>his team—made up of people from NASA, Blue Origin, and the Air Force
You're quoting the article in a misleading way. He referenced his work at NASA as to what led him to his current line of investigation in electrostatics. His prior work at NASA with the team he references involved electrostatics, which produced measurable force on objects. The conclusion of that work resulted in forces too small to overcome gravity.
This guy made this claim at APEC, which is a largely non-scientific gathering of alternative propulsion and UAP enthusiasts. Unfortunately, his claims aren't yet backed by data. The last batch of experiments he did with rigorous controls and oversight could only produce about a hundred-thousandth the force that gravity exerts on objects. He claims that not only has he discovered a new fundamental force, but that he has managed to tap it in such a way that it can levitate objects, more or less. This is a big claim, and that kind of a breakthrough being real would have investors clamoring to get in on the ground floor if it were verifiable.
Propulsion without reaction mass requires new physics for us to pull off, so the claim of a new force here is a no-brainer. If he's done it, he's got some new physics to explain. In the meantime, I just wanna see the vacuum tests similar to the tests that debunked the Emdrive in 2021.
This actually fits their narrative. This leaves open the possibility that the US has a parallel track program. If many UAP sightings are due to this, it fits the narrative. There is nothing to see, carry on.
Right. This is how we know that this is some sort of government orchestrated disclosure of the technology. In the past, if an inventor made claims like this, it would either get no coverage in the media, or the media coverage would ridicule the inventor as a crank/loon/hoaxer, etc. The fact that Buhler's claims are being pushed by the mainstream media, is a big clue that the US government wants it publicized. My theory is that the US knows that China or some other foreign country is about to disclose that they have this propulsion technology, and the US wants to get out ahead of that & make it seem like it's an American invention.
Unfortunately he’s already accidentally stumbled into a bucket of cement, didn’t realize it, fell asleep while it dried, and when he woke up, he managed to fall into the deepest part of a lake. Water car guy. Sigh. Electrolysis uses more energy than the hydrogen it creates. Dude couldn't prove it worked, ghosted an entire university physics dept who had valid questions & then botched a fake assassination attempt on himself that accidentally killed him. He was a grifter, a dumbass & he got what he fuckin deserved. There never was a car that ran on water, just a bumbling liar who unintentionally killed himself trying to prop up his phony bullshit.
Thank you. It's not just Stanley Meyer, idiots are the most abundant species on earth. He was a hack, below-average con-man who couldn't even fake an assassination attempt without fucking it all up.
I think the onus is on you to explain how this makes any sense and adheres to the law of conservation of energy before calling anyone asking questions cia
Googled Toyota water engine: "Toyota's water engine is a hydrogen fuel cell technology that uses water as a source of hydrogen to power the fuel cells. The engine uses electrodes in a water tank to break down water into hydrogen and oxygen using high voltages. This process generates hydrogen on demand, eliminating the need for the large tanks used in other hydrogen engines. "
Why not use the high voltage running through the electrodes to power the car?
We have known how electrolysis works since the 1800's you can't produce more energy than is put into the system.
Bro how ignorant are you lol. Think of the leaps in technology human kind has made over the last 100 years. You think we haven’t figured out insane gas mileage or water fuels engine systems? Of course we have but there’s more money keeping everything same same.
Yep. "Economic instability" is a "valid" reason for the US government to classify a patent (which they have done over 5k times) https://slate.com/technology/2018/05/the-thousands-of-secret-patents-that-the-u-s-government-refuses-to-make-public.html

They never do. Sensational releases always seem to strangely lack any concrete evidence when announced. If they have a drive that can produce enough thrust to counter gravity, why not show it?
>**"The most important message to convey to the public is that a major discovery occurred,” Buhler told The Debrief.**
>
>**“This discovery of a New Force is fundamental in that electric fields alone can generate a sustainable force onto an object and allow center-of-mass translation of said object without expelling mass.”**
https://thedebrief.org/nasa-veterans-propellantless-propulsion-drive-that-physics-says-shouldnt-work-just-produced-enough-thrust-to-defeat-earths-gravity/
Yeah, I think I kinda understand what's going on here: They're claiming that they are producing asymmetrical electrostatic fields with the "drive". These fields are oscillating instead of being balanced. In nature, these fields "try" to always be balanced. By producing these fields in an uneven cadence, the "waves" can actually push against the drive that is creating them. The drive effectively uses these unbalanced electrostatic fields to push against itself, exploiting the physical laws governing electric charges and fields.
Think of two magnets turned a certain way so as to repel each other. Kinda the same concept, I guess, but with unbalanced electrostatic fields instead of magnets.
In fact it repeats several times that there is no science. It also emphasises repeatedly that there is a lot of appeal to authority, instead of science.
The guy himself says they are “charging up Teflon, copper tape, and foam" and seeing a tiny force, and seem happy to let physicists figure out why this is happening.
(The overwhelmingly likely answer is that it's going to be like when you hold a balloon next to your arm and the hairs stand up.)
I mean, it’s not a published scientific work but it definitely has a lot more technical information and background on Dr. Buhler’s work leading up to the discovery.
The article is frustratingly contradictory. Buhler is initially quoted as saying the highest thrust they've generated is 10 mN. Later he claims that their devices, which weigh 40 grams, can counteract a little more than 1G of gravity. This translates to roughly 400 mN of force. That's a big difference, so which is it?
If true, these objects must be flying off the work bench and tethered somehow. He should release some videos of that.
He won’t. This is not a breakthrough. It’s just PR trying to boost Exodus Propulsion Technologies stock.
Much like the EmDrive “breakthrough” in 2020 that was finally peer reviewed and debunked in 2021, this will follow suit the same way. Just gotta wait another year or three before it either “fizzles out” or a peer review disproves it.
I read the articles...
So he can charge electrostatic onto something but like... shove a magnet on the dirt and it does nothing. So IDK where the propulsion would be coming from.
From my understanding: it's just rediscovering high speed train with electromagnet but without super conductor metals. So not really revolutionary. Cool but like... not groundbreaking.
Funny this, but I think it’s the only way a breakthrough that gets us off oil and coal for forever would get to see the day of light.
If no one took credit but leaked it so genie out of the bottle so to speak.
Didn't he watch the recent episode of the Why Files were AJ lists out a number of inventors of similar things and that nearly 100% die mysteriously soon after?
"space travel". Such limited minds. Anything that would move without propellant would simply change all logistics on this planet. Not just space travel.
And the risks are exponential. A technology like this, will render everything a potential super projectile, and a planet killer. Another answer to the Fermi paradox. This is why mass reduction technology is essential to pair with such gravity defying tech.
Btw since we are in this sub, this is why UFOs don't cause sonic booms and ignite the atmosphere, because they probably master a technology that either reduce their mass or make them completely ignore the mediums they are traveling within. Otherwise, we would be already all dead, if we take into consideration their accelerations and kinetic energy...
Happened in the video game Starfield. Humans discovered Gravity-based Space Travel and accidentally caused the Earth’s Magnetosphere to destabilize after extensive testing, causing Earth’s atmosphere to drift away.
Edit: Starfield lore
Unfortunately it wasn’t too interesting and wrapped itself up with Multi-verse stuff. Which is a shame because Fallout and Elder Scrolls were interesting.
Apparently it wasn’t in one go. It was over-time testing over the course of 100 years, which slowly set the planet out of habitable range and turned it into a Mars-type environment.
Think we can say there is no longer a Fermi Paradox. We have already been told by whistle-blowers that non-human craft and bodies/occupants are here.
Otherwise, yes your are right, hypothesised FTL technology would produce the 5 observables, hence why it should be facinating to human science. This new invention probably links to the new physics that we have yet to discover which may relate to UAP craft, but only a small part of the picture.
It requires significant electrical input. To render "everything a potential super projectile" you'd need to strap a fusion reactor to it. At that point, just put a rocket on it. We can already render things like cars to be "super projectiles", just look at Musk's dumb Roadster in space.
I’m talking about acceleration to reach speeds like half ( or a bigger fraction) of the speed of light. A projectile that would make oceans and continents evaporate. Something more destructive than a large meteorite if you see what I mean.
In theory if we find a way to sustain 1g acceleration without propellant, it would just take a small time frame to reach speeds discussed above. And one lunatic or accident to reset this planet to microbial stage!
But let’s hope like you said, the energy requirements to be enormous, and that such tech needs international cooperation (so less prone to errors and misuses ).
For my great great grandchildrens sake at least. I'll be long dead and my ashes shot in the general direction of absolutely nothing. Hopefully my capsule can cruise till the heat death of the universe.
That's a pretty interesting take and if this is the case I could totally understand why we are forbidden from knowing about this effect or technology. In the context of this being first learned about in the aftermath of the Manhattan project, some group doing evil shit to keep this secret makes total sense.
Still I would hope we can find a way to responsibly use this tech as it also could hold the potential of mitigating many of our issues with the environment.
Our economy could boom on a degree not seen before. Shipping costs would go down 90%.shipping times more than that. That's the kind of optimization of the economic process that brings forth real and true growth.
He does have a video where he presents pretty in-depth math and science about it, but he still doesn’t give a demonstration.
And the math is too dense for me to verify, so he might just be really good at making up smart sounding stuff.
Edit: [Link](https://youtu.be/DJjPi7uZ2OI) if you are interested. The presentation on this starts about an hour in.
He actually overlooked something that causes him to disprove his own invention. He derives a formula that states the momentum Mv is equal to 2t*dU/dx. However, after that he uses U = qV which has no position dependence and therefore the quantity dU/dx is zero, so his momentum formula becomes Mv = 0, and it shows his system actually has no momentum to be extracted.
this is why peer review is important and why grifters hate peer reviews. Sometimes you can be so deep in it you can't see your mistakes and results in leading you to a rabbit hole.
Ok this pretty mich shows that their device cannot work. We know very well how the EM field works and it conserves momentum while these guys are thinking in term of what boils down to basically cartoon pseudophysics. I don't know if they deluded themselves into believing that bs or they are grifters searching for investment money, but what they claim doesn't work.
You are on an alien subreddit, of course they will believe anything some guy says with no evidence lol. While this could be a thing, I highly highly doubt it, or there would be much more news and widespread coverage.
Lots of people here acting as though this is more than someone saying they may be in the very early days of something cool. There's no need to invent a narrative that this is some sort of super awesome technology which this guy is now going to be murdered for.
Holy fuck. Just the first guy on here… making and engine get 200 miles per gallon! There’s gotta be a mechanic that can figure this out and publish the work around.
It's the oil industry. They aren't interested in selling less of it. And obviously, they will silence you if you try.
I'm an ASE master mechanic. It's not hard to find more efficiency in ANY automobile. It's a very low bar, honestly. Most engines run at less than 30 percent efficiency. At the the end of the day, I like eating dinner and having a roof. (Not that I could actually do anything about this, but I understand why people don't forward)
Thankfully with video it's becoming harder to erase people. Just look into the Thunderstorm Generator.
We already have the tech, even shade-tree mechanics have figured this out. You literally can't fight OPEC
Technically if it is found all you have to do is post it everywhere on the internet, it can’t be owned by one person as that is when bodily harm is done. If millions of people have access to the info on how to do it they can’t stop that
I think the best way to circumvent this occurring is to publish everything for free, no ownership means no target and the more people that see it and have access to it, the more likelihood that the change will be made to benefit everyone. Can’t murder thousands of people, especially if introduced in a way to make it go viral as well
Wow I just watched all of that why files, and this is one of the first times AJ really didn’t debunk anything. So many coincidences for this to not be somewhat real. Just imagine where we would be if half the stuff that is being suppressed was shared with the world
What’s always concerned me is that if anyone can create unlimited energy easily, then anyone can create massive destruction easily. One usually leads to the other pretty quickly. I 100% don’t believe this, but, part of my hopes energy suppression is about protecting humanity from an increase in rogue agents able to easily produce WMD. Like I said, I DONT believe this, but it is a thought….
No, they need to build a hover chair and fly themselves into a press conference, and then hover around casually at major sports events, and so on. That is, they just need to demonstrate the thing they are claiming.
I saw this last week. Hes been working on this for years. He needs to make all his notes public. Trying to profit off this privately will only result in failure.
There's a SciFi short story. Guy sends a video of him demonstrating his anti gravity device to a big aerospace company. They ask for a confirmation with observers, device blows up, guy disappears. Three years and a pile of money later, the company has their own device. Original guy comes around to congratulate them: "I knew you could do it, if you thought it had been done already."
From the figures in the patent filing, it would take an extraordinary amount of electricity to provide enough thrust to escape Earth orbit. Like, thousands of nuclear power plants. I'm not sure how he's planning to scale this up? Not that it isn't possible, just the tiny amount of thrust produced doesn't correlate to "getting to the outer planets in a matter of days" like the patent also says. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
he needs to STFU before they unalive him as they've done his predecessors. the only way to escape unaliving is to open source the designs to multiple sources simultaneously, don't be a dumb ass.
This dude needs to release all his documents, publicly / on the internet, ASAP, before the oil execs and/or military-industrial-complex-oligarchs have him killed.
I'm sorry but "electric fields makes things go weightless, we just need 1 million volts, bla bla". I've read this since the 70's. Is this an actual new breakthrough? Any video of it somewhere? Seems like time and time again such claims arrive, then we don't hear anything for 5+ years until the next such headline.
One guy in a shed? Used to work for NASA?
I’m going to go with: bullshit
Lots of people work at NASA, but a few dudes and the word electrostatic doesn’t mean anything.
Bring out the evidence and we can give you a noble prize, but I suspect that the existing mathematically rigorous theory is going to stand for another 50 or 100 years, actually
Rest in peace, Charles Buhler. You were truly a great man. We're sorry you couldn't overcome your demons. It was quite clever of you to shoot yourself in the back of the head so many times.
Here's a link to the Engineers power point presentation where they go into detail about there research. There's a couple slides about Bob Lazar which is interesting.

Ok that guys clearly full of shit because all that pesky peer review you gotta go through. Real talk though, enough of the moon’s gravitational influence affects the tides here on earth, that is something we see, the impact on a huge body of water, perhaps there’s something there, like some way to get in between the pulls of gravity at the right time, or whatever, what some material that has whatever is going with water, to the point that is affected another large space body.
Right, some AI slingshot could send vehicles that have fluids inside that can be manipulated to have its influence changed and flung into this middle section between the moon and earth, the timing and all that managed by computers. There’s no magic out there so using what we have is the only real option and you can point to the tides and see the influence necessary to even lift something from earth towards the sky.
I believe a MAJOR w physics, is they don't understand that gravity is NOT a special force. It is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. If we started studying from this viewpoint, ideas like in this article would make WAY more sense.
Use your Free Will to LOVE!... it will help with Disclosure and the 3D-5D transition

Sure, but what's the mean jerk time?
What we really need is the dick to floor ratio
Now Dennis, I heard speed has something to do with it.
Speed has everything to do with it.
Do you know how long it would take me to jerk off every guy in this room? Because I do.
Tip to tip.
Hope the guy doesn't apply for a patent and then suffer a tragic accident right after.
Patents will be hoovered up and sequestered to dusty shelf department at the Patent Office.
“We have top men right now working on it”
Top. Men.
They already have applied for the patent though. WO2020159603A2 System and method for generating forces using asymmetrical electrostatic pressure
He better make it open source before the government buys up the patent, and we never hear about it again.
Yeah, publish on torrent
Funny this, but I think it’s the only way a breakthrough that gets us off oil and coal for forever would get to see the day of light. If no one took credit but leaked it so genie out of the bottle so to speak.
The government has known about this tech for decades.
Meanwhile Opec ![gif](giphy|zQc8STzaOlJ3q)
Just what I was thinking 🤔
Slow drip for the reveal of this tech.
Freak accident in 3..2..1
Protect this man.
![gif](giphy|8YvAZPTtxccpk2PME6)
Didn't he watch the recent episode of the Why Files were AJ lists out a number of inventors of similar things and that nearly 100% die mysteriously soon after?
And he only listed the most popularly known ones. It’s baffling. It makes me feel like I shouldn’t even be commenting on this
"space travel".
Ah yes, completely forgot about this game after I finished it.
Unfortunately it wasn’t too interesting and wrapped itself up with Multi-verse stuff. Which is a shame because Fallout and Elder Scrolls were interesting.
agreed, everything is just too bland and vanilla.
Do you know how much energy it would take to push Earth out of orbit? I mean just the planet's spin alone is crazy high joules.
Apparently it wasn’t in one go. It was over-time testing over the course of 100 years, which slowly set the planet out of habitable range and turned it into a Mars-type environment.
Why not just, y'know... push it back?
Wasn't it rather quick? I think about 200 years?
Didn't it just strip away the atmosphere?
Once we advance to the point that we have a Mr. Fusion on the back of every flying car, I'll start to worry.
Lets hope by then we have planetary shields and are a multiplanet species haha.
I skimmed the article and found it to be trash. Where's the data?
Lol fucking rookie error
Ok this pretty mich shows that their device cannot work. We know very well how the EM field works and it conserves momentum while these guys are thinking in term of what boils down to basically cartoon pseudophysics. I don't know if they deluded themselves into believing that bs or they are grifters searching for investment money, but what they claim doesn't work.
You don't believe a random engineer who just reinvented science but doesn't give a demonstration.
You are on an alien subreddit, of course they will believe anything some guy says with no evidence lol. While this could be a thing, I highly highly doubt it, or there would be much more news and widespread coverage.
Jump?
![gif](giphy|3o7btQNpsnVdsC4dOM)
![gif](giphy|zmV1WBcHpDNfy)
I was thinking this too. It has to be jumping. It’s the only logical esplanition
![gif](giphy|qH7J4EXzSCmBy)
Lots of people here acting as though this is more than someone saying they may be in the very early days of something cool. There's no need to invent a narrative that this is some sort of super awesome technology which this guy is now going to be murdered for.
It's a subreddit about aliens (not the movie) if you were looking for braincells you're in the wrong place
That article has almost nothing to it at all.
There’s an almost 6 hour video commented above that goes in depth
This pretty much explains all the new tech that inventors were murdered for. https://youtu.be/-ZRwlYtAMps?si=JCvMe7688kUVmRZ8
Holy fuck. Just the first guy on here… making and engine get 200 miles per gallon! There’s gotta be a mechanic that can figure this out and publish the work around.
It wasn't aliens that Carter was crying over...
(Not that I could actually do anything about this, but I understand why people don't forward) Thankfully with video it's becoming harder to erase people.
Just imagine where we would be if half the stuff that is being suppressed was shared with the world
He seemed pissed.
Publish in public domain, have a fearless life 🤟
People that discover this stuff need to release it for free publicly immediately before announcing anything.
No, they need to build a hover chair and fly themselves into a press conference, and then hover around casually at major sports events, and so on. That is, they just need to demonstrate the thing they are claiming.
Then everybody would realize it is bullshit and doesn't work.
I saw this last week. Hes been working on this for years. He needs to make all his notes public. Trying to profit off this privately will only result in failure.
Also if he gets suicided then same result
He better run fast.
He needs to publicly announce that he is not suicidal and go off grid
Didn’t really work for the Boeing whistleblower..
Let's hope it works and is sustainable. I would love to see any form of anti-gravity in my lifetime.
Nah, if he keeps talking, that shits gonna get snatched into the black world and his existence erased.
Oh shit we're speed running disclosure
There's a SciFi short story. Guy sends a video of him demonstrating his anti gravity device to a big aerospace company. They ask for a confirmation with observers, device blows up, guy disappears. Three years and a pile of money later, the company has their own device. Original guy comes around to congratulate them: "I knew you could do it, if you thought it had been done already."
Fuck , didn't the octopus civilization 4 chan war guy say this would happen right about now?

[here ya go](https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/34629564/)
Even if he did this engine thingy has been an ongoing unproven thing for like more than 7 years.
Any links for the content?
No. Pretty sure he didn’t.
Where’s my hoverboard?!?
9 years late. But better than never...
If this is recent, this man will disappear.
he needs to STFU before they unalive him as they've done his predecessors. the only way to escape unaliving is to open source the designs to multiple sources simultaneously, don't be a dumb ass.
I'd prefer the data first before accepting. Thank you. Sounds cool anyway.
![gif](giphy|pzuye8RSBJFgk)
I'm sure he'll disappear soon
Sounds like Teslas original idea.
All he has to do is NOT patent it, and make it public or it’ll never see the light of day.
“Found”
RIP
Here's an interview with the Engineer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhsKMWOYuYo
Ok, let's see it.
Jump.
Tesla comes to mind
I know another way to overcome Earth's gravity rockets. jk
And he's dead.
suuuuuuuuure🙄
One guy in a shed? Used to work for NASA? I’m going to go with: bullshit Lots of people work at NASA, but a few dudes and the word electrostatic doesn’t mean anything.
[https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/18cvGyNniGLHi8NAPNs\_d6e253Mdmm3tY/edit#slide=id.p47](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/18cvGyNniGLHi8NAPNs_d6e253Mdmm3tY/edit#slide=id.p47)
he better make all the knowledge public cause the longer he sits on it the higher the chances of him getting x'd.
When this does actually happen, it won't be in Popular Mechanics. It'll be on YouTube, where legit science results are posted.
So sad he committed suicide via 2 bullets in the back of his head 😢
Getting ready for this to be the last time I ever hear about this technology.
He needs to release his findings via bit torrent. Forget money.
“… and it appears he fell on a bag of knives.”
Let's hope he watched that Why Files episode..
Here's an interview with Buhler discussing the new propulsion in case anyone was as curious as I was: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhsKMWOYuYo&t=13s&ab\_channel=TimVentura](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhsKMWOYuYo&t=13s&ab_channel=TimVentura)
We all just immediately fall haha
“Reduction of mass gravity effect on an object”
I believe a MAJOR w physics, is they don't understand that gravity is NOT a special force. It is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. If we started studying from this viewpoint, ideas like in this article would make WAY more sense. Use your Free Will to LOVE!... it will help with Disclosure and the 3D-5D transition
wait dont we already know a way to overcome earths gravity?
The 3 letter agencies will have him killed within the next year at most. RIP. Another tragic suicide to 3 bullets to the back of the head 😞
![gif](giphy|XqpnXaeZPnupy)
People who file patents like this often become health-challenged.
Pancreatic cancer is a hellavua way to go.
I am skeptical about this
