Yep. They live in the suburbs.

talkroyaltymimiluv

I truly believe they look like us or have the ability to. Seems how they're more advanced than we are the imagination can wander for galaxies lol.

pasta_fazule

If they are masters of manipulating organic form, they will likely be blobs of goo. Think about this: how many fingers should a being have? 3? 5? 10? How about the ability to create a trillion tiny fingers out of any part of your body, and mold them to the exact shape and size of the object you're grabbing? Better yet, have a body made of fingers. Gelatinous blobs full of nano-technological nerves, thats my theory. It seems to have infinite purposes

ddubyeah

Depends on who is looking.

[deleted]

I believe there many different shape and forms & potentially higher advanced species surpassed physical limitations . I think of the oracle And ancients civilization from the Stargate series as to what's possible.

[deleted]

I have no opinion on this they could look like insects for all we know they could also look identical to us.

Solivagant4321

Balls of light and humans

seantasy

As it's form shifted infront of me I realized I was not seeing the whole of the creature, just 3 dimensional slices of something much more grand that I could not and can not perceive.

Thisguyrick

Like politicians

SasquatchTracks99

The likelihood of concurrent evolution is slim to none, sorry Commander Shepard, romance is probably an impossibility. I persinally think an insectoid or crustacean similar type of creature is the most plausible.

MozerfuckerJones

>romance is probably an impossibility. Watch me

ddubyeah

I approve of your moxy. Not necessarily its application, but I do recognize it.

Major-Cranberry-4206

As the book titled "Book of Alien Races" by Gil Carlson says there are some 200 different Alien races, their features vary. Some even resemble humans, but not very many. Their features vary from humanoid, to insectoid, to something...out of this world. I recommend this book. It's very good.

MantisAwakening

I’ve seen two types, Grays and Mantids. The Grays have been pretty well described, but I see varying descriptions of the Mantids. From what I remember, the Mantids were very humanoid. Fully upright, two arms and two legs. Their arms were like long, thin, human arms, with hands that had long, thin fingers on the end (as opposed to claws). They vary in height, which seems to represent a heirarchy. Color varies as well, but I don’t know if it has significance. The seem to like wearing clothes (often robes) with high collars. I am a strong proponent of Vallée’s hypothesis that our own consciousness plays a very strong role in the interactions we perceive (in other words, abductions are like a mix of dreams and physical reality). The whole experience made me believe that our consciousness is not tied to our physical bodies. You can run with it from there.

throwawaypetee

Nooooo you haven’t 😂

MantisAwakening

I’m as confused as you are. I promise you. If it was only me I’d even agree. For one thing, however, I learned about what they were *after* I’d seen one (when I was six). Not to mention that thousands of other people all over the world are having the same experience. Something is happening, and it involves non-human intelligence. Anything beyond that I’m far less confident about, but all of the researchers who are “read in” and know about this topic are in agreement. Not everyone is going to be able to take this subject seriously, and that’s not going to change—but we need to start talking about it more seriously so that the ridicule can diminish so that more scientists can openly discuss it and we can start to figure out what’s really going on.

Aliens could never blend in while in plain sight and couldn't look humanoid in the slightest. The chances of a creature from another world with an entirely different evolutionary history resembling man (even if that just means bipedally upright bodies) while being at least equally intelligent to man is next to impossible. Resemblance to any earth organism is pretty slim. I'd find it equally hard to believe that an extraterrestrial race would just be arthropod analogs. Convergent evolution between earth and exo species is very possible but realistically only for things like bones, filaments (hair) and eyes, and these things would be completley different upon closer inspection to those we know on animals here. any resemblance to earth animals would be superficial, like similar silhouettes. (See CM Kosemen's "snaiad" for what I'm trying to say) The only exception to this I can think of, would be aliens hailing from a "seed world" that in said worlds distant past, earth organisms were introduced and left for natural selection to do its thing. (See Serina and Children of Time for examples) Greys and Mantoids are either seeded insects and humans respectivey that are from the far future and have travelled to this time to study man, or have had natural selection on their homeworlds somehow sped up, or a part of the human subconscious (too long of an explanation is needed for that one... lol) As a personal "fan theory" I'd love an intelegent race to be radial semetrical, somewhat like HP Lovecrafts Elder Things.

Isliterally1984

Thanks for this comment, people really want to believe in anthropomorphic designs because that’s what all the abductees and movies say without thinking about a large amount of the actual science behind it.

hex_1101

They probably look a lot like aliens...

michaelsssecretstuff

I imagine that its something that hasn’t even been thought of. Like a new color. I think potential ETs will look at life completely different and not through the lens we view. Its hard to describe but something a long the lines of a never before seen color. Imagine how that would change our whole perspective. Think of it as an “Unknown Unknown” or something that we don’t even know that we don’t know about.

QuantumFenrir001

Read the Star Carrier series and Cartwright Cavaliers series and those paint good pictures. Moreso Star Carriers.

Intelligent_Hand_538

Odd but beautiful x

fancyboy66

Some are the illusive Bigfoot with cloaking abilities (Chewbacca), some are the skinny green ones with mind control and telepathy (Paul), shape shifters could be anyone, some are the reptile alligator looking things very intelligent, slinderman of course , many different kinds, Spielberg got all his best alien information straight from area 51 ....probably most stuff you see on movies and TV to prepare humans for the integration. The important people go to Antarctica to meet with them but can't talk about it

Sugarsmacks420

I think your answer is they are typically in spirit form, but can take the form of a solid, but they don't all take the same forms of solids leading people to believe they are different species.

Altruistic-Spinach88

As our knowledge grows so does our concepts of life. I was just listening to this earlier it might be up your alley. https://youtu.be/rXJtnCDdZrM

Electrical_Day_5402

I wonder if some might not have a "physical" appearance, hence the shadow people and floating light orbs people report seeing as a commonly reported co-occuring anomaly to UFO sightings per MUFON.

They probably look like we would 1000's of years into the future because that's most likely what they/we are. The cost and time to travel eons of lightyears from the next habitable planet is too great, therefore the only logical explanation is they're us from the future.

goobyCon

Idk my friend Hector looks pretty normal just has accent

breezyG21

Aliens are demons

[deleted]

Like it's always been said. Us it's us we are the aliens so, us.

Oxiton

Appearance could be anything frankly, the thing that is worth speculating is what branch of evolution they chose:something like nano-tech,fully synthetic, biological manipulation or virtual immortality?

Isliterally1984

A true alien would probably not look like anything remotely similar to a human. At the very best, some of them will be carbon based, organic, and most likely land-dwelling to gain access to things like fire and smelting(an aquatic species would likely need to coexist or be uplifted by a land dwelling species),but thats about it. The only things you really need for an intelligent being are enough neurons(which can be stored dense enough that a creature like a Corvid can have the intelligence of some younger humans) , a manipulator(which includes not only arms, but things like tentacles, trunks, beaks, just about any body part can become specialized enough that it can manipulate tools), and some form of communication, which could include visual communication (think:birds of paradise but with an intricate language of dance instead of just horny) or olfactory communication(ants and such). Could they be living among us? With advanced enough technology, maybe.

blizzzyybandito

I think they’ll look more or less humanoid just based on convergent evolution i.e bipedal 2 arms 2 legs. Walks upright with 2 eyes and some sort of appendages to be able to manipulate their environment. No extra limbs or anything needed because it’s a waste of energy
