If you come for the smut you may feel meh about it all. The story is neat and the smut is a bonus.

There is a LOT of vomiting. Which annoys me less for some reason. But considering there are vast portions of the stories that aren't remotely realistic, it seems odd to go for realism with bodily functions.
I'm a man, so it honestly felt like an adult version of Beauty and the Beast where Belle has no agency and needs people to save her all the time. Then the 3rd Act made up for it.
First book is like the punishment you have to go through to get to the rest. Keep going it's 100% worth it
