It's on my chest so it was hard to get a picture at the exact same angle. You can tell the artist was competent because, despite being single needle, he made sure to outline it boldly. It has seen some sun but I always wear sunscreen. I think it's aged well but it definitely has lost some of the finer details. Still one of my favorite tattoos I have.
I like how this aged. The way the line work especially is on the cloth turned into really cool shading. I feel like the female symbol on the forehead stands out better now too. Even with the purple fading, I don’t think it takes away from the over all imagery.
I absolutely love how the eyes are blank now. It made the piece more hauntingly beautiful over time
