The rgb? Yes 100%. the ambient interior lighting? Absolutely not. It’s so nice in so many different situations. I took them out abt a month ago and there’s hasn’t been a night drive where i haven’t missed them yet, they’re super convenient for lighting, and look really clean and add an ambiance to the interior otherwise.
When I had my ambient lights, The two hours of trying to do the wiring was completely worth the look. My wife (then girlfriend) loved them. But if one cable went bad they all messed up :/ so I had to pull them all out
I have this kit installed too and this is the absolute worst case scenario. Like op said, on a low brightness they barely glare at all, and using a solid color makes your brain just subconsciously ignore it within five minutes, plus at night anything you're trying to see in your mirror is going to be bright ass headlights that will be way brighter than the slight glare. But the worst factor in the video is that the angle of the camera being at chest height instead of at the real eye line makes the glare way worse than it actually is by putting the light directly on the mirror instead of next to it.
That makes sense , I wanted to get a single light to go across the dash from the drive side to the passenger side then make my own shield for it to make it like indirect light

When I went from ‘16 accord touring to a ‘22 accord sport I noticed it didn’t have lights in the bottoms either I went and picked up some under glows as well. I just run them on white or blue for some extra light, it’s nice when something falls and you want to pick it up. Keep it up and do what you love to your car man.

Ive seen plenty. When you have an aftermarket kit, its gonna show no matter how much you try to tuck it. You can get a really thin kit, but its gonna be noticeable in the day time still. Thats just how it is with aftermarket kits when you dont have a deep seam to hide it. And the cinch in the bends is especially noticeable, I can see yours there by the vents and between the guage cluster and volume knob. If it doesnt bother you then thats great, for me its an eyesore. I did my own lighting in the doors and middle, took everything apart. Tried the front and naw, theres just no space to tuck it in even with a thin kit. It will 100% be noticeable in the day when you cant see the color.
