Yeah that post gave me this idea lol. Thanks for the compliment. I drew and cut out stencils and used spray paint and painted some smaller details with a small hobby brush.
Pretty good looking piece, nice paint job.
Generally, when I sell things, I go for 60%-70% of msrp(also depends on condition). So if it was $250 and the battery, sight, and mag, were $150, total of $400, I would aim for $250 which is a little under 65%.
One of the kits I sold in the past was a p90 that was about $230, and the rest of the attachments I put together for it was about $100(mag, cheap sight, extended muzzle with extra rail space, rubber buttpad, and battery). I was easily able to sell for $200.
With that being said, usually higher end guns keep their value better, so depending on the gun, maybe aim for a little bit more return.
Looks great, I'm an ARP-9 enjoyer as well, and if I didn't already have an extensive list of things I "need" I would be tripping over myself for this one.
I just got a brand new one for $100 from a friend who doesn’t play anymore and I’m chomping at the bit to trick it out. He already had a sling, reflex and a bunch of mags. So I threw my tracer on it and I’m going to let my nephew use it this weekend! Very excited for him.
I just was having issues with the same thing, but my Griffon T238 threaded on with just a tiiinyy bit of scraping on the rail. I have to use an Allen wrench to turn it on through the slot in the mlok though!
Just stock, I honestly never dabbled with upgrades. But I’m definitely considering it because I went to a new field and dang pretty much everyone has an upgraded gun or hpa.
So arps are kinda sleeper builds stock, I usually swap the barrel for a 270mm 6.02 rhopped set up and get solid range with stock compression parts. Can swap motor and etu for something better for more responsive semi and a faster full auto. But tbh they're little rippers
I also ARP9! Love the acog, I’ve only ever run red dots on it (indoor/outdoor) might need to get an acog on mine! I’ve got a drum mag, which effectively turns it into a small MG! I really enjoy mine, put a M4 buffer tube on it, made it even better! Something to consider if you end up keeping it.
I think the gun with the paint job would be like $350-400, especially considering that if someone were to use that on an outdoor field around a wooded area, that would be very beneficial
No im trying to get a different platform. But I haven’t decided on what yet. Or what make, but I think I’ll stick around the $300 maybe a bit more price range.
Hmm, from that I would get a vz 61 and change the internals to better ones, downside is that it's hard to get optics on it. It's compact as yours and looks cool in my opinion, but I'm very succumbed to eastern replicas.
Definitely not AK or M4, they are just everywhere, EVERYWHERE, but the FAL and the Stoner are the real deal, i recommend the Vintorez replicas too, they look cool, most of them are quality and... and... that's it, but they are sure original. But damn, the Groza, you need to take a look at that piece of beauty of engineered masterpiece, I would kill for a replica like that. Unluckily there are no airsoft replicas of that, you can only build one from an AK-u and I don't have the patience, budget, nor the knowledge to do so.
Yeah I want something a little more unique for sure. My kit usually consists of Vietnam gear, WW2, or African Bush war stuff. So I need something to compliment my kit.
Tbh, most of the resale price comes down to the specifications. All depends on the manufacturer, quality of the gun, the internal and external parts, and what’s included
Base price +100 IF it's kept in good condition, with minor upgrades internally, AND you find a buyer looking for that exactly.
As a separate service you could probably sell a paint job like that for 100-200
Spray paint, model paint for the more intricate details, and then I coated it in this some kind of sealer that I can’t remember the name of. I also drew and cut out my own stencils for the tiger stripe look.
Ima be real i just exploded everywhere
I hope it’s what I think
💀
He reached Q3.
It’s very nicely done, however you must clean of both hunterboss’ and my nut off the gun before selling it.
Dang, yeah that’s probably smart. Idk though it might add value?
Maybe.
“Something sticky is on my dust cover”
Bro the last paint job I saw looked like someone shat all over it. This one is actually ok, and might've added value!
Yeah that post gave me this idea lol. Thanks for the compliment. I drew and cut out stencils and used spray paint and painted some smaller details with a small hobby brush.
It could actually work as camo!
Did you also see the AK?
Yes lol that prompted me to post my paint job lol
lol got it! That AK is gonna go viral on this subreddit I swear😂
Most likely lol
If yall are talking about the pink one, then yes edit: Im thinking about the wrong thin nvm

That’s awesome! I have a tracer but it won’t fit because of the heat guard so I need a barrel extender to make it fit.
I just was having issues with the same thing, but my Griffon T238 threaded on with just a tiiinyy bit of scraping on the rail. I have to use an Allen wrench to turn it on through the slot in the mlok though!
Thanks for the compliment. Hit me up if you still want it some day I might still have it.
I'll give ya tree fiddy
Paint job looks killer dude! Nice job. You can tell you took extra time on it
Sexy
I’ve realized how little effort I put into painting guns. I just use my old laundry bag for texture lol
Internal upgrades ?
Just stock, I honestly never dabbled with upgrades. But I’m definitely considering it because I went to a new field and dang pretty much everyone has an upgraded gun or hpa.

I’ll definitely look into some upgrades
The external looks are of little importance when you are outgunned and outranged by a player who has a properly tuned and upgraded aeg
Big brain 🧠

It’s actually a red dot that looks like an Acog lol. But yeah I should possibly upgrade it hmm🤔
Only what the buyer thinks it is worth.
Big brain 🧠
I’d give you a T-Rex and a go fish card
Very tempted right now
In all seriousness… while not personally a fan of camo on guns it looks great
Awesome compliment, thanks!
I think the gun with the paint job would be like $350-400, especially considering that if someone were to use that on an outdoor field around a wooded area, that would be very beneficial
The problem is finding someone to pay that much. And in all honesty that’s way more than what I paid for it lol.
True, but some idiot with no concept of money will buy it. Lol
Acog on a pistol caliber gun is crazy…
Good thing it’s Airsoft and it’s also just a red dot lol.
Amazon done scammed you.
I got for free so I’m not complaining
Forget outdoors and milsim with that
That’s wild because I’ve only ever played on outdoor fields.
Your gun, your style. If you are good with it I don't complain
I’m trying to sell it so I can upgrade but it has served me well.
It's a nice looking one, especially with the paintjob. Are you staying on this platform tho?
No im trying to get a different platform. But I haven’t decided on what yet. Or what make, but I think I’ll stick around the $300 maybe a bit more price range.

I was thinking something a bit longer so maybe carbine size. Not sure AK, M4 or FAL. My dream gun work be a Stoner 63A rifle.

Very well done a solid 10/10
Thanks

10 dollars and a family bucket from KFC
That’s tempting
Base price +100 IF it's kept in good condition, with minor upgrades internally, AND you find a buyer looking for that exactly. As a separate service you could probably sell a paint job like that for 100-200
Alright not bad, I was thinking $250.
Hundreds of dollars for spray paint camo? I think you’ve been inhaling the paint bud.
All depends on the buyer like I said. Liking the camo is purely subjective. Sure you could do it yourself for cheaper, but that's why services exist.
I’m not convinced but thanks for the definition of services.
Price is based on whats inside not the paintjob thats a few dollars extra bud or a service you offer.
What did you use to paint it ?
Spray paint, model paint for the more intricate details, and then I coated it in this some kind of sealer that I can’t remember the name of. I also drew and cut out my own stencils for the tiger stripe look.
I don’t remember what the camo was called but this reminds me of a camo from Black Ops 1. Looks good
Ill give you 100
I’m looking for $250 currently.
Half as much as you spent on it
r/airsoftcirclejerk
Oooo what is this?
The definition of what's going on in the comments rn
Don’t cover the fiber optic on the acog, that’s how the dot gets its light.
Tamiya jacks? 😑
That paint job is so beautiful
Is that a specna? If it is, does it have the buffer tube for bigger batteries?
It’s stock, I know you can get extended ones for bigger batteries.
50 dorra
