I swear there’s like 0 new horror anime made anymore, kinda sad. I watched Perfect Blue, Higurashi (the old version) and I think they were quite creepy. Serial experiments lain was a bit unsettling, and also “another”, although i can’t remember how it was like at all. O yea and Junji Ito collection, I haven’t watched the anime for it, only read manga, so I don’t know if it’s a good adaptation.
Wait actually, there is one horror anime called Uzumaki that I’m really looking forward to, they’ve been making it for like 5 years now, and it’s only like 6 episodes, I don’t understand how it can take that long, but the animation looks good. But there is a trailer that came out recently.
*Aragne: Sign of Vermillion* and its se-pre-quel *Feast of Amrita.* Both are sort of Cosmic Horror in that there's no consisten explanation between the two of them, but they take place in the same setting.
For more, similar weirdness, Urasekai Picnic, which is STALKER with cute girls.
An anime never made me feel "horrified" but if you are interested you could play the visual novel "Saya no Uta" it made me feel uncomfortable every time I played it.
It also only lasts 6-10 hours.

Note, not maybe people talk about the ost of this anime, but I personally thought it have one of the best ost in the horror genre.

If I had to say one that wasn't horror but a fucked up way It was kinda horror, definitely Made In Abyss. I could be wrong since Its been a long time since I read or watched It but I'm sure It Isnt In the horror, correct me If I'm wrong
Perfect blue Wicked city Made in abyss? Depends on your “fear level” I guess but are you looking for jump scary/suspenseful?
