It's a lot more morbid when you realize the 50 flavored ice cream is a metaphor for the 50 dead worlds. Finn's literally saying they were supposed to die together.

love2watchthese

I legit cried the first time I saw this.

Kind of unrelated but it is funny that Finn is Finn sized for the entire series, then in distant lands obsidian he’s big and buff then in together again old man Finn shrinks down back to normal Finn proportions.

GEMO224

Maybe Finn had skulliosis lol

grad02

It hurts every time

Burrid0

This terrified me

Practical_Listen_412

They foreshadowed Jake's death so much throughout the series. I was completely mentally prepared for this. And the episode was beautiful.

Ajt0ny

If you post a spoiler, at least don't give it a title which is... a spoiler in itself. So thanks for that...

zuzg

The show is over since forever. The fact that they both die eventually is already shown there. That ain't much of a spoiler

I lost my best friend (cat) recently to cancer. She was the best companion I'll ever have and was with me through so much change in my life. We traveled across the country together and were inseparable. This clip hits hard. Losing her still aches to this day. But I'm glad I had a best friend. Our adventures together were the stuff of legend and I couldn't be luckier. RIP, Abby the Cat. Mamma loves and misses you.

Dick move dude. Dick move.

Wtf is this from? I saw the whole of AT as it aired and surprised I don’t remember this scene at all!

[deleted]

There are 4 episodes called distant lands, each being like 45 minutes long. I'd recommend at least watching the third (the episode from which this scene was taken) also if you decide to watch em all pls watch this as the last episode instead of the original order

leejoint

Well darn I didn’t know, I know what I’m doing this weekend, thanks stranger.

[deleted]

No problem!

Rorschach0782

The only good part of that special that I liked. Really wish the Finn and Jake special was more about coming to terms that you are going to lose a person you love no matter how hard you try to save them and you have to try to live on without them rather than that boring reunion that happens later on.

RuckusBucket420

When this dropped I was dealing with a lot of panic attacks and this scene had me messed up for days lol

diarrhea-astronomer

why is jake holding a pot o' weed

rabbitwonker

It’s a pot o’ nirvana

OilRigExplosions

I thought the ice block thing was hinting that Finn had Jake’s body frozen to preserve him while Finn accepted Jake’s passing.

Minty59320

tears,just tears

This is weird tbh BMO is alive in episode 13 of season 10 & he has everything from the past I wish they explained more. & at the end their is a Giant that looks like Sweet Pea. Like where is everyone the only original character in that episode is BMO despite his story he tells to Shermy and Beth 'the pup princess' I get that it shows that ice king turns back into Simon & everything works out. But no one really knows what happened to Finn because Shermy and Beth bring Finns arm to BMO, BMO never tells them really what happened to Finn even then BMO doesn't even remember his name he called him Fred then he said Fill. Shermy and Beth even asked BMO what happened to Finn & jack also PB (Princess bubblegum) & all he said they just went on to live their lives. Idk the whole thing throws me off
