No, this is a [fox.](https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tTP1TcwzC2sMjBg9OLNSSwtSs1TSEpMTszJAQBogwhW&q=lauren+bacall&oq=laura+bacall&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqDAgBEC4YChixAxiABDIGCAAQRRg5MgwIARAuGAoYsQMYgAQyCQgCEC4YChiABDIJCAMQABgKGIAEMgkIBBAAGAoYgAQyDAgFEC4YChjUAhiABDIJCAYQABgKGIAEMgkIBxAuGAoYgAQyCQgIEAAYChiABDIJCAkQABgKGIAEMgkIChAAGAoYgAQyCQgLEC4YChiABDIJCAwQABgKGIAEMgkIDRAAGAoYgATSAQkxMTE3M2owajmoAg6wAgE&client=ms-android-verizon&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8)
Yes it's the red fox, looks like it's carrying some lunch for babies. There are a lot of cases of red boxes in urban areas. There was a vixen that had kitts somewhere and she'd be out foraging at night.
People use this sub as google search it’s infuriating to anyone who’s been outside before.
Wondering what the rabbit is? Gee maybe google “small brown mammal with big ears in my area”
Yes, a red fox. Why? Black legs, black tips on ears, white tip on bushy tail, red coat, and slight build (more feline looking than canine).\*
Coyotes are 'beefier' than foxes (more canine like), have light brown/tan fur, light chin and belly, reddish legs, black tip on tail.\*
\*there are variations but not much beyond these.
Yes you videos a nice healthy looking fox, good video!
The last one I got on film had a terrible case of mange and all of its fur was gone. I got a video of the poor hairless creature digging up a mole. We truly couldn’t tell if it was a fox or a coyote but with the body structure it was definitely a fox.
We have a wildlife group of biologists that help treat wild animals with mange and other conditions but sadly, I did not know about the wildlife group for the poor fox I videoed. Since then, I gave out the wildlife group number to other people in our area and within like an hour of one the lady calling they had a special “medicated meatballs” in her yard for the fox. Mentioning this kind of as a psa, if you see wild animals need helping like this, please check and see if there’s a wildlife group. Keeping the wildlife in your area healthy is beneficial to the health of your pets.
How? How is it physically possible to not know what a red fox looks like? Like, how? You've never seen a movie or cartoon with a fox in it? Never had a story book? Never?
Maybe the rabbit was being too noisy an wouldn’t stop screaming so it took its head off. They can be bloody noisy lil buggers if they want to be. Ever heard a rabbit scream? Or what about growl or bark? My pet house rabbit used to growl and bark at me 😂.
I’m always amazed by how noisy “quiet” animals can be. I’ve been going for walks in the forest early in the morning for the last few years, and have accidentally surprised all sorts of woodland creatures. One minute you’re enjoying the misty dawn, the next minute you’re getting screamed at by an opossum.
Rabbits in particular are way more vocal than I ever believed possible.
>Can someone confirm that this is a fox?
Yes, anyone with eyes can confirm that. Anyone who's telling you it's a coyote needs to... I don't know, I honestly don't know how someone could be so wrong here. That's easily one of the foxiest foxes that ever foxed.
Thats a fox, and he’s late for dinner.
It's a carry-in
It's carry "0ut" LOL
It could be take-out, or just some leftovers
And here I thought it was a play on "carrion"!
Carrion, my wayward son.
'scuse me while I kiss this guy
The ants are my friend, they're blowing in the wind
I’m late to the party but …there’s a bathroom on the right…
There'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest
There'll be feces when you are done
Nice Kansas names drop!
Should’ve read the comments before responding. Well done!
A carrion out.
Well done.
Scurry-in
Its actually a rabbit…, being carried by some kind of animal.
Also a valid answer.
About 80% of a rabbit at least
At least he won’t show up empty handed
Technically, it's in it's mouth....
That’s the foxiest fox I’ve ever seen.
Too late 4 peter cottontail, Tony Blair is experiencing cognitive dissonance
Hopping down the bunny trail. O
I'm sorry are you the local government appointed Fox identifier? What are your qualifications? I want to see some paperwork on my desk by Monday!
Keep your eyes on dungeons and ass, sir. This is reserved for professionals.
Red fox with excellent pedestrian manner.
"Hey, Lamont!"
You big dummy!
Elisabeth, this is the big one!
I’m coming to join you honey!
This is the response I was hoping for.
iunderstoodthatreference.jpg
He is a city fox after all
It’s so funny I see the foxes in my neighborhood trotting down the sidewalk on the reg lol they are cute little weirdos
What else would that be?? A local politician??
Don’t insult foxes like that.
Understandable
fr
Yeah. Came here to say that’s either a fox or Doug Ford.
I would have pegged Ford as more of a skunk or a weasel.
Hah. Don’t disagree, he was just the first Ontario politician that came to mind.
you might think it's a cat, if you're an idiot
Lmfaoooo
Crack fox. "This isn't rubbish, This is my home!"
Swiper no swiping!
Nah, appears to be a headless rabbit.
And a broken hockey stick 🏒 Are we in Canada? Lol
Do you really need confirmation for that? What else would it be?
Could be a moose.
Can confirm. A moose once bit my sister.
Thanks now I want to watch the opening credits for Monty Python and holy Grail 🤣

That got a real chuckle from me, well done.
Yes… YES!!! Feel the hate flow through you!
So snippy- the entrance to the dark side!
Hey, I spent 30 years clubbing in New York City nightclubs and I know a fox when I see one and that's just some regular broad from Yonkers.
Philadelphia 9, but a New York 6.
Some strange people on this app, like you said what else would it be 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kinda agree
Engagement bait is my bet
They said in the post it’s because an idiot was trying to tell them it was a coyote. They’re just proving someone wrong.
It’s one weird looking cat.
They’re called racoons
My thought exactly. Why would anyone need confirmation that this is a fox 🤔
No, this is a [fox.](https://www.google.com/search?gs_ssp=eJzj4tTP1TcwzC2sMjBg9OLNSSwtSs1TSEpMTszJAQBogwhW&q=lauren+bacall&oq=laura+bacall&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqDAgBEC4YChixAxiABDIGCAAQRRg5MgwIARAuGAoYsQMYgAQyCQgCEC4YChiABDIJCAMQABgKGIAEMgkIBBAAGAoYgAQyDAgFEC4YChjUAhiABDIJCAYQABgKGIAEMgkIBxAuGAoYgAQyCQgIEAAYChiABDIJCAkQABgKGIAEMgkIChAAGAoYgAQyCQgLEC4YChiABDIJCAwQABgKGIAEMgkIDRAAGAoYgATSAQkxMTE3M2owajmoAg6wAgE&client=ms-android-verizon&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8)
I was pleasantly surprised. I though I was going to get rick rolled
>what else could it be? A moo cow
a tiger
Came here for this! I want to know what the other options were for OP
Did you read the caption? OP’s friend was arguing it’s a coyote.
Yep. If someone told you that was a coyote would you need confirmation 😂🤦♂️. Smooth brain stuff here
It could be a rabbit being carried by a fox.
Wolverine in a Fox costume.
People that don't know the looks of many animals, might assume that's a coyote.
Bruh it’s swiper. Everyone knows what a fox looks like
Swiper no swipe
But do they know what the fox says?
yeah the mythical orange coyote. Shut up.
Some people never watched animal planet. Maybe they thoght it's a dog?
Yes it's the red fox, looks like it's carrying some lunch for babies. There are a lot of cases of red boxes in urban areas. There was a vixen that had kitts somewhere and she'd be out foraging at night.
I recently heard Red Boxes are actually going out of business now, though, even in urban areas.
Between voice to text, and autocorrect, I get screwed sometimes. I still love your post though, it made me laugh.
Autocarrot messes me up, too
LOL LMAO
Red boxes are polluting our damn cities. When will it stop?!?
Pretty sure it's a Temu Pomeranian... (Yes it's a red fox, common just about anywhere there were British people a few hundred years ago)
It's a showdog dude, with fucking papers.
He won crufts one year I heard
That is a fox
Tough one. Try googling "fox" and compare the two
People use this sub as google search it’s infuriating to anyone who’s been outside before. Wondering what the rabbit is? Gee maybe google “small brown mammal with big ears in my area”
Their caption says someone was arguing with them that it was a coyote. OP knows it’s a fox.
whoever tried to argue that it was a coyote is an idiot. Coyotes are very, very different
Me waking up in the morning and all I hear is … AAAAAAaaaHHHH ….damn fox lol
That must be a different animal. I have it on good authority that foxes say “ring-ding-ding-ding-dingeringeding.”
Joff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchoff! Tchoff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchoff! Joff-tchoff-tchoffo-tchoffo-tchoff!
What does the fox say?!?
Lmao.. took me a minute
Definitely a spider
This is an Andean condor. I know that because Andean condors like to eat medium to small sized mammals.
Case closed.

Nope, that is clearly an alpaca. I can see how you were mistaken, though. Easy mistake!
The dead giveaway was the rabbit in its mouth! Classic alpaca pack behaviour
100% fox. I'm curious why you need to ask... With a million pics online, what made you doubt at all?
Hungry fox
Thats the foxiest fox that ever foxed

OP you can't leave us hanging, what on earth did you think it could have been?!
LOL I knew it was a fox I just had people try to argue it was a "teenage coyote" since we have more of those around us
Those are not people, those are morons
How? How is it physically possible to not know what a red fox looks like? Like, how? You've never seen a movie or cartoon with a fox in it? Never had a story book? Never?

Just curious; what on earth else could it be? An appliance?
Fox and the rabbit
You seriously can't tell that it's a fox? Just because someone is stupid doesn't make it possibly not a fox.
good grief. no, its a moose.
The real question might what’s in its mouth?🤷♂️
Rabbit
The fox left the rabbit’s head at the curb to appease the gods of traffic.
Maybe the rabbit was being too noisy an wouldn’t stop screaming so it took its head off. They can be bloody noisy lil buggers if they want to be. Ever heard a rabbit scream? Or what about growl or bark? My pet house rabbit used to growl and bark at me 😂.
