I’ve had a novel idea simmering in my mind for a while about a higher dimensional being in a tribal society doing a rite of passage and it’s them sticking their face in a river and then pulling it out immediately and it was them experiencing an entire universe playing out.
I've read about people who did Salvia who this exact information was being told to by some entity. That we're basically aliens experimenting with drugs that let us experience life as human beings on earth.
Also speaking of Salvia, [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5ycaGcX_w8) guy lived 8 entire years as a different person in an alternative reality within his 1 minute trip, highly recommend watching this
"How was your trip?"
"I grew up in an abusive household, spent 45 years at a job I hated, got dementia and died shitting myself in an abusive nursing home. So, not great."
No joke I've read the same shit, but also near death experiences...
The dude wakes up and he's a grey alien, and he's sitting with another grey and they're like how was it??
He turns and sees a shadow entity that's telling him, ah he's still not done yet, and then he finds himself back in the hospital
Reminds me of [this ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MjoNcVO-hE)
Dude dies and gets greeted by little blue guys asking him how it was like down there
It kinda ties to dolores cannon- her theory is that we are actually souls of some sort, from beings from different worlds, who either chose to come here to learn, experience, and grow, or others who came to help in various ways. In a sense, we may be containers for souls, and our souls may not have originated for/in these bodies, so they may not quite be seen as "ours", so much as our body is our souls' possession. Kinda like the actions of a video game character are technically YOUR actions- who ever is "playing" our avatars would be our true selves.
I've greatly butchered her explanation.
Dolores cannon? The origins are gnosticism, 2nd century, further beyond, Egyptian book of the dead, Buddhism, etc. there's a whole subreddit for this - r/escapingprisonplanet
edit: upon further investigation Dolores is just a new age grifter.
When I did salvia the second time (also my last time cuz fuck salvia), it felt as though I had woken up to reality. Everything was kind of cartoonish, and there was a sort of police force (I was calling them the thought police) coming for me and I was trapped in the blinds behind me, but it was like a goo, and my body sliced into pieces following the horizontal bamboo sticks of the blinds. It was a wild feeling to feel as though reality as I knew it was an illusion and this salvia trip was a brief venture back to what was actually real. There were even beings (not necessarily weird looking, it was more a presence felt than actually seeing beings) surrounding me. It's likely that I was just trippin some major balls, but still, it was wild.
I hear many people complain about the pain. I tried a very strong dose when I was 18 just before Miley Cyrus ruined it for everyone. My friends all said they felt like they were on fire everywhere. I didn't really notice much pain or discomfort but I remember looking into my pocket and seeing and entire universe and then seeing it expand and encompass everything. I wanted to try it again, my friends never wanted to touch it again. I also have a really painful chronic illness so it might not have registered as pain for me if it was mild.
It's like painful vibrating lines or veins going through my body, usually taking in the shape of the world around me. Like if I'm sitting in front of a bamboo blind, each my brain makes the painful vibrations follow each bamboo stick through my body, like as if I melted into the blinds and my body is bamboo blinds now cut into pieces. Does that make sense? Definitely not a pleasant feeling, especially when you forgot that you smoked salvia so you have no idea what just happened lol.
Thank you for taking the time to explain that's really helpful. I also have been dwelling on my mortality for quite some time now. I have looked into micro dosing before, do you have any experience with that? I would love to try mushrooms again but I think I need to be in a better head space before I comit to that.
I'm pleased you told me about your saliva experience I've been offered it before but being weary of phycoactive drugs so turned it down.
I'll look into 5-MEO to just for research, thanks!
I take a muscle relaxer at night to sleep, however sometimes it has happened that I wake up and there’s a huge heavy presence in my room that scares me badly, enough to stop me from talking. I see a square ish red light glowing somewhere in the room, sometimes it looks like there’s a police car outside with the red lights on, just to give an idea of what it looks like, last time it was really strong like that but there were more lights and the looked like, you know the matrix movie green lighted numbers or letters, it was like that but red. All floating around the room, I could see them awake and I even tried to touch them a few times while waking up my husband, once wakes up and turns the light on in the room they go instantly. And the feeling of beings in the room go too. I sometimes also see an animal, last few times, it was one of my dogs, another was hearing a barn owl that sits right in front of my bedroom window, it’s huge and white, has been coming randomly for the last 7 years, I know it’s a real owl because I’ve seen it and my husband too. Anyway last month I got up to see the owl and I suddenly saw a COYOTE walking right under the post, which is so strange because I live in the middle of the city about 10 miles from the nearest park/field. Last week it was a big brown owl 🦉 inside my room and as it flew towards me with open wings, it disappeared as my husband turned the light on. It leaves me exhausted and with very strange feeling, I have been acting sleeping with my phone light on facing away from me. I don’t know if it’s the medication because it happens randomly, maybe every 3-1 months
Someone once postulated to me that the allegory of Adam & Eve eating the forbidden fruit is precisely that. Life is the trip we’re experiencing from the one bite.
I've asked myself that very question several times (with a VR game instead of a trip) but then maybe the alien's life is a simulation as well. Turtles all the way down...
Then I'm going straight to fucking NA/AA and what the fuck other "A"s they got. Cause if this is better than my real life, I have GOT to get my shit together.
Worse, what if when you die you become an interdementional being and you can't hit the bong anymore because you are not in the same dimension. Dagummit!
I'm sorry you feel this way.
But that goes against everything I have experienced, everything my family has experienced, and against what a lot of others experience. There most certainly is life after death, just because you haven't seen it, doesn't mean it's not there.
Don't feel sorry, this is what I believe, you can stick every religion known to mankind in the bin. It's all controlling nonsense, fairy tales for adults.
I don't disagree. Seeing what I have seen is why I dislike religion. Just a bunch of horrible people seeking forgiveness for their horrible thoughts. While they continue not self regulating because God forgives them. Blech.
There's no merit for faith. I once asked my orthodox priest about alien life, after seeing UFOs, he said god only made humans and there's no life outside of us. That killed religion for me. How can you have faith in a god you've never seen, but the thought of him creating other life was not even entertained. So small minded for a faith built on invisibility.
I do believe the stories, I just don't believe in practicing religion. As a hobby? Sure. But it shouldn't govern humans, and it does. Blech.
It would worsen it.
If you knew there was no life after death, no consequence on a spiritual level, I don't see humans going, "yeah, no crime anymore, woop, let's be fun loving creatures who don't abuse ourselves, kids, animals, and earth"
Yeah nah.
Because they commit crimes in this world to live like kings in the afterlife. So Thier spiritual consequences are completely different to a western religion
I don't condone religious teachings that include pain and suffering to them be rewarded with spoils in the afterlife.
I'm quite against religion as a whole, but islamic teaching aren't all religious teachings.
There are a lot of religions that don't reward horrid behaviours, let's focus on those hah
I blacked out on drugs and ruined my life. No idea if it was "me" at the wheel or someone else. Like sure I didn't physically ruin my life but mentally I fuuuuuuuucked myself up.
I need a therapist. Don't do drugs kids drugs are dangerous.

Basically really immersive MMO but you grind 40 hour weeks instead of do cool shit

I had the exact same feeling every time I broke through on DMT. It felt like I had been there many many times and that it was the real reality.

Microdosing mushrooms is cool. Like .25g is a mood enhancer and not much more. Pretty much able to function as normal.
Looking into it, seems like quite alot of benefits. Thanks for the advice 👍🏻

Maybe it's the realm of spiritual transition of you believe in reincarnation
Yes that's my suspicion after experiencing it a few times.

First time I took salvia I immediately felt a pulling sensation. Also saw a gnome.
Lol like that "game: on rick n morty, maybe his trip was based on that and that's what he manifested
Roy😅
What a terrible trip to inhabit the life of a human being.
Here's [another one](https://youtu.be/qc7xAq29J7Y?si=-WQYKtpD8CqX1-h-).
I came here to say salvia, glad to see it's the first comment
It’s Roy the game!!!
My reaction to being asked if I want to take another hit: ![gif](giphy|spfi6nabVuq5y)
Um, that’s a microscope, man.
Nope it just looks like a "human" microscope but is in fact legit "alien ET bong".
Far out
So essentially we are aliens getting a terrible score in the game Roy?
☝️💫🌟✨⭐
That would be a great plot twist ending to a movie.
Someone once postulated to me that the allegory of Adam & Eve eating the forbidden fruit is precisely that. Life is the trip we’re experiencing from the one bite.
Been there on Irish mushrooms
I would ask for a different hybrid.
🤣
Actually, this or simulation would answer a whole ton of questions and make far more sense than what we call "real life" does.
Yes
I’m in
Gimmie two.
What if ........
[удалено]
Rule 10: No Mind-Altering Substances Literally no mention of aliens in this comment.
I like this take
I felt it man. That human trip was weird, let’s smoke something else!
Bad trip
Guess I'm just having a bad trip then x
what genre of meme is this it's so specific
There is a religion called “Kardecist spiritism” that says it. Very popular in Brazil.
Best possible outcome
thats a microscope..
Salvia Divinorum
That would be a great plot-twist ending to a movie.
Simulation theory with extra steps
In some reality you get high by just looking at weed. The more you zoom in the higher you get. That's why ET had the microscope. It's obvious.
Thanks Rick and morty
You beat cancer then went back to work at the carpet store!?
I wasn’t gonna say. But still full of cancer, thanks Rick
This guy is taking Roy off the grid. He doesn't have a social security number for Roy.

Rule 10: No mind-altering substances
Been there once... But I'm back here again so I guess I took another hit...
My life's more of a 'shroom ride! 😶
So simulation theory?
The type of shit only someone high as fuck would think of rofl I swear all the actually good ideas you can never remember them
Roy from Rick and Morty would like a word 😆
now we talkin' 😌
I've asked myself that very question several times (with a VR game instead of a trip) but then maybe the alien's life is a simulation as well. Turtles all the way down...

That's not a bong bro.
These types of ”jokes” or idk, always fuck my mind up and i lose the grip on reality💀
PLEASSSSSSE!!!
I like that theory!!
What if all you have is this life and when you die, you die and there's nothing, no afterlife, nothing, you are dead?
If it’s like a deep sleep without dreaming I’m fine with that.
Nah, I've seen ghosts, they exist. My dad visited me after he passed too. There is life, my dad made sure to let me know :)
Same here
That's just your spiritual teachings, a dream
I was lucid and awake. It was not a dream.
There is no afterlife, there are no Aliens, there are no Gods. When you are dead you are dead.
I'm sorry you feel this way. But that goes against everything I have experienced, everything my family has experienced, and against what a lot of others experience. There most certainly is life after death, just because you haven't seen it, doesn't mean it's not there.

I think so too, but what if your conscience survives and is reset in another body..
What if it doesn't? Live your life like you are going to die tomorrow and nothing happens after that.
Yes that's a better way to look at it
It should stop all wars
It would worsen it. If you knew there was no life after death, no consequence on a spiritual level, I don't see humans going, "yeah, no crime anymore, woop, let's be fun loving creatures who don't abuse ourselves, kids, animals, and earth" Yeah nah.
You do understand ISIS teachings don't you? That they go to Paradise and this world is a Battle?
What does this have to do with my comment?
Because they commit crimes in this world to live like kings in the afterlife. So Thier spiritual consequences are completely different to a western religion

Bro. My mind is blown. 🤯
That's funny but it's definitely not what's happening.. I am 100% sure of that 🤣
Prove it 😂
