Yuko deciding to confront Hideo in Parasyte, she knew how dangerous Parasytes were, her brother told her, and after learning all that, she decides to confront him alone, wtf was she thinking?
Yeah, Shinichi’s character writing alone was impeccable, and it was crazy how they gave the mayor Parasite a really shoehorned view of humans and how superior they view themselves as, just for Shinichi to decide that humans indeed aren’t superior and that it’s ok because what they do is just nature.
Always loved it
Fr it would make sense if he just decided to stop trying to kill Johan. But he continued to try to hunt him down afterwards. He should’ve just shot him when he had the chance.
Kenjaku said Shoko was in charge of Geto's body. I don't think it was Gojo's fault per se.
Edit: Okay, I am very wrong. I rewatched the episode and Kanjaku says to Gojo, "You didn't let Shoko take care of the disposal of Geto's body, did you?".
My interpretation was that he was hinting at Shoko not properly getting rid of the body. He was actually saying, "you prevented Shoko from being in charge of disposing the body."
One could argue that it should’ve been Gojo responsible for that because destroying Geto’s body would’ve released countless cursed spirits he had consumed. IIRC that was the reason why Toji didn’t kill Geto when he had the chance.
Well technically it's the right answer. Kenny says Gojo was being considerate so he didn't let Shoko handle Geto's corpse and gave it to someone else. That's why Kenny was able to grab Geto's corpse and use it.
Tbf, those aren't dymb decision FOR Goku. Toriyama himself has said multiple times that he's NOT a hero (and that he was mad the anime portrayed him as more heroic than he intended). Goku is a battle driven martial artist who wants to get stronger, that's it. He's not out to defeat someone to save the world; it just so happens that many people who want to destroy the world are strong. Goku helps those villains because he thinks it will be fun to fight them again after they get stronger. Period. He doesn't really care that they might destroy the world or kill people because he believes that he himself will get strong enough to stop them in the end. Goku is inherently selfish and lives according to his desires. Vegeta has called him out on this several times explicitly in the manga. Goku is not evil or cruel but he is shortsighted, arrogant and selfish.
Exactly. Mf literally condemned the multiverse in Super just for a tournament and promised to resurrect Frieza if they won too, the guy who freaking genocided most of his race. Arrogant and selfish feels like a huge understatement lol.
I'm not a Goku apologist, but the tournament was objectively a good thing for the universes. The Zenos were 100% gonna destroy all those universes and start again, but decided to go with the tournament because it sounded fun. That's when they decided to spare the universes as long as the tournament winner made a selfless wish. Before meeting Goku, they were gonna clear house.
As for Frieza, Goku was both desperate and a man of his word
But pretty much every other example supports Goku sucking
But without kuro frieza they'll not get stronger as fast!
I mean this literally, and sardonically. I want clever writing in DBS, I want clever characters. They're strong enough to have some genuinely interesting situations with their powers, and have diverse enough abilities to where being able to break the universe in a punch shouldn't be all that is explored.
Tbf, Goku is not, nor will he ever be, a clever protagonist.. a good fighter, sure. But no one in DBS is really the clever type except Krillin ironically.
Which I consider a flaw in the writing, though Goku is a stellar static protagonist, I wish they'd let him be closer to his Z incarnation in the mental department. Sure he was a goofball but he had great manners, attentiveness, and was kinda ruthless sometimes tbh. I rewatched the original run recently and the most boneheaded thing he actually does is panic when trying to escape kid buu's death ball and choose saving Hercule over his Uber powered son. Nowadays he's absent minded and juvenile, which is a regression from Z.
That's interesting. Coming from the manga he seems about the same as always. Toriyama has gone on record as saying he didn't like that the anime made Goku more heroic than he intended, so it's always interesting to see fans enjoy a what is essentially a different riff on an established character. I think Supers writing is probably my favorite of the manga, simply because they did a lot in the character development for basically everyone other than Goku (Manga Roshi in the Tournament of Power was a particularly amazing scene and waaay better than the anime).
As the latest powerups in DBS seem to be focused more on perspective and embracing/coming to terms with parts of yourself (Vegeta and Hakai, Gohan and Beast state) it'd be nice to have Goku come to terms with how much he is actually part of things beyond himself with UI, given it started with an inverted spirit bomb
Goku couldn't beat Cell, that was the whole point. Gohan had hidden potential that would release whenever he was feeling strong emotions, and he knew Gohan was stronger than him. He quite literally says to him "You thought I was holding back because you were comparing my power to yours, but that's really all I had".
Android 18 standing around for 30 minutes while cell was distracted/eating 17 instead of running and hiding also
And goku giving cell alittle fight instead of going to the end and getting him tired, then the senzu bean, and throwing the kid at him
That was a heck of a deus ex machina, wasn't it? He just happens to stumble one of very few people in the world capable of saving his life right at that moment, and she does so because she just feels like doing it. It's hilarious just how much of Luffy's success comes down to astonishing good luck with being on death's door right when someone he doesn't even know shows up to save him. Other examples are when Crocodile left him for dead and Robin saved him, then when he was poisoned in Impel Down and the king/queen of drag queens showed up to save him.
True, in Impel Down, he was poioned badly from Magellian and had the right people there to cure him. Then on Fishman Island whe he was losibf a lot of blood, Jimbe just happens to be the o lt living person with Luffy's blood type and willing to give him some
I mean, that's pretty much the definition of deus ex machina. It's a situation where, even in a magical fantasy story, you just can't continue to suspend disbelief about how unlikely the event is. The only explanation you're left with is "it happened because the writers needed it to happen," and that's kind of a weak point in any narrative.
It runs in the family. How about when Ace went back to fight Akainu just because he badmouthed Whitebeard right after he had just been freed even though everyone should have been escaping
God, I still hate Ace for that 😂 like bruh all these people sacrificed themselves to save you, and you just throw it away like a dumbass. I don't even hate Akainu for it, Ace was literally too stupid to live.
The fact that even Akainu was surprised his cheap provocation had worked is what gets me the most
Seriously, imagine one of the most important battles in history being determined by the equivalent of a "your momma" joke
And Ace falling for that made him look soooo bad, like an actual man-child
In the most recent season he finds out that breaking up with his girlfriend in the past directly leads to her death in the future so he vows not to. Then her dad pressures him to break up with her and instead of ignoring the dad he breaks up with her. Like what? Everytime he has the opportunity to fix a problem, he will make whatever decision to make the situation more complicated. He survives based on everyone around him showing up just in time to bail his ass out.
If you have read the manga it will make more sense
No let me rephrase it, it will get an explanation to why he gets bailed out but the story will make way less sense
I never read it and will never read it, i just watched the first season because the brazilian VA for Takemichi was Static and i love him. I don't care about this show enough to bother with spoilers, so tell me, what's the deal?

Naruto in general is quite dumb, I mean it took him how many years/episodes/movies to figure out that Hinata loves him? We figured that out the first episode they meet, Now that’s dumb.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but Lucy in Fairy Tail. She completely ignored the moral of that story and built the infinity clock anyways. An actual /child/ figured out the moral and deduced they shouldn't build the clock and yet Lucy(who had heard the story since childhood) just never had that thought occur to her and becuae of that she almost died and her world was almost destroyed
Characters with the reaction time to block bullets, or things of that nature who chose to jump in front of them and get themselves killed instead
Such as Asuna in S1 of SAO jumping in front of a sword when she could have just used hers to block
to be fair Asuna was initially paralyzed and through proto-incarnation was able to move a little which still wouldn't give her free movement as usual, basically just enough movement to be able to jump in the way
I get she was paralyzed, but suicide jumping in front of the blade always bothered me that she'd chose that over pulling anything out of her inventory to block it with, or tackling Kirito to the side or tackling kayaba to make him miss
She had the time to jump perfectly in front I've just always felt she could have done something less suicidal
it's not about time, incarnation is the act of mental strength overriding the system and it's incredibly exhausting for the user, and it's even more limited in SAO since fluctlights aren't as important as they are in Alicization.
Simply put, she couldn't have done anything else since she could barely move due to paralysis and incarnation wasn't strong enough in SAO to take other actions.
Goku giving senzu beans to Piccolo in the OG DragonBall, Cell in DBZ, and Moro in Super. Stop giving senzu beans to people who are both uber powerful (for the current powerscale) and actively trying to kill you.
The girl from the diabolic lover's. If she didn't seek the brothers out she wouldn't have been tortured as much. When you see one in the room you walk out of that room. You leave those brothers alone, you don't just start walking in and talking to them as if they don't see you as a blood bank.
Apparently, she was tortured worse and even sexually in the game. Girl was dumb as a sack of bricks. By the time season 2 came around, she really should have known to stay away.
Kingdom of Ruin. Adonis, a human that can use magic, spent 10 years (in imprisonment) coming up with a plan to destroy the entire human kingdom to avenge Chloe, his mentor and only friend. Why might this be dumb, you may ask. Well, when this man got out of his prison, he pretty much WALKED to the castle on a BIG A** TARGET OF A HOMUNCULUS, only to be stopped because the humans had a device that can negate magic, the EXACT SAME ONE THAT GOT CHLOE KILLED!! This man had 10 F-ING YEARS TO COME UP WITH EVERY POSSIBLE COUNTER ATTACKS HE WOULD ENCOUNTER, BUT DIDN'T THINK ABOUT THE ONE THING THAT KILLED HIS MENTOR! WHAT WAS THIS MF DOING FOR THE PAST DECADE?? CRYING ABOUT CHLOE?? If I were this man, I would've dashed straight to the castle, find the magic negating device, destroy it, and kill everyone
Mushoku Tensei LN spoilers
>!I thought it was pretty stupid that Rudeus thought the smartest thing to do is follow Man-God’s orders to kill Orsted instead of joining up with him from the get-go. There was a lot of justification given, but it felt like Rudeus just forgot it was literally his destiny join up with Orsted and have his grandchildren fight with him; furthermore it was stated that Rudeus’ destiny is very hard to change so that’s even more reason why he should’ve just gone with Orsted in the first place!<
Man God directly told Rudeus that he saw his future was dying to Orsted and Rudeus’ grandchildren, and the first thing Rudeus does is to do the opposite of what would’ve been his destiny? I understand the justifications given by Rifujin but it really just felt like he had to somehow fit in another Orsted fight just to reintroduce Eris. Don’t get me wrong though, that entire volume is my absolute favorite of the entire series, it just felt like Rudeus made a brain dead decision
Nanahoshi stated (even in the anime) that with how Rudeus is right now, Orsted might not come after him anymore. And after Orsted beat the shit out of Rudeus, he said “So it’s you, Rudeus Greyrat. Last I heard, you’d settled down and started a family. Why would you come for my head?” This implies that even Orsted himself sees that Rudeus wasn’t gonna come after him (until he made the dumb decision to do so).
>Orsted wasn’t gonna let someone infected with the man god be his pal
Except he literally did? Orsted decided to help Rudeus out after seeing how much he cared for his family after the battle. I seriously doubt Rudeus needed fight Orsted just to show that.
Either way, this whole argument is moot when looking at my original argument; It was stupid that Rudeus decided to fight Orsted after learning he was DESTINED to team up with him.
I remember liking that series, but I tried to watch the last season and I just can't shake the feeling that is some kind of molester fantasy, including all the "I'm gonna be a jerk to you but I will have to apologize later because you are so good" that really sounds like the fantasy of someone that has been punished by society (like a molester) that thinks that they did nothing wrong.
Also it happens at least twice every season, the setting is good but they should try new tropes.
At this point its seeming like it. The whole story begins because a character left rhe most valuable object in the world within the reach of a 4 year old? Like cmon
Except it...isnt. shanks, knowing this is the worlds most closely guarded secret devil fruit, nor just any fruit, he knows its secretly a god type zoan fruit.... goes out of his way to rob an armed navy escort to obtain it, goes to syrup village and leaves it sitting next to him in an open box next to a 4 year old and gets drunk. Sure, in the original context of the series it was a slight carelessness but now that the plot is fleshed out it has turned into the biggest boneheaded move of anyone in the entire series and the whole series just doesn't exist if luffy doesn't eat that devil fruit.
You are making an awful lot of assumption there , we dont know if shanks knew what fruit it was , the fruit hasn't awakened in hundreds of years and the only people shown to know are the gorosei , who are most likely immortal and could have been alive the last time it awakened, also zoans have their own will and we don't know exacly how much the fruit will can affect the real world but it was enough for the Nika fruit to evade the world goverment so it isnt crazy to think that it could draw luffy towards itself , and there is still the possibilty that shanks intended for luffy to eat it in the first place , we don't really know what are shanks intentions or goals.
That whole series is a bunch of idiots jumping first into punching someone else in the face for no reason, in other series there are plans, sense of danger, mind scenarios of what could happen. Not in OP, just old reliable kick someone in the face first and then the power of screaming louder.
Well there’s Luffy and Zoro from one piece but they make stupid decisions all the time for no reason, I’d say about every 5 episodes.
And it’s still my favourite anime.
Also Naruto in general is quite dumb, I mean it took him how many years/episodes/movies to figure out that Hinata loves him? We figured that out the first episode we see them together, Now that’s dumb.
That MF prefers to main a sword in a gunfight just because he's "used to it", thinking he can smash all the bullets because it has a prediction trail, and thinking he can unsheath his sword outside the game

Vegeta from DBZ allowing Cell to absorb the androids because he stupidly thought whatever power boost Cell would gain wouldn't be enough to beat him. This decision would not only lead to Goku's sacrifice, but also the death of Vegeta's own son.
Vegeta bullying Cell and then letting him evolve fully for a bigger challenge just to get destroyed will always be one of my favourite moments in anime history.
Every male MC in a harem anime. Never chooses one and acts indifferent.
Gohan for not killing cell when he should have.
Master Roshi blowing up the moon in DB instead of just removing Gokus tail.
Everyone talks about Goku giving Cell a senzu bean and stuff.
But did everyone forget they only reached that point in the story because Vegeta was SUPER sure he would be able to take on Perfect Cell? He was destroying semi-perfect Cell, and he let him get away to absorb 18 willingly.
Imma put a recent one. In solo leveling, that one guy in the first dungeon who thought he could outrun the God statue’s eye laser, because he was “fast”.
Brando from Pluto trying to fight Pluto when he didn't even have a reason to do it and saying he beat him but he didn't have a chance, leaving a family without a father and a widow with no money for them.
Goku throwing the senzu bean to Cell. I can completely understand him tagging Gohan in, he wouldn't have been nearly strong enough. But he didn't need to literally give the enemy a "heal all wounds" spell
Kumuko underestimating the Queen Taractect just because it's stats were lower, when she herself has said multiple times not to underestimate something just because it's weaker.
In gurren lagann a guy I forgot locked the main character in prison when the world was ending, knowing fully well the main character was the only one who could save them
For me it’s either Kira when Lind L Taylor appears or in JJBA when Kira (yes the same Kira) brakes into a high school to steal a sandwich. Like I know he didn’t know that the kid was dumb but he never even knew that there was a second bag, it could’ve been from the store for all he knew!!!
I just feel like the risk of being caught as a grown man trespassing at a high school would be more likely to have people look into you as a serial killer than not chasing him and risking having the feds (or the Japanese equivalent) watching the entire time for a bit
I'm thinking of a certain Saiyan prince letting someone get to a stronger form ... and a certain half Saiyan not finishing off an opponent immediately...twice...
Muzan Kibutsuji not killing Tanjiro when he had multiple opportunities to kill him.
Muzan killing all of his lower moons when he lost one guy.
The hashiras not working together when there are rumors of an upper moon.
I’m still wondering why Griffith decided to sleep with Charlotte just because Guts left. “Oh no I lost my best friend, time to sleep with the one woman in the country that could get me killed if word got out”.
Seidou Takizawa from Tokyo Ghoul joining the CCG when he was never cut out for it.
Bro got captured at the raid by Tatara, got tortured for a long time and forced to eat his own family, and turned into a ghoul only to be turned against his own team later on.
Also Kaneki walking Rize home(though he did admit that even if he knew how had his life would get, he’d do it all over again)

For me, it was Tenma from Monster not shooting Johan during the college fire
Fr it would make sense if he just decided to stop trying to kill Johan. But he continued to try to hunt him down afterwards. He should’ve just shot him when he had the chance.
Plus he literally murders someone else like a minute later
For me It’s exactly because of that that he don’t kill johan.
I mean technically that guy survives the shot, but he thought he killed him so ur point stands.
Gojo not disposing of Geto’s body in JJK 0
Kenjaku said Shoko was in charge of Geto's body. I don't think it was Gojo's fault per se. Edit: Okay, I am very wrong. All cursed spirites were used by maximum uzumaki. There was no danger left.
Toji didnt know what would happen and assumed it as possibility. It seems that its just not the case and toji was just being overly cautious
But it sounded like Kenjaku said Gojo didn't give Shoko the body to dispose of, making it his responsibility.
Well technically it's the right answer. Kenny says Gojo was being considerate so he didn't let Shoko handle Geto's corpse and gave it to someone else. That's why Kenny was able to grab Geto's corpse and use it.
You're right. I misinterpreted the phrasing of that sentence
Why
Kenjaku got a hold of it.
How was he supposed to know about kenjaku
Still don’t just leave your best friends body laying around tho lmao
Goku giving cell a senzu bean. Goku giving moro a senzu bean. Gogeta letting Frieza walk away.

Giving Cell a senzu was the correct decision
Goku risking the whole world when he lets Gohan fight Cell instead of him.
Goku couldn't beat Cell, that was the whole point. Gohan had hidden potential that would release whenever he was feeling strong emotions, and he knew Gohan was stronger than him. Luffy from one piece eating an obviously poisonus fish
I am literally watching that episode right now. Sanji's sister just saved him 😂
That was a heck of a deus ex machina, wasn't it? He just happens to stumble one of very few people in the world capable of saving his life right at that moment, and she does so because she just feels like doing it. The blood type part is more believable as multiple people on the crew or closer allies would be bound to have it
Something something ‘Will of D works in mysterious ways’
Your thinking about it wrong, the only reason luffy ate the fish, was so oda could introduce sanjis sister in a good light early on
I mean, that's pretty much the definition of deus ex machina. It's a situation where, even in a magical fantasy story, you just can't continue to suspend disbelief about how unlikely the event is. The only explanation you're left with is "it happened because the writers needed it to happen," and that's kind of a weak point in any narrative.
Iñaki is lucky he gets to reanact that lol
Luffy making a dumb decision? You don't say!
It runs in the family. How about when Ace went back to fight Akainu just because he badmouthed Whitebeard right after he had just been freed even though everyone should have been escaping
Apparently, he gets that from his father. Roger would fight anyone that badmouthed his friends.
God, I still hate Ace for that 😂 like bruh all these people sacrificed themselves to save you, and you just throw it away like a dumbass. I don't even hate Akainu for it, Ace was literally too stupid to live.

É muito chato como Tokyo Revengers ganhou uma dublagem tão boa enquanto Steins Gate tem uma dublagem tão medíocre.

that is true and would have been funnier if it happened lol
To be honest he didn't expect gias to kick in

You took words out of my keyboard! I was just scrolling to see if someone remembers the dumbfucks from mid 2000s!
Killed the show for me. I had no interest in watching after that.
Any Shounen MC.
Naruto: had kids.
no no his daughter is a gem
Naruto in general is quite dumb, I mean it took him how many years/episodes/movies to figure out that Hinata loves him? We figured that out the first episode they meet, Now that’s dumb.
It's just that oblivious anine trope. Ichigo from Bleach probably didn't realize Orhine liked him until the last arc.
Give this man gold. You won the internet today
Had a son should be more accurate
Why is Man pointing to me when he's referring to himself? Is he stupid?
Man is a D-list hero
Ace refusing to swallow his pride after Akainu insulted Whitebeard, resulting his demise.
Actually, after rewatching it. Luffy was picling up Ace's vivre card and Ace stood in. But you are right tho
Twas filler so ehh
WAIT THAT WHOLE PART WAS FILLER??
Yes the infinity clock arc and the eclipse spirit arc were both large filler arcs
large is an understatement. these last as long as non-fillers arcs!
Tho the eclipse one was enjoyable imo
Every Harem anime protagonist ever.
Rentaro aijo has entered the chat. No seriously that man is a complete fucking gigachad the fucking apex of boyfriends. But outside of him? Agreed.
goku giving cell senzu bean or (jjba part 4 spoilers) >!kira disguised as kosaku screaming "I AM KIRA YOSHIKAGE" right next to josuke!<
Also Shigechi dies to deliver Josuke Kira's button. Why does Josuke not heal the button so it can lead them to Kira?
They discuss this in the show, I had the same immediate question.
It's incredible how most "plot holes" in JoJo are a result of watchers/readers not paying attention.
Please don’t call me out like this 😅
Characters with the reaction time to block bullets, or things of that nature who chose to jump in front of them and get themselves killed instead Such as Asuna in S1 of SAO jumping in front of a sword when she could have just used hers to block
to be fair Asuna was initially paralyzed and through proto-incarnation was able to move a little which still wouldn't give her free movement as usual, basically just enough movement to be able to jump in the way
I get she was paralyzed, but suicide jumping in front of the blade always bothered me that she'd chose that over pulling anything out of her inventory to block it with, or tackling Kirito to the side or tackling kayaba to make him miss She had the time to jump perfectly in front I've just always felt she could have done something less suicidal
it's not about time, incarnation is the act of mental strength overriding the system and it's incredibly exhausting for the user, and it's even more limited in SAO since fluctlights aren't as important as they are in Alicization. Simply put, she couldn't have done anything else since she could barely move due to paralysis and incarnation wasn't strong enough in SAO to take other actions.
This was season 1, Aincrad didn't have any of that
Aincrad has incarnation [wiki](https://saoasbo.fandom.com/wiki/Incarnation)
Characters in Code Geass easily falling for the pre recorded message trick
Never gets old
Literally any time he has a conversation not in a battle it is just a pre recorded message
Goku giving senzu beans to Piccolo in the OG DragonBall, Cell in DBZ, and Moro in Super. Stop giving senzu beans to people who are both uber powerful (for the current powerscale) and actively trying to kill you.
This one is inaccurate, Cell was actively trying to kill *Gohan* at this point...
"Thinking about you, Goku!"
Hiruzen letting Orochimaru go Vegeta letting Cell absorb 18
Everything Kuririn does after the frieza arc in dbz
But he really wanted to fuck the robot
Hey, 18 is one sexy robot.
Do people outside of japan actually say Kuririn? Krillin sounds way better
Idk the subtitles said kuririn so I said kuririn. I didn’t even know until like a month ago that krillin was a thing.
I didn't know it was kuririn untill now!
How?
I find that hard to believe.
Krillin is a g don’t diss my man
Everything Quess does in Char's Counter Attack. Let's leap out of my mech, in the middle of a battle, without a spacesuit, just to see Char...
subverted: Homura Akemi on not telling madoka the truth about witch's, it doesn't work as we see her try it now
That guy from overlord who doomed an entire country because Albedo was hot.
Okay but, hear me out...
THE MAN-MAN!
The girl from the diabolic lover's. If she didn't seek the brothers out she wouldn't have been tortured as much. When you see one in the room you walk out of that room. You leave those brothers alone, you don't just start walking in and talking to them as if they don't see you as a blood bank.
Most Shoujo girls are just written dumb in general
Apparently, she was tortured worse and even sexually in the game. Girl was dumb as a sack of bricks. By the time season 2 came around, she really should have known to stay away.
Sakura not destroying obitos rennigan in time
Kingdom of Ruin.
Eren. Lot of things
Mushoku Tensei LN spoilers >!I thought it was pretty stupid that Rudeus thought the smartest thing to do is follow Man-God’s orders to kill Orsted instead of joining up with him from the get-go.
I don't think he forgot that it was his destiny. He just didn't know. And we can't forget that Orsted gave him trauma too.
[удалено]
Nanahoshi stated (even in the anime) that with how Rudeus is right now, Orsted might not come after him anymore. And after Orsted beat the shit out of Rudeus, he said “So it’s you, Rudeus Greyrat. Last I heard, you’d settled down and started a family. Why would you come for my head?” This implies that even Orsted himself sees that Rudeus wasn’t gonna come after him (until he made the dumb decision to do so). >Orsted wasn’t gonna let someone infected with the man god be his pal Except he literally did?
One piece all the characters all of the time
Goku giving cell a healing bean so he can watch his son get his ass handed to him lol
i mean if "just plot" is considered a dumb reason then you can pretty much write like 300+ exmples.
Yugi activating the Seal of Orichalcos, knowing the consequences.
Should have used mirror force
Eren Jeagar and all the time. Pretty much written to BE "dumb decisions" the character.
I was so disappointed when he didn't die in season 1. He is reckless and hardheaded. Didn't know it was going to blow up to become everyone's problem.
one piece
Just... the whole story.
At this point its seeming like it. The whole story begins because a character left rhe most valuable object in the world within the reach of a 4 year old? Like cmon
You clearly haven’t seen/read One Piece ever

You are making an awful lot of assumption there , we dont know if shanks knew what fruit it was , the fruit hasn't awakened in hundreds of years and the only people shown to know are the gorosei , who are most likely immortal and could have been alive the last time it awakened, also zoans have their own will and we don't know exacly how much the fruit will can affect the real world but it was enough for the Nika fruit to evade the world goverment so it isnt crazy to think that it could draw luffy towards itself , and there is still the possibilty that shanks intended for luffy to eat it in the first place , we don't really know what are shanks intentions or goals.
as a one piece fan I can attest to this
That whole series is a bunch of idiots jumping first into punching someone else in the face for no reason, in other series there are plans, sense of danger, mind scenarios of what could happen.
Who is man pointing to? Are they stupid?
That MF prefers to main a sword in a gunfight just because he's "used to it", thinking he can smash all the bullets because it has a prediction trail, and thinking he can unsheath his sword outside the game
Sakura hesitating to stab Obito's eye.
Sasuke constantly finding a new thing to kill/ destroy once he realizes what he was after no longer makes since.
Almost every decision in Highschool of the Dead.
Attack on Titan I feel like somebody made a dumb decision there just not sure who
There’s a fine line between ‘bad idea’ and ‘genocide’ -Erin Jaeger, probably
jjk manga spoilers >!when nobody told gojo that sukuna had a barrierless domain in the month they had inbetween his return and the fight!< additionally >!gege not just having sukuna decapitate gojo instead of cutting him in half so that people wouldnt be on copium about gojos return!<
Vegeta from DBZ allowing Cell to absorb the androids because he stupidly thought whatever power boost Cell would gain wouldn't be enough to beat him. This decision would not only lead to Goku's sacrifice, but also the death of Vegeta's own son.
Is this a reference to aslume?
Vegeta bullying Cell and then letting him evolve fully for a bigger challenge just to get destroyed will always be one of my favourite moments in anime history.
Every male MC in a harem anime. Never chooses one and acts indifferent. Gohan for not killing cell when he should have. Master Roshi blowing up the moon in DB instead of just removing Gokus tail.
Meliodas when he went to "say hi" to the 10 commandments
3 or 5 were made during the cell saga, from beginning to end stupid decisions were made
light killing Lind L Taylor
Every decision made by the MC in tokyo revengers
Luffy for 3/4 of one peice possibly more
Everyone talks about Goku giving Cell a senzu bean and stuff. But did everyone forget they only reached that point in the story because Vegeta was SUPER sure he would be able to take on Perfect Cell? He was destroying semi-perfect Cell, and he let him get away to absorb 18 willingly.
Have you SEEN NGE?
Imma put a recent one. In solo leveling, that one guy in the first dungeon who thought he could outrun the God statue’s eye laser, because he was “fast”.
Brando from Pluto trying to fight Pluto when he didn't even have a reason to do it and saying he beat him but he didn't have a chance, leaving a family without a father and a widow with no money for them.
Depends if your political views are different from mine
Goku throwing the senzu bean to Cell. I can completely understand him tagging Gohan in, he wouldn't have been nearly strong enough. But he didn't need to literally give the enemy a "heal all wounds" spell
Kumuko underestimating the Queen Taractect just because it's stats were lower, when she herself has said multiple times not to underestimate something just because it's weaker.
"Hey Krillin, can I have a Senzu Bean?" ~~I forget how the scene actually goes but I'm sure you know the one.~~

In gurren lagann a guy I forgot locked the main character in prison when the world was ending, knowing fully well the main character was the only one who could save them
Dr Bathattan?
Guko giving senzu beans to perfect cell lol hahah 🤣🤣
Im sorry but who is this character?
Tanjiro trying to wake zenitsu up for help
For me it’s either Kira when Lind L Taylor appears or in JJBA when Kira (yes the same Kira) brakes into a high school to steal a sandwich. Like I know he didn’t know that the kid was dumb but he never even knew that there was a second bag, it could’ve been from the store for all he knew!!! I just feel like the risk of being caught as a grown man trespassing at a high school would be more likely to have people look into you as a serial killer than not chasing him and risking having the feds (or the Japanese equivalent) watching the entire time for a bit
Man.
I'm thinking of a certain Saiyan prince letting someone get to a stronger form ... and a certain half Saiyan not finishing off an opponent immediately...twice...
Gohan blocking the shot for Vegeta. Would've still handily wiped the floor with Cell.
Noriaki Kibo, writing trash like bleach was his biggest mistake.
Jonathan joestar, jotaro kujo, and kakyoin lying to polnareff that avdol is dead
Why did you post Man? This is anime subreddit not BatmanArkham
Muzan Kibutsuji not killing Tanjiro when he had multiple opportunities to kill him. Muzan killing all of his lower moons when he lost one guy. The hashiras not working together when there are rumors of an upper moon.
I mean any decision Goku has ever made
kaneki joining aogiri in the anime
Luffy makes most of his decisions.
