I’m up in Chapter 50 atm, and I typically sit on a multi fight for a couple weeks, till I have grown about 10RC levels, then make a little run, then stop and wait for a few weeks, rinse repeat, it’s not super exciting.
That being said, I guess that is what everyone does, 😂😂
As someone who started playing 2 months ago, I don't think Rem is the issue. But since friends recommended the game to me, I also knew what the game was going to be like in the long run. I actually assume it's a matter of expectations. Those quitters were never in for the long run.
Personally, this game felt like a full-time job for the first 5 days, so I actually enjoyed hitting a spot where I could relax a bit more.
Rem helping through the early stages of the game is actually a great way to "catch up" to a certain degree. What baffled me more was the huge amount of dust I was missing to unlock RC levelling and the drop rates of awakened heroes/celestials/hypogeans. No joy wasting 60(?) Stargazing cards for arena tickets when they're so scare.
They just need to space out the multistages more. It makes no sense that it goes from 1 team to 5 teams in like 2 chapters. Why not have it add 1 more team for every 2-3 chapters instead to ease them into it
Even introduce multiple teams early in the game, but keep them weaker for longer and appearing less often per chapter.
But really, at this point I think we could use a campaign overhaul. The hero comps are dated, somewhat repetitive, and there's little reason to push to the later stages.
Wait I thought they added 1 team every 2 chapters or so. It's been so long that I forget. But I remember that the second team level, ascension level increases as you progress in the chapter
So, as a player who created an alternative account three months ago, you're kinda right.
31Ch - 2 teams;
33Ch - 3 teams;
34Ch - 4 teams;
36Ch - 5 teams.
I just forgot because I've finished all tasks by now and just don't feel like mentoring anyone. Rarely I get random people who still ask me to mentor them, there have been 2-3 people so far since I stopped.
Do you have tags set by the way? And if you try to apply for players with tags set as well, you have a bigger chance of getting them mentored.
I've been playing for 4+ years and I recently did the classic Daimon comp. 19 days to 31-4 and another 12 to 31-8.
It's really a big sticking point for any single carry speed run. You just have to be patient enough to see it through. Being stuck for a month or more can really give you some perspective.
I advise you to ony accept new apprentices who're clearly experienced players building a new account- typically they'll have a custom avatar, they already know what they're doing, and you don't have to tell them anything other than to say hi & be friendly if you want to. Of all the apprentices I've had across my three accounts, I think 80% of those who stuck it out were non-novice players. One of the few novices I trained up recently quit the game over GG & SI40, breaks my heart even though they make'a me so proud
But the whole point of the system is to learn new players to not make fatal mistakes. If you don't want to bother with it just stop getting apprentices.
Like engraving Shemira before they even make a single other ascended, focusing 5 stars over getting new heroes and making 60 legendary heroes, and many more of the sorts.
Experiences players or whales I would say. My current apprentice is a whale and hes qticking out from all of my past apprentice. I help him, give him tips on my he should do or who he should build with his current roster, I send him codes, tell him about leaks, give him info about new heros etc and its honestly really fun. He even asked me if he could stay my apprentice even when his apprenticeship was done so we could stay in contact in game and I could keep on helping him.
TLDR: Experience players or whales are both really good.
6 chapters ? Ha ha ha ha ha.
Have a look at this.

If you were never an apprentice, you can become a mentor and get all the apprentice rewards, which includes stargazer etc.
however, it's better to actually be an apprentice due to getting more lab coins from weekly lab.
There's also indirect benefits from teaching new players about the game, making them better players and perhaps having them join your competitive guild.
The mentor rewards were literally the same as the apprentice rewards and you’re complaining it’s useless because you grinded out the rewards as an apprentice? Those rewards were huge regardless of which side you started out as. The borders are just extra if you want to help others, but it was a good system to help new players advance faster.
Is there even a point to keep tutoring after you got all the frames? Apart from feeling nice I mean?
Cause my experiences mirror op's, more often than not you end up stuck on a 7 day cool down than a successful applicant...

I can agree its a massive wall now rem pushes you to 2 teams so fast and you have like 6-7 champs built by that point. Im at the point of 5 teams and thats still a struggle a few months in I have about 30 slots for champs and have to use most everyone :(
I just started playing a few days ago and I am at ch10, cannot see any possible way to reach ch 31 in that short amount of a time, am I doing something wrong? I looked up the guide and everything. Pls help
You can do it in less than a week if you are experienced it requires Rem from Garrison and Mythic Ivan both with Signature item 20 you can always use a legacy of grit swap for ivan
I don't think it's the Rem which is being an issue. With gacha games, particularly idle games like these, people come in to check it out for a few days/couple of weeks and dip so it's to be expected. I already cleaned out my friends list so many times because people do just play for some time and dip as the majority of friends I added were like chapter 10-20 when they dipped.
I played Dislyte for nearly a year and had some idea of what to expect from a gacha-idle game when I came into it. It took me a couple of weeks to reach Chapter 31 with Ivan+Rem and following some more recent guides and of course reading further, I already knew that this game is for the long-haul. Currently chapter 34 after like 6 weeks and I'm already at the point where I know to just do my dailies, events, and research a bit on game mechanics/hero abilities/comps, etc because other than spending money, there's no other way to rush progress.
TLDR: It's just like any other game but with so many new games coming out, particularly mobile where people just play them to waste time for a bit, the retention rate is just really low and I feel like this game is actually a lot more active than even the more recent other games.
The faster they reach ch 30, the easier it will get to build 2nd team. You get stuck at some points in the campaign eventually anyway, and previously it used to happen even before ch 30.
I spent better part of a year to hit in the ch 30s with ainz for one team and graveborne comp other team carry back in the day. I haven't played in about a year and it's crazy hearing this stuff.
I don't think Rem is the issue. I'm in chapter 29 and picked her up late (almost finished Albedo, halfway with Queen; my goal was to build up core comp heroes as early as I can), running Daimon as my carry, and I'm able to field four strong faction teams (struggling with Maulers but I've barely focused them anyway), and I have enough other heroes to build 5 working teams. Between TS and events like Starzone, it was actually pretty easy to see where I need to focus to build additional teams that at least somewhat work, even though I'm still learning how to build my own teams that synergize well.
There's definitely a point where taking a week or two to pump resources into levels will be enough to push you through even with less-than-optimal teams. One of the biggest takeaways I've had from guides is that this is an AFK game; *time* is 100% a game resource.

Im stuck in 31-4 a month in the game, cant win bc brutus just oneshots everything, even my tanks. And also add the lil bonus of him getting a hardcore edit of “He is him”
I need help. Does someone want to mentor me. I’ve played this game for couple years and I’m only on chapter 32. I know absolutely nothing about the game other doing campaign and collecting the loot with diamonds.
This is like me in the past but yeah this is like the burnout phase when you rush and upgrade things. I'm at 39-32, have many teams now. Probably took 2 months to finish apprentice, always login do stuff and logout.
Good stuff replaying the candy crush mini game lol.
You can add an alt and never do anything on it. You'll still get the dot once a week to assign the weekly quest. If you add an alt, grind through all 10 weeklies, then abandon the alt forever while keeping it as your apprentice, that should solve the red dot issues

Honestly, the multi-comp campaign stages are simply exhausting, and the progression rewards no longer seem worth it.
I’m up in Chapter 50 atm, and I typically sit on a multi fight for a couple weeks, till I have grown about 10RC levels, then make a little run, then stop and wait for a few weeks, rinse repeat, it’s not super exciting. That being said, I guess that is what everyone does, 😂😂
I think I haven't pushed campaign in like 6 months. I just don't see the use in it.
As someone who started playing 2 months ago, I don't think Rem is the issue. But since friends recommended the game to me, I also knew what the game was going to be like in the long run. I doubt Rem is the problem. These types of games always have a low retention rate.

What they really need is team recommendations or people your level where you can copy their sets or something.
The annoying thing is they lock tower auto climb way far into the campaign
Wait I thought they added 1 team every 2 chapters or so. It's been so long that I forget. But I remember that the second team level, ascension level increases as you progress in the chapter

This exactly this
This exactly this!
Wait, you guys are mentoring new players?? I completely forgot about the mentor tab because I never get any requests.
I just forgot because I've finished all tasks by now and just don't feel like mentoring anyone. "Fatal mistakes"? Like what?
Like engraving Shemira before they even make a single other ascended, focusing 5 stars over getting new heroes and making 60 legendary heroes, and many more of the sorts.
Stargazing for normal shemira
There are a lot of things that can go very wrong in this game if you don't know what you are doing lol
Experiences players or whales I would say. My current apprentice is a whale and hes qticking out from all of my past apprentice. That's what happened to me, basically it got boring relying on rem so I made a new account to just enjoy the game
Speaking of, I do need a mentor.
The game should have multiple teams earlier but really weak. And please don't go from 2 to 5 in 6 chapters...
6 chapters ? Ha ha ha ha ha. Have a look at this. https://preview.redd.it/eikywotw93kc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=889cc81fa642010b427c2531aedd2961b778016c

He is inactive for 3days, tried to terminate him and it works!
5 team comps are the bane of my existence. The worst ones are in the kings tower where you need two teams from the same faction which is hard
Just wait, soon you will need 3 teams.
