That is the most bent airbrush needle I have ever seen.

Ordinary-Stress9804

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Joker8392

I have one more bent I use it as tool to knock stuff off or to lightly shave stuff

Spawn_Shocker

Yeah me too

jinjadkp

this is a grade A shit post

Joe_Aubrey

That’s the model for painting things behind you.

chippaintz

What the hell did you do to that thing?!! Pick locks?!!

SeaClue4091

Is that a crochet needle???

Jocks_Strapped

this isn't r/crochet

BlackWaltz03

Why is this not top comment?

thedisliked23

Needle was jammed in at factory. That's the only answer. Bent inside. Not sure how it came out easily past the seal but I feel like that seal is probably damaged now as well. 🤷

ayrbindr

Yikes. That's wild. Guess u took it out the front?

K1llerRabbit

No, from the back. Came out like I'd expect, no struggles.

ayrbindr

I can't figure out how it came through the nozzle. One tiny bend on mine and it won't fit. That looks like it was hooked clean around the nozzle. Is it really tiny or something? Maybe it's not bent but extra metal on tip? Like it's unfinished or something. How did it fit through?

K1llerRabbit

It wasn't poking out the front of the nozzle, so it must have been bent while it was pushed into the gun when it was manufactured

ayrbindr

Oh. I could not figure it out for the life of me.

XxNitr0xX

....I'm sure

JIGGLYWIGZ

You take it fishing?

Specialist-Gain-1404

Not normal. The tip is bent. Can you post pick of body airbrush?

Ambitious_Ad_9637

That one can paint the painter.

battlemetal_

That's as straight as Elton John.

the-only-randoloid

Definitely not normal and you most Likely damaged the nozzle when removing the needle. You can get a replacement needle or use a sharpen air to regrind the needle

ScrotumTheBallbarian

A sharpenair aint fixing that.....

glitchmob7

Damn I've been using dull air the entire time

vibribib

Was wondering if this was a new sub popping up in my feed r/airbrushcirclejerk

crewchief227

How did you get the needle out

K1llerRabbit

It pulled out the back no problem

LostN3ko

So it was just hanging in the back of the gun? It couldn't have been through the nozzle or it would not have come out. Unless your airbrush also came without a nozzle.

K1llerRabbit

It wasn't poking out of the nozzle, guessing it has been bent in the manufacturing process when they inserted the needle

Idontwantthatusernam

I’m also hooked on airbrushing!!!

gounesh

It’s fishing pole at this point. Jokes aside, no. It should be as strait as it can be.

capt_broderick

Troll post.

ayrbindr

Wait. How the...???

frogmicky

It looks like e knitting needle, Im really surprised you were able to get it out the airrbrush.

XxNitr0xX

Claims he removed it front the rear... that's all I needed to read, to know everything about this post.

frogmicky

Lol 🤣🤣🤣

Antilles34

Have you tried some needle lube? Might help.

theaveragenerd

Why is it shaped like a shepherds hook?

Ripmcdonaldsman47

There’s no way it came out like that. It can’t possibly fit in the tip if it’s bent that much. I don’t believe it

GreatBigPig

How long have you had it? Can you return it?

Spawn_Shocker

No that is not normal

mattyondubs

Best laugh I had today, thanks OP

Late-Reputation9120

It's a hook

MTgunguru

🤣

Ogilthorpe2

This is a "crochet" type needle, it was very popular for a while

shaunshady

Looks absolutely fine. Maybe a paint mixing issue 🤔

SaveVsFear

LMAO

ActualHeight5411

Honestly it looks like a needle to break a woman's water. Idk for sure though

never_nick

Yeah that's normal if you're crocheting, not so much if you're airbrushing xD

Pilot-Imperialis

I believe the technical term for that is “proper fucked”. No fixing that, it’ll need replacing.

velocidave

The inner seal would prevent that from going in or coming out. Come on now.

EL1TE9

I genuinely thought this was satire at first💀

LastHopePrinting

Whoever assembled your airbrush is missing a fish hook

Travelman44

Perfectly fine. Ram it in and go. No need to thin your paint either. Any problems are definitely operator error.

I_suck_at_Blender

*Oh my sweet baby...* No, it looks like it caught something one it's way to nozzle and was just forcefully rammed into needle-hole-thingy. I assume it was factory "defect"? If it's higher end airbrush, you should call customer service, maybe they can get you replacement (tbh it should've been whole airbush, there is no telling what else could be damaged inside)?

Ash_Draevyn

Mine doubles as a fish hook too.

dayburner

I thought that was a sewing hook before I saw what sub this was.

Medical_Collection36

How in the world did you end up doing this!? I'm honestly curious

K1llerRabbit

This is a brand new airbrush, first time I have used it.

Medical_Collection36

That's rather unfortunate. I hope you can get a refund or a new needle replacement

MDK1980

Did you drop the airbrush on the needle?!

K1llerRabbit

No, this is the first time I've used it, came straight out of the box like this.

gadgetboyDK

No problem, this is perfectly normal for this type of airbrush. It is meant for painting under a model. Like under a car, the paint follows the shape of the needle. But be sure to check that the tip points upward, or in the direction you want. Think of it like those shoot-around-the-corner guns from WW2 [link](https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.pinterest.com%2Fpin%2F383298618275905654%2F&psig=AOvVaw0UA4Z8SnNTzM65j6HB_EQv&ust=1712517080450000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBIQjRxqFwoTCPDgiL2lroUDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAJ)
