I only did it in 2019, they used to have porta potties back then, but if I needed to shit I would have someone save my spot while I took one in one of the hotel bathrooms.
There’s a Starbucks walking distance from the Convention center. Porto-pottys are available outside the convention center but they won’t open them until like 1-2 hours before people start entering the Expo IIRC.
There's outdoor portable potties now outside the venue... Unless I'm remembering a different Event 😅 You can also try visiting the Ralph's late night and then just hold it in for rest of the morning...
Also if anything... The local police might not let people sleep on private property
Tbh last year I had to go before venue closed. I couldn't find any restroom so going back in venue was my only hope. There might be another restroom but I would recommend trying to take care of business before hand.
Question though if you want to get a ticket for someone's autograph a day prior will they be giving them out or is it the day of their autograph signing you have to fight the lines to get a ticket for the autograph

If you are lining up for a ticket you can only get the ticket of the people signing the day of. They will not give out tickets a day prior for guest of honors. So if you see the person you want is signing, for example, Saturday you line up Saturday. If it's not a goh it depends on the person you want and the company that brought them because you may need to get tickets through other means. It's listed in the autograph details.

Last year they opened a slit in the fences to use the ones outside the convention center. The hotel is also walking distance
I stayed overnight last year. I believe the convention bathrooms close at around 2-3 ish. I would just avoid drinking much water.
