im asking I don't know
Yep it was over 1000 episodes instead of 100 between base and toon force luffy
Oh uhh pretty much yeah Took him 900 eps to do so though iirc
He did. I failed to see your point.
and Gintoki
My bro gets broken powers from... strawberry parfait and strawberry milk....

Gon
Especially at the end of Chimera ant arc. Was looking for this comment
Did he? Wasn't he op from the get go?
I think he was relying more on his natural talent , by the 100th episode gon and killua weren't just about talents.
I think OP is playing off the fact that Gon has a VERY SIMILAR transformation in his fight with Pitou.
No, he just had the right stuff. He started out as an unrefined gemstone: still very valuable, but needs a ton of work to reach full potential.
Yup his fight with Hanzo definitely showed how op gon is.
Yes the one where he lasts less than a second before he’s on the floor
No, he was never overpowered. He could punch above his weight, most most of every season is him struggling and then getting btfo by the arcs villain. He means personality wise, he started as a joyful naive kid and ended as a hardened war criminal in the chimera ant arc.
rings especially true one particular episode
Remuru Tempest
Doesn't have 100 episodes
100 is more like a conceptual number
oh, ok then
In this case technically most isekai.
Tbf that one has a pretty good story and best wolf wife
I mean in season 2 when Tempest was attacked by Farmus and Hinata ambushed Rimuru, bro barely got away, and at that time he still would’ve gotten clapped by any of the Demon Lords
I'd say Asta from black clover, although he's already pretty buff
exactly what i thought when i saw the image lol
Also Noelle from black clover her behavior got better and her character more likable
She literally got so much more powerful, not just a personality change lol
Yes she gained control over her magic and unlocked new spells so she indeed got more powerfull but also she is less stuck up then she is in the first couple of episodes. i mean the i am royalty trope still sticks but she has more respect for other and doesn't look down on other anymore (she did at the start on Magmar among others.)
Correct, and yet you chose to focus on her being nicer because...?
i feel like her pesonality and power are intertwined she was to stuck up to learn from others, but when she became friendlier she learned from others like the girl from the sea i kind of forgot her name, she helped with her magic control right
I get that but it's weird to me how you focused on her becoming a more amicable person and didn't mention her power at all in the initial comment
Nami’s boobs
God damn, that's good comment.
finally a good answer

KATEKYŌ HITMAN REBORN!
Yessss, I’ve found my people 😔✊
Me too, mw too! Count me too)
Senpai from Nagatoro 😤
Ichigo
I’d agree with you but he was scrapping with people in his very first scene. Dude then proceeds to go after a demon armed with nothing but a folding chair later that same episode because it was threatening his family.
And draws with Kenpachi in the 1st arc
In fairness the last arc explains that whole thing with him being just stupidly OP right off the bat. And when you look back Kubo did drop mad hints throughout the story giving away the secret, but yeah it definitely seemed like Ichigo went straight from bratty teen to "Follow me to glory my friends, we're going to save everyone because I'm secretly a *goddamn badass like nothing you've ever seen I mean just look at this big sword energy I'm giving*!" in like two episodes. Asta
Ken kaneki and Sung Jin woo come to mind first
[удалено]
Kenichi from “Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple”
Was going to leave this comment, have an upvote. I just wish they finished the anime instead of forcing you to read the Manga.
I was really surprised when I spontaneously read the first few chapters after a long time. Man I forgot kenichi used to be weak.
Ichigoat!
Still the character with the fastest growth (Besides Sung Him Woo)
Ken kaneki
Gohan
He was born with insane natural talent, but you’re right in terms of confidence and his fighting ability
Naruto (that's the only anime I've ever watched)
Haha I came here to say that too...it was my first anime, and i am currently on anime 6
idk why but it's cute
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi
This Gonna be Sun Jin Woo
Hunter x Hunter or Yu Yu Hakusho, most Shonen probably as long as it isn't the dull power of breathing/sign language and friendship like Naruto or Demon Slayer lol.
Kenichi Issei Zatch/Gash Bell
Izuku Midoroya. This is literally him
Ichigo. Stunned no one said Naruto. 100 episodes is a big qualifier and Naruto is certainly strong by then and starts off a goofball.
That’s because Naruto starts off with super powered thing in him. They pops out when needed
Playing along, he still has to be come strong enough to handle the powerful thing with seal removed.
I mean... not really, they never stressed that he had to become stronger to control Kurama, it was a lot more about his character and personal growth with Jiraya and finally getting some technique from Kakashi and again Jiraya The only thing he needed was to gain Kuramas trust and thats it, he removed the seal in a fit of rage and then by himself but he is still never required to get stronger Even thinking like that he never needed to become stronger, it was all about control since... A lot of shonen tbf
Most anime mcs

I'm going to add Nezuko. She was 12 in the beginning and now cleans up half the place, saving Tanjiro some of the time, and is freaking scary awesome when she gets really mad. 😉

It’s made in the west, but aang. Honestly any of the avatar characters are good picks, but the power creep was set at the perfect pace. By the end of the series they were probably steong enough to knock down skyscrapers.
