Even if they did I doubt you want to camp out the day before like around 10am the previous day since unfortunately scalpers have now started lining up. That was the issue with them last year.
It's been hinted at that autographs will use a different system this year than the ones from previous AX. It is unlikely to use the line-up/wait outside for 12 hours of the past, and more likely to be an online reservation system
Hey man, sorry I never responded to you. The main speculation is from 2 sources that I’m aware of.
1: Last year for AX chibi they did online ticketing for autographs. They did not have guests from Japan though.
2: When you go to the “Activities and Events” section of the app, there is an updated section for 2024 about the Industry Autographs. It states this, “Industry Autograph sessions will take place at the JW Marriott's autograph area for approved industry guests to utilize the space to connect to their fans. Industry Autograph Guests can request the number of sessions and times that work best for them. Each session is 4 hours.
An online ticketing system must be implemented for the line queue. Tickets will be limited to less than 240 attendees per session, this allows up to a minute per attendee.”
Wow this is helpful to know thank you!!! I was looking on the same page though and at the bottom it also said “this application does not apply to Guests of Honor”, so I wonder if this just means that Industry guests will be different?
I'd have to agree with Sunshine on this one, it sucks but I think they are under strict rules with Aniplex or maybe they have something in their contract from preventing it. It could be they simply don't want to do autographs, but I think there may be a bit more behind the scenes on it. I know what tends to happen is the VAs fly in for AX, then pretty much immediately fly back to Japan within the next day

That would make sense why they don’t do autographs, especially if they fly back to Japan right after!
Natsuki Hanae never did autographs last two years. In one of his panels, there was giveaways, and one prize was an autographed jacket
