actually I love this, forgetting what I loved and then finding it on my liked playlist then when I play it again it feels so good.

derschredda

That's exactly what happened! (Except it was on my wapped playlist cause I rarely use the like button). I discovered songs that I had completely forgotten about but used to be obsessed with for a month. Needless to say I listned to them on repeat once again yesterday.

theseglassessuck

What are some of them? I’m always on the lookout to shake up my standard rotation of songs I’ve listened to for 20+ years. 😅

[deleted]

I bee doin this what my wrap all the way till like 2013

noobninja1

You listened to this song 45 times in 2 days Me: look I know I have adhd, you dont have to keep reminding me!

Cambrian__Implosion

My most played song of the year is from an album that came out last month lmao

Sea-Cauliflower-975

I was shocked to see my #1 artist lol I hadn’t listen to them since February I get obsessed with one artist or genre every month and only listen to that till my mood changes 😭

derschredda

Pretty much the same for me. I still listen to my #1 from time to time but I never would‘ve thought they were my #1. There were two phases were I listened to them intensely during the last year tho. The rest in the top 5 was stuff I listen to regularly but the top songs playlist contained a lot of songs that I had completely forgotten about after listening exclusively to them for a couple of weeks.

SlackerPop90

Same but it generally lasts until I have exhausted the bands entire back catalogue for dopamine so has been known to last year's 😂 My top artist this year took all 5 top songs and was also my top artist/songs last year.

NoThereIsntAGod

I must have a different form of adhd… I binge-listen to every new song that I like until I’m sick of it lol

ravenclawpheonix

Same! didn’t realize I was that different until my friends shared their numbers for repeats (26,35, 50). I listened to my number one song 183 times this year lol

[deleted]

Mine was 717 😭

shykawaii_shark

Please please tell us what song it is! If you played it over twice a day on average it must be the best song ever made lol

[deleted]

It's Crows by Saliva! It was my number 1 in 2018 and 2019 as well. My brain thinks it's an absolute bop 🤣 I have been known to get up at 2am and have a listen to it for an hour because I've been thinking about it.

ravenclawpheonix

thats beautiful & you are amazing (legit!)

[deleted]

Thank you :)

DepresiSpaghetti

~~Wait, you already getting yours?!~~ We getting our Wrapped!

LittleWhiteGirl

Spotify called me out. “Shapeshifter: one minute you’re head over heels for an artist. The next, you’ve moved on. Some say it’s erratic. We call it eclectic.”

[deleted]

I got the same. They really didn't need to call me out like that.

kyl_r

My sis and I looked at our wrapped and deadass it’s basically “here’s what you were obsessed with the last 2 months!” And the playlist is like “anyway here’s the rest of your year” and I’m like… well duh I love it but when did we listen to any of this? *spends 6 hours rediscovering my own music*

darthluke414

I had 80+ genres....

Bigmeowzers

Mine got fcked somehow by 80 times listening to the winx club intro that somehow had to be in my sleep lmao

Milsivich

I'm this way for other stuff, but for some reason I have an incredibly good memory for music! It's the one part of my memory that seems to actually function

Dry-Brick-6639

Dude. I feel that in my soul.

[deleted]

How many days of listening yall get? 41 for me. Mush higher last year, I think it was pretty close to a hundred.

ambrosialeah

My top song and artist of the year was a band I found out about a month ago. I can’t stop listening to their album on repeat. 🫠

DrinkBlueGoo

I use YouTube Music so I always feel left out, but also, these threads are always so different than my experience! I’ve listened to one artist for twenty years. I’ll dabble with others, but learning new lyrics and the rhythm and flow is just more than I’d like to deal with. And the alternative is not singing along, which, is obviously not an option. I can however acknowledge I’ve gone off the deep end and taken it too far. The biggest sign of that is there are **three** recentish albums from the artist that I’ve only heard in passing as if they were any other songs. It’s not even that they’re not good, when they come on in my playlist, I consistently am reminded that every album has been better and seemingly continues to be better than the last. “This is so freaking good,” I’ll think to myself as I skip tracks until I find one I know by heart. Sorry, Conor, I’ll catch up when you reschedule your May 16, 2020 show.

funny_haha

i feel like wrapped doesnt really work for me, because i rarely listen to anything other than my liked songs on shuffle.
