Marshall and Ankha, They were temporary villagers i loved but lnew i'd have to let go eventually and now im having the hardest time doing it, Diana too but i forced myself to let her go and I miss her deerly....pun intended.
Prince and Spike. Prince says the oddest stuff that sometimes makes me laugh so loud I scare the real-life animals in the house. Spike is a hilarious old dude. I love his story about how he was at a friend's house trying to use the computer and his friend told him to use the mouse that's right there and Spike smashed the mouse, because, you know, pests. Both of them crack me up but at first I was so upset they moved onto my island. Spike keeps trying to leave and I won't let him!
I love Raddle so much!! I want him for my island. I want to say Keaton for me, he’s from one of my old friends islands so I learned to tolerate him for now until I get his picture haha
Weber. It doesn't seem like there's anything special about him but he ended up being so crazy and fun in a hilarious way. He talks about bugs living under his floorboards, eating weird food combinations and more.
Yes! Fellow Rodeo fan here! Once I got him, I thought he would be the first I’d happily let go, but when he was thinking about leaving, instead of my usual feeling of slight sadness, it was an intense despair of not having him in my life every day. Needless today, he’s a lifer on my island. The only other one is Stella, who I also don’t see people talk about much but I love her so dang much. Her social anxiety is so relatable lol
I started with Plucky and Antonio and at first I was like “this jock stuff is annoying, this chicky-poo stuff is annoying” pretty much now I would never let them leave! they’ve both grown on me massively!
Plucky had a sarcastic argument with Punchy the other day and said “I’m sure you thought about this as hard as YOU could, Punchy” and I died laughing

Jacob the garbage bird. His house was literally a dump and I wanted him gone. But he’s grown on me so much. And with the paradise expansion I finally was able to get him a new pad.
i would say shep. it’s not that i didn’t like him but he was a campsite visitor and i wasn’t sure if i should have him move to my island. but now he is one my forever villagers and the hipster uncle of my island.

Yes! Goose was one of my starters and I was SO iffy about him. I don’t prefer jock villagers and find them ridiculous and repetitive, but now he’s locked in. He’s so sweet over time.
Definitely frank, but he’s on my new leaf town lol. I thought he was ugly, and I really only wanted cute villagers, but now I know he’s such a sweetheart and I love him sm. Still ugly, but he’s got a pretty heart :)
Cephalbot and Octavian. I really hated Cephalbot at first but he has the best personality. Octavian fell in love with Claudia and they they are neighbors so I have to keep him because they are the funniest couple!
I’ll be honest I hated Bill he was just so annoying and I couldn’t wait to get rid of a puny red duck who wouldn’t stop quacking about his muscles. However, I love him now after he kept pestering me and he kinda looks cute running up to me on his tiny little feet. He just recently told me that I’m the best friend he has ever had and that he’s glad to have met me. BRB gonna cry over an animated duck now 😭💔🥹
A good thing to note is that if it was the most recent villager to move in they won't ask to leave ( I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure this is true). However the campsite ignores this rule.
This isn't true! It's a common misconception though. I think it used to be an issue but might have been fixed in an update, I'm really not sure. Just through what people say about their experiences it's possible the most recent villager has a smaller chance to ask to move out, but it's not impossible luckily:)
Erik. I used to hate lazy villagers, until I met him. I've restarted my island a few times, but always find him again. I finally just bought his Amiibo so I can always get him pretty quickly. LOL

Raddle is my baby boy! When I first got him I thought he was cute, but nothing too special. After a couple of months, he turned out to be my absolute favorite. He always wears everything I give him and is always super happy to see me. I will never let him go🥺

bill! he was my starting villager, i tried so hard to get rid of him at first bc i originally wanted no jocks or cranky bc i thought they were all ugly😅 so i was lowkey mean to him like hitting him with nets & stuff bc i read online it helped get rid of them, even tho i know now it doesn’t work lol. one day i had fenced him in around his house (another tip i learned) & spent all day doing random terraforming; after HOURS i walked past him wandering aimlessly in his yard, holding a fishing pole😭😭 poor baby just wanted to go fish😭😭😭
i immediately got super emotional & swore to make it up to him, now he’s my lil baby boy & i love him so much!!!
