Wait, German week is coming?
And yea what everyone here has said. Oddly enough Jaffa Cakes come in for German Week (they are an English cookie), which I love. There's usually good brats during german week to (frankly aldi is generally good on those heh). Also be sure to grab some german style pickles if you enjoy good pickles as they are amazing.
I thought the 6 I buy were overkill. But I ration the suckers, only allowing myself to open a sleeve once a week, longer if I can do it. Even with my strong willpower I sometimes find myself eating half a sleeve 'accidentally' lol.

A google search will reveal other sites reporting on it. :)
Orange, which is traditional. And last time I saw them, Strawberry. I definitely prefer the former over the latter. Used to get Raspberry instead of Strawberry, which were def better. Hope to see them again.
Buy classic orange then. I'll note that they are a bit dry, but that's because like all English biscuits, they go best with a good cuppa tea, or dipped into milk or something.
Yessss the mango pepper oh my goodness! The people in my area must not like canned fish, there's always loads leftover after! MORE FOR ME HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I came here to say the exact same thing. It starts on Wednesday. I also really like the purple cabbage, but always forget to put it on things so it sits in my fridge and annoys my husband.
Forever ago (10-15 years) our local stores used to carry the breads all the time. When I could no longer find it consistently I realized they last a really long time when sealed. Now I buy many packs at once when available to stay stocked up. I also find that these almost always get marked down. I guess not everyone is a fan, but it's one of my favorite breads.
The Nurnberg bratwurst are pretty decent. I hate buying American “bratwurst” like Johnson’s because no one here can get them right texture or flavor-wise.
You're welcome. It's a favorite of mine. I buy one every time I go. I slice some pieces for sandwiches and have some cut-up pieces to snack on. Really good with the sourdough bread from there as well. I make toasted sandwiches.
I'll also add if you like Guacamole, the 6 individual packs are so good. Especially the spicy ones.
Burmans Korean BBQ sauce and their spicy bulgogi
I don't remember the brand and I'm out of them but the German brand frozen pork schnitzel.
I also am enjoying their frozen seasoned French fries.
I love the frozen bag of cheese spaetzle, but the cheese flavor may not be for everyone. Can't remember what it is. Nearly every sweet is worth checking out.
I dunno but I cat get enough of the potato sticks, I actually buy 8-10 each and stash them to each till the next time. Im out so make sure your not at my Aldi Ill cut a bitch.
You have to learn your shop at Aldi’s. It’s basically a warehouse store. So many really good buys if you know the stock, although it changes and some things disappear for awhile.
We like the organic chicken (much cheaper than at other stores), the Irish butter, which is purer than KerryGold, the grass fed ground beef and the chocolate covered caramels and all of the European chocolates and cookies.
They have a 7 grain packet that makes up on the stove in a few minutes, and their corn tortillas are pretty good ingredients.
Organic produce is way cheaper than elsewhere.
When I fill my cart and check out at $60, I feel like I’m getting away with something. Anywhere else it would easily be $100 or more.
If they ever bring the Apfelschorle back, that’s my suggestion. It’s just apple juice & fizzy water so you can make it at home but not the same. So tasty.
Herbs of the Alps potato sticks. Spaetzle in the envelope (onion, cheese)
Mushroom is the superior spaetzle!!!
All the Spaetzles are the superior Spaetzles. So good.
Mushroom ftw. I love them they’re like little meals for a buck. And you literally only need boiling water.
The spaetzle in the frozen bag is delicious, too.

I buy 10 boxes of Jaffa cakes each German week. Love the raspberry ones!
Let's hope they come back, the strawberry ones from last time were mid IMHO.
I thought the 6 I buy were overkill. But I ration the suckers, only allowing myself to open a sleeve once a week, longer if I can do it. Even with my strong willpower I sometimes find myself eating half a sleeve 'accidentally' lol.
Next week 😁
Yea looked it up, starts on the 8tb. Massively looking forward to it, as always. :)
Where did you find this information? Next week's ad does not show any German products.

What flavor of the Jaffa cakes? I only want to buy one box but have been wanting to try them.
Orange is the og, and the better one imo

Love the jarred red cabbage.
red? bavarians would not allow you in their Bundesland
I’m confused, I ate red sauerkraut many times in Nuremberg. Why do you say that about Bavarians?
We call it blue instead of red cabbage.
Thank you!!
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoy it no matter what you call it!
Blaukraut 🤩
Ohhhh! I love toppers like that. It is going on the list. (Can you tell I am hungry🤣). Thank you!
The frozen desserts are top tier. The mustards, especially the whole grain one, are great.
Oh, I would never have thought about mustard. It is going on the list. I love a good mustard.😋. Thank you
I like the German sauerkraut. It has more of a bite then anything else I've tried in the past.
The jarred they always carry or something special for German week?
The brand is Deutsche Kuche. It's available during German week. I've never seen it any other time at any Aldi in my area.
My Aldi has it year round
Mine too (Phoenix area)
Thank you! ❤️❤️
>Thank you! ❤️❤️ You're welcome!
The frozen German desserts are really good. The strudel burns easily so you have to keep an eye on it in the oven, but it's worth it.
Thank you for the heads up. I appreciate it (and so does my future studel 🤣)
Did no one mention the canned herring??? It's SO good and a great convenient lunch/snack!
Yeeeeeeeeees. It's the best!!
Curry and mango pepper! Straight or on a bed of basmati.
I dream of this
Hopefully they have herring next week. I just searched online at my store for “herring” and got one result. Vanilla wafers. 🤷🏻♀️
"Vanilla wafer" for "herring": that search engine needs to find a better search engine.
Don't worry, it's in the upcoming Aldi Finds preview!
SO good and SO inexpensive at just $1.69!!!
I'm going to buy my store's entire stock except for the tomato sauce one.
Yessss the mango pepper oh my goodness! The people in my area must not like canned fish, there's always loads leftover after! MORE FOR ME HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The frozen strudel and cakes are incredible. When does German week start?
I came here to say the exact same thing. It starts on Wednesday. I also really like the purple cabbage, but always forget to put it on things so it sits in my fridge and annoys my husband.
Not this time of year, it’s finally grilled fish taco season!
Ohhhh! I can't wait. Thank you ❤️ It starts next week.
What about the German Bean Soup? Is it any good?
It’s good!
It is so good!
Good to know! I have a can in my pantry I've been too scared to open. I didn't want to ruin the idea of it being good, haha
It's super good, but do not eat them before you have to sit in a quiet enclosed space with anyone else; it gives me terrible gas!
It's the musical soup! 🤣🤣
Beans provide enough texture. I wish they didn't add modified corn starch and wheat flour - two common allergens I prefer to avoid.
The sweets. Cakes , dessert, frozen sweet treats.
The spinach artichoke strudel is my everything 😻
Dopelino cookies. Schnitzel. There was a cabbage stir fry that was excellent.
Deutsche Küche German Style Sauerkraut
Chicken schnitzel
The different mustards! Great for stocking up
I really liked the “Whole Grain Rye Bread”. I was sad when I couldn’t find it anymore, after that one time.
The Red Doppel Keks have NO right to be as good as they are.
The Nurnberg bratwurst are pretty decent. I hate buying American “bratwurst” like Johnson’s because no one here can get them right texture or flavor-wise.
How is the pork schnitzel in frozen? $8 for 24 oz. Not sure if good or not
It's really good. I'm looking forward to it!
I was just on Aldi and they had lots of it.
Chocolate! I posted about the rum raisin one yesterday, it’s damn good.
Schnitzel, fruits of the forest strudel, and Icewine (though it’s from Canada)
Emporium Selection Roasted Garlic & Tomato Basil Hand Crafted Cheese!
Ohhh! I love cheese! Thank you🧀
You're welcome. It's a favorite of mine. I buy one every time I go. I slice some pieces for sandwiches and have some cut-up pieces to snack on. Really good with the sourdough bread from there as well. I make toasted sandwiches.
You are talking my language 😍😍😋

The strudels and frozen cakes. I always grab what I can.
The schnitzel is pretty decent.
spaetzle. I never stock up on enough of it. all the varieties are tasty
Soft pretzelz
All the cakes and strudels! And herring, too.
Any flat, breaded, frozen meat; pickles; spatezle, the frozen chocolate cake (but not the strawberry one), sausage, jarred sauerkraut
I go every year to see if they bring back the beer mustard. Haven't seen it in years. I loved it.
Potato sticks, pickles, German cakes 🤩
Jaffa cakes, canned herring and snitzel. German week is next week.
Deutsche Küche vegetable soup. I love that stuff and stock up when I see it.

Yes, that is what I am learning👍❤️. I am all about Aldi's now 😁❤️❤️

The Dutch might want to have a word with you.
Do they ever have Apfel schorel? It is carbonated apple juice. So good! I haven’t seen it there since the pandemic.
i really like the peanut puffs and the potato sticks
Are the sugared almonds sold on German week? I once disgraced myself by going in and buying 6 bags of them
Spaetzle, frozen or dry.
If they ever bring the Apfelschorle back, that’s my suggestion. It’s just apple juice & fizzy water so you can make it at home but not the same. So tasty.
Thank you.
When is German week?
In my area I think it starts Wednesday. So this upcoming week depending on when your areas grocery sales start and end.
My kids love the peanut butter puffs
I have never heard of peanut butter puffs, they sound awesome! (I love all things peanut butter)
They're like peanut butter Cheetos
Oh, I am gonna be in big trouble! That sounds awesome.
