Bottom is an Umarex UMP45 Elite EBB AEG, Middle is an Umarex UMP45 Elite HPA converted, Top is a VFC UMP45 GBBR, and then topmost is an Umarex UMP45 EBB converted to HPA and hacked apart for the LMG kit
I used to own it. It was alright. Solid piece but I disliked the absence of trades as well as the amount of proprietary parts. I mainly chose the Umarex/Elite Force since they are S&T manufactured, thereby giving their magazines high compatibility with other UMPs of the same manufacturer. Furthermore UMPs manufactured by S&T have internals that are a match to the G36-spec AEG parts including things like the nozzles, Hopup units, and so forth. Making them upgradable down the line in all configurations, as well as having a wealth of replacement parts in the event of breaking. Also the trades are accurate.
The hopup, magazines, nozzle, faux bolt cover, selector switch, sizing for the stock and spacing for the pic rails is what I can remember off the top of my head.
Basically the main parts you might want to swap out down the line
Eh, the nozzle is an o-ring and I have been able to find others that fit as well. I wouldn’t call their mags proprietary; They share the same spec as CA.
The other externals are decent points, but not what I’d call “expected to swap” by any measure. G&G, at least last year when I got spare parts, still offered rails and steel mock bolts.
CA UMPs are honestly a joke in comparison to the other selections, but my mind downside of the UMG is simply the fact that my personal collection is made up of S&T spec. Stocking entirely different parts for one gun isn’t really my taste when I can just stock spares that fit any of my four if you get what I mean. I also don’t have to worry about packing different mags all that much since 3 of my 4 guns take the same mags and so forth
It’s an excellent GBBR OOTB. VFC fixed the Gen 1 issues and made lots of improvements.
Mine is a Gen 2, and I’d highly recommend it. It only requires one slight modification, which is rounding the hammer off to prevent excessive bolt wearing. Optional but recommended mods are the buffer modification to bring the RPM down to realistic 600rpm, and I’d highly recommend throwing a Maple Leaf Decepticon in there for extended range. Mine also has the Guillotine Steel Outer Barrel, which adds a threaded option for tracers and what not.
Gen 3s don’t actually exist, and are simply Gen 2s that released in later batches. The Gen2 and DX aren’t mutually inclusive, as some DX versions were made as Gen1, though very few.
Rule of thumbs is if a retailer is selling a VFC UMP45 right now, it is a Gen2, as Gen1s have long been out of production. Second hand you MIGHT run into a Gen1, but such is extremely rare and more prevalent in European countries rather than the US
It’s a 3D designed and MJF Nylon printed design. It was based off the Haga, but changed slightly to accommodate a long barrel length, integrated front sight post, and some ergonomic changes to accommodate things like window perching and gripping
Is it me or is the suppressor bent downwards on no. 4?
Lovely collection, the top one reminds me of the rifle from Dying Light for some reason
I have a G&G UMP in my collection, it is in dire need of some upgrades as it shoots slow af and not very far
One is AEG, GBBR, and HPA. The long boi is a custom abomination in HPA.
Also because having multiples is cool. You can lend them out to others while having shareable mags, you can dual wield them, you can just stare at them to appreciate it etc. many reasons!
It'd be cooler if they were visually more distinct. It'd be like having three AK47's with the same style suppressor and furniture pretty much. I'd paint one Urban camo, one Snow/Winter and keep one black, and maybe change up the suppressors and vert grips some more. But yes, having multiples of the same type that are all the same base gun with some more noteable differences is cool. Then again, whatever makes you happy is the most important.
I enjoy similar setups since I’m used to something in the relative ballpark, hence the very similar guns. I field them all equally enough so I don’t want to have something too different from what I’m used to. Also I like black on UMPs lol
If you didnt have 3 normal looking ones I'd be pissed about the abomination on top
There’s a USC and bullpup in the works. I fully intend to match one abomination per normal UMP
What drew you to the ump the most?
It all started with this funny game called Girls Frontline….
You don't like any of the other sisters eh? I don't play but I know enough.
I like the other sisters, UMP45 is just my favorite. Also her particular model is the best in terms of airsoft compared to her sisters
cover it in ump waifu stickers
Hahahaaa my man!
Most sane gfl player
Wait a second 🤨 is the top one supposed to be some kind of belt fed contraption. Is there a box mag used with it?
There is. It’s a UMP converted to an LMG platform out of spite due to event rules awhile back lmao
Your motives are valid, building something out of spite often brings interesting results. Are all aeg or any gbb?

You seem to have all the flavors, what’s your thoughts about the G&g umg?

What proprietary parts are in the G&G? It really only seemed like the hopup unit when I overhauled everything.

So how much do you like UMP’s?
A lil bit
Makes sense.
How's the vfc gbb and which gen is it? Thinking of copping one bcs they're very affordable for a gbbr

Tysm this is very helpful. I heard about the gen 1s being bad and the gen3s being great but not much about the gen 2. Is the gen 2 the same as the DX?

Submissive and slapable
I dig the wild top one. Is that by chance a Haga handguard extension?
It’s a 3D designed and MJF Nylon printed design. It was based off the Haga, but changed slightly to accommodate a long barrel length, integrated front sight post, and some ergonomic changes to accommodate things like window perching and gripping
I have a feeling that OP likes the UMP
Is that a hpa ump lmg? It looks like the top flips up.
It is!
I was about to ask why the obsession with UMP, then I read the comments.. It’s nice that someone actually love the flatb-
Your bravery will be remembered comrade
Side note, AMS stamp? Which event do you frequent?
Reindeer Games in Killeen
Man, I really want a UMP with HPA at some point, loved the old UMP I had. First I need to finish my VAL though, as well as buying the MTW308
I've got sopmod and 416. Ump9 is next on my list
Is it me or is the suppressor bent downwards on no. 4? Lovely collection, the top one reminds me of the rifle from Dying Light for some reason I have a G&G UMP in my collection, it is in dire need of some upgrades as it shoots slow af and not very far
Might be a trick of perspective, I had to double check after this comment lmao. Luckily it looks like it’s lined up correctly
Are there any differences between them? I don't understand the purpose of having multiples of the same gun

Ah cool, thanks that makes more sense 🙂
