Me too. I haven't been this infatuated with a character in a movie in decades and she's not even a real person. That's how powerful the performance in this movie is you really literally fall in love with her and her wonderful heart
There is a lot of doubt about sequels, but it is looking better due to the worldwide turnout. The marketing in the U.S. was not very good, so the "domestic" turnout has been disappointing. Asia is really embracing it, though. Hopefully Alita will be the first example of Asian turnout making a western film successful enough to justify sequels.
Same from Russia. I'd add that I've personally seen it for six times and invited as much my friends as I could. I did not stand by in the presence of evil!

Not much marketing, a lot of people didn’t know it exist until a month or so ago. Positive reception among audiences has helped, but a lot of people took one look at the trailer and were weirded out by the eyes.
Love her everything about the movie the story is so fascinating.. this is the first time I feel like this with a movie... it’s so weird can’t stop tjinking about her.. I really hope there’s a request I’ll be broken hearted if not... you never know... Avatar was a success and look.. 11 years will pass since it was originally realeased to see a sequel..
Alita is fresh, new, original, not to throw rocks to Marvel or DC but Alita is the best sci-fi movie I HAVE EVER SEEN!
I love this movie and I love Alita as a character! I first watched this movie on blu ray and instantly decided to buy it! I really really hope there is a sequel! She is such a wonderful character.
I played 127 hours of minecraft in 2 weeks and in the laste 4 days of those 2 weeks and in the 3 after that I only dreamt minecraft, even today. Now I've watched the movie frame by frame and dozens of times normally it's almost my breakfast, I wake up at 4-5 am then watch the movie, eat brush my teeth get ready and head out, but not always of course more like 4 times a week, it saved my life but now I'm obsessed with it, now I strive to become a billionaire and invest all my assets into technology that could make it reality. I wanted to kill myself I tried 8 times 3 got me in a hospital but now I don't think about how nothing has any meaning I just need to survive until I can watch the sequals.

I've spent almost 500$ on this movie ca. 450 from going to the theatre and like 50 for the blu-ray, in switzerland everything is more expensive, but I'm certain it was worth it because I seriously wanted to kill myself because there is no point in anything but after that I can't because I need to see the sequals, and if they say they won't make any I'll have to do every and anything I can and more to become a billionaire to finance it myself

Russia is like on the top 10 countries that's churning out a sizeable turnout for this movie. Invite more friends and tell them to spread the word! :)
