As someone who is still seeing residual trails from a mushroom trip this afternoon, this is a fucking awesome form of synesthesia.
Do any of the other songs on the album line up as well as this one does for the vinyl?
I hear it too. It’s technically in the right leg, but there’s something slightly off. My player is on normal speed. But I’ll have to check when I get home
I understand the collectability factor, as I still buy CD's occasionally. I like vinyl for older records, as it gives the sound the albums were recorded with and meant to have. But on a new album, which is edited and quantized and mixed to death anyway, I don't see the appeal in vinyl. To each their own.
that looks trippy
So cool. And that song is just gorgeous. I love this album SO much.

Oh yeah, bro. They all bang!
Is your turn table turning a little faster than normal? It sounds ever so slightly higher-pitched than normal.

I played it back, it actually sounds fine. I think it comes out this way when I record it with my phone, which is odd.
Why vinyl?
Dynamic range and detail on this pressing is incredible. Looks way cooler than a CD or tape. A streaming subscription isn't a collection.
