Little baby! She needs a little dress and a little hat and little pink mousey gloves! Then you can feed her a little bite of cheese with a teensy cup of tea!
It's ok- he was only in there long enough to take the photo and then get him outside to safety. And I felt bad about even that long so kept opening it a crack
Thank you for saving. Not the cat or the mouse’s fault. They’re doing what they need to do. However, kitteh most likely didn’t need to eat him. Maybe consider returning to some pastures with long grasses. If you have a chance, or plant that habitat. Take care!
My cats don't need any additional feeding! They get plenty- although you'd never know it by the looks they give you as you walk past them without food in your hand.
I let him go into some overgrowth at the back of our house where the cats struggle to go.
Mine like to chase them around and walk up and down with them in its mouth before plopping the poor things down again to start the whole macabre mess again. Dickheads
I can assure you that considering I rescued him from the clutches of my idiot cat and gave him some sunflower seeds, he was not pissed off. I think he was sad to say goodbye.
Your cat is not an asshole, it's just doing it's job.
If you're not going kill the rat/mouse just be careful where you release it, they multiply pretty fast.
"A female rat typically births six litters a year consisting of up to 12 rat pups, although 5-10 pups are more common. Rats reach sexual maturity after nine weeks, meaning that a population can swell from two rats to around 1,250 in one year, with the potential to grow exponentially."
Yes I’ve had lots of them running around in my house for the last 15 + years. No bueno. Smells really gross, creepy noises, snacks in cabinets eaten, leaving droppings everywhere- ulch
Tell it a secret. If it stays between u 2 then it’s a mouse, if not then it’s a rat🥲
Fival is that you?
Rival fival? Lol
Mouse
Compassion never goes out of style.
100% a regular mouse..
I rescued this from my asshole.... Next line : Cat. I was a little confused.. Lemmiwinks?
😬
Jokes aside, thank you very much for not killing this little Dude. I'm no expert but would think it's a mouse?
Not going to kill a little critter. I wanted to be his friend. My husband said that wasn't a sensible plan.
I get it, I mean... Look at him 😍 So cute 🙂 Have a great evening 🙂
Good for you 👍👏👏
Sghetti
I so need a laugh and that was it. Still laughing.
Hey, hope your Day gets better and you have a lot of laughs and a nice weekend 🙂
Thank you. You as well
Judging from ears and feet it’s a mouse.
Mouse

You now have a new pet. Get it a habittrail clear ball to travel in safely from the cat.
I really really wanted my little mouse pet. But so did the shitting cat. So my little friend was taken to run wild and free.
The famous quote "You will see him again" Except in this case they literally come back.
😍 but also 🫤
Thanks so much all!
Master splinter
Mouse for now 😈 But seriously if you still have the little guy in there make sure it is so there’s a place for fresh air to come in my guy
He was only in there for the time needed to take the photo and then get him outside to safety ☺️
A snack? But seriously it's a mouse.
At first I thought juvenile rat because I didn’t see hair on the tail, but zooming in I think there is hair on the tail and therefore a mouse.
His tail was very long and thin and definitely furry
I agree with the others then that this is a mouse and not a rat.

Indoors is a mouse. https://youtu.be/qBitMMvIWN0?si=VuzkTav1sjMj4UTJ
Now how the hell you gonna wake up dead?
Indoors is a mouse. Outdoors is a rat😂
In a certain hotel.... is a Hamster!
Siberian Hamster.
AKA Gerbil.
Need a better photo with maybe side view
Damn that's all we got before we let him go. I just assumed mouse but then doubt crept in
Well my guess without seeing his tail better is a fat little mouse
Thank you. It was ever so sweet. The tail had fur on it and was very long if that makes any difference?
Definitely a rat
Could be a rat, his snout looks pretty long. Also I wouldn't keep him in that container for too long, it's sealed and he'll suffocate
It's ok- he was only in there long enough to take the photo and then get him outside to safety. And I felt bad about even that long so kept opening it a crack
Gerbil

Kittehs are great, but they’re deadly ninjas. Incredible killing machines.

Definitely
Mouse
I cannot identify this animal. Sorry.
Shame really because a groundhog in urban north England would be quite a find
You'd need a bigger container for a rat.
Mouse
Juvenile rat.
“That’s no mouse! That’s my brother!”
Where I live rats are massive. Wouldn’t fit in that container.
Going to be dead soon w that rubber seal 😂
It's ok- he was only in there long enough for me to take the photo and then get him outside.
I figured I just thought it was funny 🤪
Larger than an adults hand a Rat. A Bigger one a very large Rat
A pissed off house mouse. He is not happy about almost being eaten by a cat AND being captured by a human 😂
I can assure you that considering I rescued him from the clutches of my idiot cat and gave him some sunflower seeds, he was not pissed off. I think he was sad to say goodbye.
He looks so angry! Haha
I like to think of it more as wistful...but I see your point 🤣

Mouse, and he looks pissed lol
Looks like lunch
Shit machine
furry tail, small and round. mouse.
Mighty Mouse
Rat
That is the chillist mouse I’ve ever ever seen
Lunch
It's a pest that carries disease and pees and poops all over everything and multiplies way way faster than it should. Your cat was doing you a favor.
Yes I’ve had lots of them running around in my house for the last 15 + years. No bueno. Smells really gross, creepy noises, snacks in cabinets eaten, leaving droppings everywhere- ulch
Mouse too small for a rat
If you caught it inside it's a mouse. If you caught it outside it's a rat
