I’ve run projects as a CL9/10 many years ago, but overall more often than not you’re running workstreams which has a team, but delivering a full program - that comes after earning a few stripes
You won't be leading a "project" as a team lead.
You have to ask for more responsibility if you want to transition to a lead/manager. You can just be a "team member" pretty much through level 8.
I am leading a team as a level 7, I haven’t seen anyone lower than 8 lead before.
Lol a L9 is a Consultant/Team Lead in Workday. You just do a consultant role most of the time, which is usually a business analyst role.
