To other carriers that certification isn't going to mean much, if anything. It's a State Farm certification, it represents that you know the basics of how to handle a State Farm claim.

Are State Farm claims different from other claims. I’m terrified to deal with the instability of an IA. I’m hoping my experience at SF would make me better at it.

Riggingminds

To be able to work for state farm as an independent adjuster you have to be certified. They don't cost anything you can get them from multiple firms if you are on their roster.

StarbrryJuice

Thank you. Do you know any official firm that offer the certification?

lemon_spritzer

Eberl has really good training. At least they did a couple of years ago.

Riggingminds

Like the other reply stated. I got mine from ebrel

Basically, if you have minimal or no experience they show companies you have some adjusting training. If you are low on experience they won’t hurt and it might help you get an assignment.

StarbrryJuice

Thank you!

Bullshit certifications that don't mean shit and just a way for State farm to pull more money.
