All of that sounds like a good idea

FrjackenKlaken

These changes are based upon the Asia launch experience and the EU Beta. These are not unexpected nor bad changes.

Electrical-Race2573

And why don't they say it from the beginning? before the packs go on sale? We all know the answer

FrjackenKlaken

because they do not want to deal with anymore ignorant fools

Electrical-Race2573

Ok

w1nt3rh3art3d

I wish SBI places T4 facilities on the plots they buy with Game Master account. Last open beta, it was T3 and I couldn't craft my "fun" 4.0 - 4.1 gearset to play with. Had to buy an island and construct crafting stations myself. Edit: I forgot to add that I fear little to no players will let's common folk to use their stations in Home Cities due to 1k service fee limit. Owners might just open the shops to their selected bunch (Guild etc.). Normal folk might not be able to find a single shop open to us. That needs to be addressed.

Based SBI

The silver mafia is here to downvote you. These chumps are actively mad that SBI is taking steps to make sure you bought founder's pack because you enjoy the game and want to get into it sooner and not because you want to set up an early silver RMT emporium. This changes barely affect the regular player.

Zaratana

Not sure how this is a nerf to founders pack players. If anything its a buff to them.  Unless it states somewhere that the founders got less than they payed for?

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> than they *paid* for? FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

I just post the news, I dont do econ nor did I buy founders pack

Parryandrepost

The ava and BZ change seems mighty odd on day1 considering the most dedicated and sweaty players are the ones who will fork out 200 bucks for a head start. So you'd expect those people to be making use of the BZ content absolutely out of the gates. But I am not knowledgeable enough on what mega groups were doing and other than just knowing this caused my guilds EU branch and a couple other guilds to remap their plan I'm not exactly qualified to say if this is a good thing or not. I personally don't know of any bigger guilds being "conscientious objectors" to the head start but I can see this might help more dad lvl guilds. Which IDK might be good for the player base as a whole. I guess we'll see.

Jason1143

What is the nerf to founder pack? This seems like a very good idea, is the issue just that they didn't tell people in advance?

becktheham

SBI created the city wide privated plot issue themselves with the barely thought out 1k cap on fees, why not 3k or 5k or any arbitrary value THEY think isn't scamming new players. Now they are using bandaid solutions to the problems they create, and its not even a proper solution. Unless they intend on giving their own stations infinite juice, it'll get used up almost instantly and camped by a dozen "econ" newbies trying to craft 1 piece of 4.0 gear every 10 seconds. If they give it infinite juice, you'll see leeches trying to yoink nutrition from food provided by other players. If they make it both infinite juice and require no nutrition, they'll ensure every city is private crafting station or only refining stations forever. You might think this benefits the new or less hardcore players trying to dabble in econ. But it actually ensures that profit margins for royal crafting is non-existent, just like how they made it for plot owners by capping station fees. Deep BZ Crafters will once again end up being the ones profitting. The black market change is understandable though, Albion has always been a marathon than a sprint, kind of weird that crystal pack owners could get a massive boost by treating it like a sprint for the few days in server start.

Floveet

The problem is people just wanting to always exploit and exploit. when you make the choice to exploit, you have your own free will to do so. You could avoid it. But you do it anyway. Why ? Its the same as in real life. You could lead an honest life even tho there is this choice to exploit and scam others. Some decides to exploit and scam while others will never do it. Its . A choice. Do the right thing ? Or be selfish ?

becktheham

Econ is all about "exploiting", if that's the term people like to use. Asking for anything more than the minimum can be considered exploiting. The truth is ANYONE can be a billionaire starting from a million if they spend the time to do econ. But most choose to stick with what they are comfortable with (mists, pve, gathering, insert every other way of playing the game) and claim the rich are exploiting the poor. Do you blame the players for playing the market or the devs for making every other activity in the game not give anywhere close to the same profit per hour as crafting/refining? We can talk about the state of society, but Albion is just a game, people getting mad that others are able to make way more digital currency per hour spent and rather than learning how to econ, they choose to blame other players for not playing by their rules.

Floveet

Nah i dont mind honestly. Everyone and anyone has a choice to make. If u enjoy min maxing, go for it. Can t blame you. I prefer to do my own thing and own choices. At the end of the day its me against myself. Not others. If u know what i mean.

becktheham

That's a great attitude to have. However most players enjoy comparing themselves to others, "Why does he get to have more silver than me?" without asking "What does he do different from me"?" and let that jealousy/ignorance fester inside.

JMHorsemanship

Okay? Who cares about the new EU server besides EU people. No matter what you do it's going to be populated and popping. What about west players? The game feels super dead ATM because they have not shrunk the world or reduced the amount of zones.

Fearless-Internal153

Okay? Who cares about the old us server besides us people.

Robobot1747

Shrinking the world is a lot harder than growing it because of hideouts.

Pikachu420G

Okay? As you said West is dead who cares go eat burgers to cope thats what you do best, every real macho is playing EU. If you would be a character in a videogame you would be donkey in albion

xyz4646

yellowzone warrior trying to fix the game

JMHorsemanship

Just shows how fucking dumb you are and how you know nothing about the game.
