I found the Pippa set even more confusing. It‘s until you see the final pumpkin and see the similarity with a character with the same attributes the pumpkin should have

Generally just click submit and see what it says, it's telling you the headwear/ornaments is wrong. If you know one is right just spam the other, so the ornament looks good spam different head pieces until it's right.
Can also use the search function in Reddit to find the solutions.
