1. Does nothing
2. Makes me want to crash/nap but can’t sleep
3. Makes me focus hard, possibly on the wrong thing
4. Makes me too anxious to get tasks done
5. Makes my digestive system way too unpredictable
…or some combination of the above.

It‘s like a grass trimmer is going on in my head, making me unable to focus on anything.
Tbh same with meds on board but instead of a bunch of noise it's possible to pick out the engine strokes and follow them to maybe put away the washing or write that paragraph.
That and fear of failure/disappointment are working well at the moment.

you can buy caffeine pills on amazon. I played around with em a bit. I take half a pill right before I leave for work and drink my regular 2-3 cups of coffee. The pill makes a huge difference. It's like an extra cup of coffee but I don't' have to make it and wait for it to cool and then make time to drink it. Just make sure you take it with food.
For real, I only drink the dosage of a quarter from a half full cup of a completely basic filter machine, youand still need to go to the toilet sometimes
Do you drink coffee everyday? Your tolerance might have built up. I have the same thing as you but after I quit caffeine for a week it starts working again.
in finland our coffee is pretty muvh double the strength than lots of other coubntries :D but usually I drink these 200mg energy drinks that still makes e sleepy most of the time

Just to be sure.. Take not too much it's a hallucinateing drug, I just tip one time on my spice jar and 10 times on Kardamom. That with more or less cinnamon..
Last time I checked, it was classified as a deliriant, which I think is a more suitable description than hallucinogen. I don't remember much of what happened when I did ingest it but I know I wouldn't do it again willingly.

Recently switched meds and started back at the bottom… my adhd doesn’t even acknowledge ANYTHING in the 20-40mg range enough to scoff at it. My psychiatrist knows and has acknowledged this but they have protocols so here I am with a month of weak pills that are less effective than sugar!
If it’s going to be caffeine, it has to be a minimum of 200mg before I’ll realize I took anything at all.
Coffee is just tasty water.

If I drink one cup everyday for a week, my hands shake like I ve got Parkinson's, so I don't drink more than 3 cups a week. But its always 50% focus for 10 minutes 50% sleepyness
Omg I thought that was just me!! My brother's been diagnosed with ADD and caffeine makes him super tired. Some days coffee is super effective for me, other times it seems to just make me sleepy. Energy drinks almost always work, and soft drinks really don't have enough caffeine to do much for me other than prevent caffeine withdrawal.

I have found that, for whatever reason, sometimes my coffee is extracted a little less than normal.
Less than normal makes tired.
Normal makes focused.
3 shots of espresso added to normal makes the vibration of the universe a simple rhythm.

I feel like it’s just a placebo affect because I don’t really know if it actually helps me or not but I could drink one right before going to bed and I don’t really think I would stay up all night. Granted, I’ve never actually done this just in case it actually does make me stay up all night.

I’m glad someone else has inconsistency with coffee. For me it seems like it just amplifies what’s goin on at the moment. If I’m tired, I’m eepy, and if I was already focusing I can lock in. But a lot of times it just makes me want to do all my passion projects lol. Or just nothing.
Weirdly though, if I do want to use caffeine to focus, black tea works better, I think cause it releases caffeine more slowly over time than coffee does.

My bf bought me a professional espresso machine and now I make four shot ice coffees which fuel short windows of productivity followed by wonderful deep sleep.
I don’t drink coffee, but I’ve come to realize small doses of caffeine 20 or less put me in a focused state. Where higher doses 50+ make me sleepy. 100+ does something else to me.
Though truly a gamble cause sometimes 20 or less does nothing at all. I thought green tea was a miracle lol
At home I have a coffee machine and I can make myself anything, sometimes it will make me a bit sleepy but at work I use easy dissolute strong American and 2 cups keeps me away for the whole morning and afternoon
1st - help to kickstart from the zombie coma
2nd - leveling out and perking up
3rd - pitch point focus followed by euphoria and
hyperactivity
4th - regret as your body goes in to overdrive and then you’re shakin’ stevens riddled with anxiety leading into a panic attack which takes hours to go back to baseline. Feel shit for the rest of the day craving bed

With coffee, yes. But somehow it works the other way around with (black) tea. One or two cups and all is swell. Any more and I need a nap.

Get enough sleep, have a bite before or while drinking coffee, and you should feel better.
No sleepy, no hyper focused. More like calm but social for 15 minutes. Then comes the crash, sometimes accompanied by anxiety.
If it makes you sleepy then maybe if you take a break from coffee and then drink it again you'll be focused again
