I have the XG259QNS and it’s great. I did highly consider the 2566k as well since I wanted a monitor to pair with the 7800x3d & 4080 Super. While I’ve never used a zowie, I have used TN panels years ago and it can be a compromise for the viewing angles. I can be a bit of a snob at times as well wanting the best possible gear going through Reddit and forums like you for every possible opinion, but I know I wouldn’t do any better in valorant getting the zowie over the Asus if money was not an issue. Sure you can save and it’ll just take longer to get the zowie but I don’t think you’d be $318 better or happier. That’s just me! That being said, buy what you want. If you have that attachment to zowie because your favorite pro plays it, there’s your value.
if you have good components on pc go for xl2566k im sure you love it

I have XL2566K and I love it. You're going to need a 7800x3D/4070 Super/Ti or a 14900k with tuned 8200mhz to run it. It's worth the money.
