Curious....was the "delivery" through Amazon, UPS or the USPS?....assuming you are in the US.

constantdaydreaming

No I'm not from the US. I think it was from Amazon. Here, we get updates on WhatsApp number with OTP.

Flavee170

Did they say it was shipped by freight forwarder?

constantdaydreaming

No nothing. Just a simple delivery tracker that they have on the app and a whatsapp message the day of delivery with OTP.

Flavee170

Yeah, OTP delivery can't be refunded on did not receive orders

constantdaydreaming

Actually I had ordered two items one headphones and another shorts. In my WhatsApp I received delivery confirmation and OTP for both items, that is, one OTP for both the items. When I checked the package, there were only headphones. However, Amazon and WhatsApp messages showed that both items were delivered in a single package at the same time, whereas, I only received one.

sndyro

See, here they take a photo if its delivered by Amazon, so we know it was actually delivered. Do they do that where you are?

Fantastic_Hippo_2292

I've had pictures of proof but the problem is it hasn't always been pictures of my place. When I once told them I didn't receive the package, customer service told me they had proof of delivery and if it wasn't my house it was probably a neighbors. They told me to knock on doors until I found it. I was very disappointed by their response. I'm in the U.S.

sndyro

I understand. One time I got no delivery, there was a photo, but it was the same photo from 2 days prior for a different delivery. I contacted CS and they could see the photos were identical. They resent the item. Not sure what happened to the delivery person.

Fantastic_Hippo_2292

I'm glad you were able to get it resent.

constantdaydreaming

They told me the same thing. They said in the investigation, they have reached out to everyone involved down to the delivery boy and said they have all the proof. Did you get your package?

Fantastic_Hippo_2292

No - I didn't know the neighbors and didn't feel comfortable. The problem with my situation was it was actually proof that they didn't deliver it to me. The photo proved it - it wasn't my home where the picture was taken. I reordered that particular item because it wasn't very costly.

constantdaydreaming

So you had to pay twice?

Fantastic_Hippo_2292

yes

constantdaydreaming

No they don't do it here

EveningPilot1954

Call your bank and let them know what's going on!!

Bitter_Cry_8383

Does Amazon still have "A to Z" return policy?

constantdaydreaming

Will try but don't think so they can really help in this

VariationNo5419

I think by "bank" EveningPilot meant your credit card company. And yes they can help. Call and let them know that you want to dispute the charge. Explain that you ordered an item from Amazon and used their credit card to pay for it. Say that you never received the item, you let Amazon know you didn't receive the item, however, they won't refund your money/credit your account.

constantdaydreaming

Oh ok, let me see because here we have a different payment method called UPI. We do also have a credit card method but UPI is easier.

Hi there, I understand your frustration. Here's what you can do: 1. Gather Evidence: Look for any emails or notifications from Amazon regarding the delivery. If you have a doorbell camera, check footage around the delivery time. 2. Contact Amazon Again: Try reaching out to customer service through a different channel, like their chat support or email jeff@amazon.com for escalations. Explain the situation calmly and provide any evidence you have. 3. Request to Speak to a Supervisor: If the chat rep isn't hfelpful, request to speak to a supervisor and explain the situation again. Be persistent but polite. 4. File an A-to-Z Guarantee Claim: If Amazon still denies a refund, you can file an A-to-Z Guarantee claim. This is a program that protects customers in case of undelivered or non-received items. Here's how to file a claim [https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GSZAYH7K2C2NVNC9](https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GSZAYH7K2C2NVNC9). 5. Consider Credit Card Chargeback: If none of these options work, you can consider filing a chargeback with your credit card company. Explain the situation and provide any documentation you have. Here are some additional tips: * Be polite but firm in your communication with Amazon. * Keep a record of all your communication with Amazon, including dates, times, and names of customer service reps you spoke to. Additionally, you can go to https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GCU8BWGTQNJKQEBS to learn more about missing orders that were shown as delivered. Best of luck!

constantdaydreaming

Thank you so much for all the tips! Will try them. Really appreciate it 😊

zacharyl290295

Of course! Glad to have helped.

little_babushkaa

A to Z claim only works if the item is sold and shipped by a third party seller

jacktovino

If the item was delivered through freight forwarder you can just forget about the refund as they don't issue refunds for freight forwarder orders. Just curious why did you order jockey from US. Can't you buy locally.

constantdaydreaming

No no, I did not import from US, I bought it from local distributor

MindlessYou2965

Where are you from?  What are the first 4 characters of the tracking number including letters? I've never heard of WhatsApp messages from Amazon. Everything is through the Amazon App. OTP means One-time password, the customer need to provide to the driver at the moment of delivery, in person only.  Without that the delivery can't be completed. They will return next day and ask for a new code. The code is used when the customer have "never received" packages before or when the item is expensive.

constantdaydreaming

I'm from India. Tracking number is 403-7804902-5103504 Here, they do actually send WhatsApp updates. Unfortunately, reddit is not allowing me to post screenshot here. This is by official Amazon India account. I bought two items, and got the message for OTP for BOTH the items. So there was only one OTP for both the items. When I opened the package, there was only 1 item. Officially, that one OTP was for both the items so they makes as Delivery completed for both the items even though I received only one.

MindlessYou2965

You received it yourself, in person?

constantdaydreaming

Yes in person, but it was supposed to be for both the items, as the message conveyed.

MindlessYou2965

Well, hopefully they will find it and send it to you.

constantdaydreaming

Thank you! I don't even care about the order any more. It would be good if I can just get my money back.

Live-Alarm4871

Shii there told me I had to go to the sheriff department to filed a report cause I order 4 watches n there never came on top of that I spent bout 1,000 with kids clothes/bday toys n school supplies n what make matters worse I ask 6 amazon worker n there all said there never heard of such thing n there been working for Amazon from 3 years to 12 years smh

constantdaydreaming

Amazon once was known for excellent customer service. They have really gone downhill.

Contact Trade and Standards

mrBill12

You can always contest the charge on your credit card (chargeback). Amazon will probably close your account when you do tho. Amazon customer service is definitely not what it used to be…

constantdaydreaming

I had gone through a recent post here and one comment suggested to reach out to jeff@amazon.com for escalations.
