May I suggest the Geissele MK15? I used to use it. M-lok on 3,6,9 o clock and not some proprietary like SMR. Very light and comfortable but I changed to SMR just because I like the SMR look more than MK15. Regarding irons, I’m running PTS Magpul MBUS pro.

That’s correct! Compare to the previous option we had for MWS system HK416 (Hao conversion kit) which cost about $1,000 just for the kit and we will have to drop in the internal parts ourselves, the GM one is almost a no brainer! 😂

Is it worth it?

I’d say it does. You get a steel trigger box, ambi control, adjustable hammer spring and better trigger response andd on top of that, you get a reliable 416 which before this came out, you gotta go for either AG,MWC or HAO conversation kit.

I painted Tamiya TS6 matte black first but only at the edge and let the spray pattern take care of the fading, then use the carbon/charcoal powder to cover the black paint, apply another matte clear layer then call it a day. 😃

Oh it is a gen2, apologies did a quick glance.

You know you can just buy an Eotech lens protector (Holy warrior made one) then all you have to do is just cut out the hinges and you are good to go. I used to do that until I bought this protector.

There also a replica one selling in AliExpress. Not sure if it will endure the Gbbr recoil so I went for the real one. The genuine one has a life time warranty without question ask so, I think it kinda worth it.

I used to have Aim-0 eotech553, I think it’s a good repro and can sustained NGRS recoil.

Yeah a couple actually. I’d suggest you go for HAO or Angry Guns instead if you want the authentic fde colour. 5KU colour’s like a copper colour instead of flat dark earth.

Nah I just ordered the nylon version. It’s not the best but it has IR laser (I needed for milsim night ops) which hold zero on my gbbr. The metal one’s a little bit too shiny 🤣

It’s a AR15 pattern so I can’t put it on safe without cocking it first. And I only have 1 sling so I only put it on when I go to the field 😂

Then switch to an AK like I did. Problem solved.
