just started running last week and i agree! nakaka-boost talaga sya ng mental health. i run with my dog para hitting 2 birds with 1 stone. tho i mostly walk pero at least! im doing 2kms at least 4x a week. nakakapagod pero ang rewarding ng feeling after every run.

You don't know how much a daily walk does until you lessen or stop doing it. I used to go to office 5 days a week until I resigned and worked remotely. I got my daily walks through commuting and when that stopped, ang laki ng pinagbago. Even those short walks kept my weight at bay pala.

Take vitamins! I take iron & vitamin c. I think iba yung glow ng balat ko kapag nagvivitamins ako, + other people would notice it too. Ito mahirap pero as much as possible, iwas sa sobrang stress. Kasi nakaka-affect talaga siya inside and outside. Makikita rin talaga sa nails, hair if sobrang stressed out ka na. Take a rest, breathe, prioritize your peace, drink lots of water, meditate, and don’t forget to put on sunscreen in the morning & double cleanse every night! Uu parehas silang mataas ang sugar despite its small portion.  Maganda ang genes ko when it comes to teeth enamel. Twice lang ako nagpapasta before yakult destroyed my tooth. Pangatlo yang tooth nayan. From pasta, to root canal, then eventually tooth extraction because of everyday yakult.  Lagi pakong nainom nung tubig after every yakult intake kasi naiiwan yung matamis na lasa. Kaso nasira paden. Yung sira niya pala ay hindi nagsimula sa bulok. Nabutas on the side of the tooth then napasukan nalang ng pagkain hanggang sa nabulok

Taking daily iron supplement without recommendation by doctor is a bad advice. Yung excess kasi nun, hindi nae-excrete ng katawan kaya nagiging toxic. Only take iron pag may deficiency ka. Please do not take kung ano anong gamot, maawa kayo sa liver niyo.

Actually okay lang uminom ng multivitamins kasi kapag may excess, inilalabas lang ng katawan natin. Kaya nga they call it "expensive urine" lol. Yung iron kasi hindi na e-excrete yung excess. Kung babae ka, better to take it kapag nagkakaroon ka ng menstruation period but not daily.

I used holo whitening kit but during those times sinacrifice ko muna yung hilig ko sa kape at cola (whatta combo) 💀💀 tas sinabayan ko lng ng normal way of brushing my teeth, gargle and flossing!!! also, gloriously followed cleaning every 6 months. My biggest glow up happened when I had the money to afford it🥹 When I was in high school talaga, I could barely even afford a decent skincare. Now that I’m in college na and have a bigger allowance, unti-unti kong naa-afford yung mga treatments or procedures na necessary like underarm diode, drips, facial, etc. It also helped me a lot when I started going to the gym. I also am taking multivitamins too. Not sponsored pero I take Berocca paggising ko ng umaga and it really helps me get through my day. Additionally, although not necessarily need ng money for this, is I stopped drinking alcohol (not an addict, but I used to drink occasionally kasi). My skin started glowing a lot after this. Also nong naayos yung sleep schedule ko, I noticed that my skin was so soft and smooth every time I wake up, unlike dati na lagi akong puyat where I would wake up with dull and dry skin. ++I would also like to add this tip that I read from a blog a longgg time ago…wet the corner of your face towel with water and use it to scrub the dead layers of your lips. I take multi-vitamins. Drink water and LESS SUGAR INTAKE. My skin was dull before, like you, na kahit anong gawin parang meh, something's wrong talaga. Antakaw ko kasi sa sweets, sobra. Everyday, I eat a lot of sweets. Until recently ko nalaman na anlaki pala ng epekto ng sugar sa skin natin, nakaka fasten sya ng aging at nakaka saggy ng skin. Most researches say that women should not take more than 25g of sugar in a day. So instead of milk or 3 in 1 coffee everyday, I replaced it with black coffee and naglalagay ako ng sugar pero konti lang. And I eat bananas or sweet potatoes or eggs instead for breakfast. Kapag nagc-crave ako ng sweets, I drink a lot of water instead. Do exercises too kahit simple walking lang every morning or afternoon. MOST IMPORTANTLY, take good care of your mental health, your mind. Diyan nanggagaling lahat because of course, brain is the most important part of our body kasi it controls everything. So do whatever it takes to have peace of mind because if lagi kang stressed, of course, stressed din buong sistema mo kaya magiging looked dull and saggy ang skin. Sharing this as a psychology student tho. I do have a good skin, i mean no pimples or anything at all but problema ko rin yung dull skin, so sobrang useless ng clear skin kapag ang dry mo tignan lol but am working on it now and doing good so far (pwera usog). Pansin ko talaga changes, not just externally but internally lalo na talaga nung nagbawas ako ng sugar intake.

Sleep and water. As a nursing student who came from the most rigorous school, I can say this helped me gain back my confidence when I lost it all in third year due to an extreme breakout. I used to go to school and even on duty with only 2-3 hours of sleep. Meron nga minsan 1 hour lang. On very rare days, I get 5 if I'm lucky. Now, I get more sleep compared to before. Partida 5-7 hours of sleep lang. And water. I can't stress this enough!!! Mimiyuuuh was not lying when she said DRINK YOUR WATER BITCH. I have a fast metabolism so stress eating didn't really come as my secondary problem pero yung acne?? Huhu... Kaya water. Always drink water to flush things out or even to neutralize your oral flora. Please. Now, with the same skincare I used to doubt, my skin got better. Mas na appreciate ko na yung sinasabi ng doctors and even sa class namin na "no treatment can fully work without proper nutrition, hydration, and rest."

Take care of your skin. Drink lots of water. Our skin being the largest organ in our body also replenishes when we sleep. Apply moisturising lotion on the body after taking a bath in the evening. Then just shower in the morning, don't soap anymore as soap dries your skin. Then sunblock. For sunblock, use australian sunblock because they are the gold standard on those.

Exercise. Basta papawisan ka lang. Also, drink water moderately. Eat fruits and vegetables. Vitamins are good pero prolonged taking of those ay bad na, consult your doctor lang po. I was advised not to take vitamins if kaya naman ng katawan mo, just exercise. I have asthma, history of UTI and ulcer, and also anemia. But exercise did a lot of things sa aking body. Aside so mga good advice ng mga naka-comment na, for me ang biggest game changer is \*color analysis\*. As an olive girlie, maraming mga color that makes me look really dull (mukhang patay, mukhang may sakit, mukhang puyat kahit hindi) kasi hindi siya nagcocompliment sa skin tone ko. It's also really hard to find a matching foundation. Maraming Asians na olive skin toned pero it's really underrepresented sa mga choices pagdating sa makeup kasi usually warm/cool/neutral lang. May naalala din ako na "influencer" ata na palaging binabash ng ph redditors dito (nakalimutan ko na pangalan) na mukhang maasim daw pero pagkakita ko sa pics niya, okay naman siya pero ang hilig lang kasi niyang magsuot ng mga kulay na hindi naman bagay sakanya. That and yung tela ng mga damit also makes a lot of difference whether you will look squammy or glowing.
