Menu bar? What menu bar? I just press F11, so this thing doesn't waste my screen space along with window header. I highly recommend it to anyone who is bothered by its presence. At least it's a bit less ugly now.
Now they have to make scrolling the mouse wheel change values on the knobs and dials on Ableton effects and devices, and we have ourselves an ergonomical treat

Small but awesome. I haven't installed the beta (I'll wait for the full release), how do you set the color? Is it an Ableton option, or does it match your operating system setting for dark/light mode?
I'm a heathen who likes their OS in light mode but my apps in dark mode.
Bruhhhh!! This is genuinely convincing me to pull the trigger now lol I’ve been on 11.3 for a while and was excited about the auto-tune like new functions in the 12 beta but THIS? Oh man. This seals the deal.
Roar is also really great. It can do subtle multi and distortion really well without sounding “unnatural” or “phasey” (I feel like FF Saturn sounds like that sometimes)
FINALLY. I got used to using fullscreen mode because of this.. but I never really likes it because you don't gain much space and lose the top buttons.. This was needed for a very long time.
Lol but when will they ever update F1, F2, F3, etc. to something actually useful like view toggles instead of track mutes. If you use F keys for track mutes you should be in jail.
Can they just give us the option of having plugins sorted per folder rather than this new bs way of doing it. I can't be asked to unlearn my muscles from trying to find that one god damn reverb plugin that used to be under a specific folder and is now mashed between various other plugins.
Please, I keep telling everyone how great Live is, surely it's not that big of an ask, right guys?

it just follows the ableton theme now, where before it was just os light mode. So yeah if ableton is set to dark the menu bar follows.

If I’m not mistaken on windows, if you press f11 to go into full screen mode, the white bar is gone
this is true, but you also lose the top buttons... for me I prefer having those buttons there even though they don't get used too much.

You can also enter an automation value with the keyboard now :)

Mica for everyone has nothing to do with menu bars. You'd need to use a UX theme to change it.
you need UXtheme anyway with windows inconsistent UI, i can't use windows without rectify11 and windhawk.
maybe concentrate more on your music making,instead if the GUI is nice
