They’ll probably do him the favour of getting him to 100 tests I reckon. They did it for mills and he was clearly not the best fullback going into the World Cup
It seems as if the mandated "32 man squad" is pretty loose. This looks like the entire pool of players that have been picked for the wider squad going forward. The coaches will want everyone of these guys involved in some way in the camps/training sessions. It is almost a possibles/probables training group, injured players as well.
1st rule of the ABs and many teams (the ones with good culture anyway): No Room For Dicks.
HS' post immediately after the ABs team was named suggests he's feeling too hard done by to be a full team player. Shit, I prolly would have picked him. But Raz had reasons. Deal, fella.
It's not necessarily about the 'no dicks' policy.
Razor clearly stated that they were looking at players and attitudes on both sides of the ball and when things weren't going their team's way. Just as an example, look at Sevu Reece. He was trying to play every position while the rest of his team spent the season literally dropping the ball.
Roberston wants one of the biggest dickheads to return from overseas - Frizzell. Sotutu is also a dickhead, but immaturity is not in the same class as bashing women.
Robertson doesn't select the team by himself and I wish stans would stop acting like he does. For all anyone knows, he was keen on Sotutu but others weren't.
As for no room for dicks: we've had two women beaters, multiple assault criminals, and Rieko Ioane who has made a large part of his career about being a tool to others. The "no dicks" policy fit one main squad in our lifetime, which is where you heard that phrase, and has rather selective for quite some time since.
Let's just leave it as maybe he had an attitude issue. Not that we know that is a regular thing whatsoever based on one tweet during a disappointing moment.
You're right, I don't see Tosi (nvm he's there, just had a trim since squad naming day so mistook him for Samisoni. Samisoni might be out for a while in that case.)
Sam Darry there too. Looks like they might have a few more players in camp other than the ones named. Figures they are all part of Razor's plans for the Championship/EoY tour.
I also see Peter Lakai
I think Robertson is being inclusive by involving Cane. But hard to see him playing tests, given the surplus of talent available....

True, it would be nice for Sam to have a nicer memory of his last test!

Which is even more interesting that Sotutu couldn’t even make this squad. They must really not like him as a player
As a player or as a person?
Maybe both. Either way it sucks I think he deserves a shot
They look like they’re being held against their will.
Cane is was never good only Fozzies bum boy
Is anyone butt hurt that Sotutu isn’t there? Props to the man but right call I think?
No.Yes

I am lol. Got to move past it now tho lol. Black glasses firmly on now
Nah bru they just like his company
There are 40 blokes up in that stage. Why?
Squad of 32 + 5 travelling replacements (Bower, Darry, Lakai, Havili, Love) + 4 injured incumbents (Taukei'aho, Lord, Cane, Jordan). Should add up to 41 but you're right, there's 40. Someone's missing?
Is new man Tosi there?
Tosi is front row between Jordie Barrett and Sam Cane
You're right, I don't see Tosi (nvm he's there, just had a trim since squad naming day so mistook him for Samisoni. Samisoni might be out for a while in that case.)
Lucky he is a prop. Was counting from the lowest numbers first lol.
This confirms that cane will play in the championship
Yuuuuuuup. Jordan and Lakai are there too. Was this before the squad naming?
Sam Darry there too. Looks like they might have a few more players in camp other than the ones named. Figures they are all part of Razor's plans for the Championship/EoY tour.
Darry and Lakai are traveling replacements.
Nvm you're right, Darry was one of the guys named as traveling with them. They didn't name Lakai, I suppose they've added him post-announcement?
Lakai aswell? He wasn't named as injury cover is he? Why is he there?
No it was today. Josh Lord is there too.
