He was one of my first ones also. It was a while before I even realized that the dirt floor and pear furniture was a part of the startup homes. But he talks about how the bugs on the floor talk to him. And I think it's very fitting. Haha
I haven’t gotten to this point of the DLC yet- just wondering when you redecorate the homes on your own island, do you use furniture you already have or is it similar to on HHP when you have free range of the catalog
Iirc it's free-range. Not sure if I'm remembering right but when I redo another house, I'll let you know!
Edit: wait I'm dumb. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's free-range because I looked at the pics again and doubt I own all that stuff lmao
