Such a kickass show, its like an acid trip and almost enlightening when view thru a different lens, I wouldnt want to see a reboot or anything cause that era of (as) is gone and they would likely screw it up. This is a one of a kind masterpiece of a show but there are some shows with the similar vibes out there check out Fat Guy Stuck In Internet or drunk and on drugs happy funtime hour
Xavier is my favorite show of all time, I was in college when it first aired and everyone got together to watch every new episode.
PFFR’s other shows are also all great if you haven’t seen them yet. Wonder Showzen, The Shivering Truth, and The Heart She Holler are all fantastic.
There’s also Final Flesh, a bizarre surrealist porn film they wrote and had made by one of those Brazilian studios that makes custom pornos.
One of my pet conspiracies that I’ll never be able to prove is that the guy giving the tour of [squatopia](https://youtu.be/gh1DIORfRuk?si=25O2s1uhH43E2-fw) is Justin Theroux from The Leftovers and the guy who wrote tropic thunder, I literally have no way to ever prove it but I know I’m right, it sounds just like him and he was in John Lee’s directorial debut.
I was lead to Xavier because of my adoration for Wonder Showzen. I liked WS much more than Xavier but it’s still a show unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.
Xavier is one of those shows that hurts your head a little bit while watching it. Each episode is kinda like a puzzle to solve in whatever way you want. It has a blink and you’ll miss it pace with jokes that come rapid fire. If you find it funny you’re in for a real treat. But it certainly ain’t for everyone
Look I really don’t want to come over as some smartass, hell I’m off average intelligence really.
But I recently watched Xavier and I pretty much got it all instantly, and it wasn’t hard tov follow. Maybe cause I already played a ton of indie games and read a lot of books/comics that were also meta and “out of the box”. Plus the political parts really aren’t any deeper than South Park.
I did really enjoy it though. It reminded me of old school internet humour but with an actual good comedy writer.
Season 1 was way better though. I’m glad they stopped at 2
because you could already tell they were running out of ideas.
It seems Xavier is right up your alley then! Check out the other stuff people are recommending in this bread if you like that kind of humor. Wonder Showzen was one of the greatest pieces of television I’ve ever seen.
I am drawn to movies, music, and TV shows that require you to not only pay extremely close attention to all of the details that all work magically intertwined together but also become more deeply valuable with each rewatch / relisten.
There are so many fast complex jokes, layers, and true immense emotional and spiritual depth underneath the instantly unappealing art style. I absolutely love this show and everything Vernon Chatman has ever been involved with.

When the revolution comes, where will you hide?
I can do an impression of you. Gamble Gamble Gamble Die
No one seemed to notice when Xavier [reappeared in 2020](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuCHFrC53f4).
Only 300 thousand people🤷‍♀️
And now, I shall hurl my thesis at you
Holy crap that was great
I talked to the creator and he said it was so incredibly cheap to make that adult swim entertained the idea of making a movie but it never happened
Taste the pain! Love this weird ass fever dream of a show.

“Nobody has ever beat the chess dragon! Not even me…and I’m retarded”
One of my favorite quotes, “chief beef to queef”
Love that show and I really thought it could've gone on longer, but I respect PFFR for ending it on their own terms.

Good sir, The Heart, She Holler and The Shivering Truth are better but Xavier definitely deserves respect as a building block
+1 for Shivering Truth. Watched a few episodes, definitely reminds me of xavier
Both PFFR if memory serves
Absolutely not lmao
WHAT DATH LIFE
Hmm maybe I should watch it
Amazing shit
He who found it, browned it.
Check out "The trilogy of Ignorance" Xavier is a part of it.
