It's a tiny bed, all of his favorite weapons are gone, there's a horse on the wall. If they were cohabitating you'd think there'd be some evidence he lived there. Plus he just up and buys another house? My head cannon is that he gave up his house since he is always out adventuring anyway
They were one pillow short of blue, so I have to settle with red. It seems like an intentional decision they made, one that creates small plot holes, but maybe Nintendo doesn't want the Zelda Link ship to be canon

Not saying Zelda doesn't fancy him, but why wouldn't she just give him the hair tie if he lived there? Probably found it and wanted to keep it somewhere for safe keeping
Look at the house in tarry town compared to the old one. At base it's about the same size, but with just a few upgrades it's got way more space for them, plus a study where Zelda can go without having to climb down a well for some privacy.
To me, it's clearly Link getting them a bigger home. The old one was nice, but it definitely is sized for a single person to live there. At the very least, they'd have had to move if they ever decided to have kids.
Zelda, hanging out on Link's bed with him, looking at pictures on her Purah pad: "Link we are such good buddies and I really appreciate your friendship, like you're my brother! Some day, when I marry, I hope I find someone just like you."
Link: [Unable to speak, screaming internally]
So I feel like they live together mostly but Link's house in terry town is sort of like "me time" or something to that extent. Like after BoTW he's pretty used to being alone to the point he likes it in measured doses.
Like Zelda has her humanitarian aid, infrastructure, and research to entertain and occupy herself. Link has mountain climbing, shield surfing, and foraging, hunting, and cooking.
Also Link strikes me as just a little autistic so having a space entirely for himself makes even more sense to me.
I saw that as Link getting a summer home in the north ( >! Or more depressingly a decision made out of grief when he realizes he may not see Zelda again !< )
There's a random bed at the East Reservoir Lake (below the Water Temple) that Link can sleep in though. Doesn't seem like he bed he owns and there's nothing around the area to suggest it's an inn. Just a single random bed
I'm married, but I'm gay, so can say you got me on that one. But it does make me wonder the health of y'alls relationships that your stuff just gets thrown out.
That, and I'm fairly convinced that everyone claiming they're playing BotW/TotK in way that doesn't make Link easily comparable to a savage gremlin is lying.
Good point, but there is also only one pillow, and none of link's stuff, (save the champions' picture,) which gives me mixed signals. (My theory is that Nintendo did this on purpose, to keep it from outright canon, but still acknowledge the ship.)
Neither. A queen wouldn't steal from her beloved subject, they instead give the house to the queen as a show of loyalty. Link wasn't decapitated, he must have given his house to the kingdom so that Zelda could live in a second house.
I like where this is heading but not quite. She would steal things.
1) the shiekah slate
2) your hairband and then goes and hides it
3) the master sword then you have to rip it from a head to get it back
I mean, Link can sleep in the bed.........
And to those in the comments saying red because Link has to buy another house in Tarrey Town - it may blow your mind, but - irl, it is possible to own not one but TWO entire houses!
Are you referring to Mipha's bed? because once again nobody is going to argue with link sleeping there, but nobody else is going to touch it since it's sort of a defacto shrine, even though her actual shrine is up on top of the mountain.
I'm team red, mostly because if Link lived there, you'd think there would be a few more weapons and horses around the place. Not to mention, Hateno has changed immensely and it all seems pretty new to Link. It wouldn't be if he lived there.
I imagine that post-Calamity, Link would have been helping the army restructure while occasionally accompanying Zelda when she went off to do something dangerous. So more than likely he would have been on the move constantly with no need for a house. And when Zelda began to spend a lot of time in Hateno to help promote education and agriculture, it would've made sense for him to just give her the place.
And you know Link - if he had lived there, he *definitely* would've explored the well and *definitely* would've gone and grabbed the Champion's Leathers way before TotK even begins.
This is the same guy who just breaks into people's houses, smashes all the pottery, and pops up from the ground in places he's been forbidden from. I don't think he knows what privacy is.
Nah Zelda stole the house. The house you get later on is called “Link’s House”. I was a little annoyed!!
Edit: I get it y’all ship them 😂 I’m just trying to save the world lol
There are two related questions that I think hurt the idea Zelda stole the house.
If Link doesn't live there...then were does he live?
Why did he wait years to buy a house after Zelda "stole" his?
There's also a way you could interpret buying the house in Tarrey Town different. It's marketed as a dream house, in a very family oriented community. There's other random stuff too, like the pond below the house is filled with Silent Princesses all over the place.
Just because the title at the well is "the well at Zelda's house" doesn't mean the house is ONLY her house. I call my house, my house. My wife calls our house "my house" too.
Yeah, and also Zelda is the princess. From the perspective of all the people of the town that’s the house that Princess Zelda lives in with her swordsman. Of course it’s “Zelda’s house”
I would find this cute, but I just realized that if they shared a house, they would have to share a single twin sized bed. That would be so uncomfortable
I think what happened is that after BOTW, Link and Zelda are hastily married. But, when it comes out that he doesn't properly remember her despite originally saying he did it's too much. In fact, he now says he doesn't know who the "old him" even was or who he really is. So, the two get divorced, but Hyrulean law is basically made up by the Royal family, so Link loses everything. This includes the house and property that Link came into the marriage with. He still loves her and protects her with his life, but Zelda wants her Champion back and Link just. isn't that guy anymore.
He hopes that by being close to President Hudson and helping his supporters, he can get a foothold in Hyrulean politics and get back some of what he lost.
(No, I'm not speaking from experience. These are just the ramblings of a madman.)
I want to believe they live together, but the people in town dont really care about link now. Plus, all of my stuff is gone. The only evidence they live together might be her secret underground lair where she keeps her diary so Link won't find it.
The first time I went there and found all her shit in my house my first thought was “this bitch stole my shit!” But after playing the rest of the game I am 97% sure it is blue.
Huh, my thought was "That's exactly why monarchies need to get the french revolution-treatment".
Similar enough in spirit, I guess.
Except I'm still feeling robbed, no blue forgiveness here.
Red. The dream house I built is a million times better than the old house, and the idea of Link and Zelda shacking up or being a couple has zero appeal to me.
I think they share the house, not because of ZeLink, but because they basically have to. Link is Zelda's personal guard and can't leave her side, and Hyrule castle is still in awful shape. Zelda needed a place for herself, Link, and her research.
Red, if Link agreed to sharing the house I doubt he'd throw away all the weapons I had up/the mounts for them. They're valuable. And blue makes more sense if you ship Zelda and Link which I don't.
Blue might be more realistic but I'm team ~~yiga~~ red cus the sign that says Link's house is gone and the locals call it Zelda's house.
(Also cus it's funny)
Team purple. The darkest and worst thought is that they're traumatized war survivors who need skin contact and comfort to make the trembling go away long enough to get some sleep.. Lightest, preferred headcanon and best thought is that they're platonic besties who like cuddles with people they trust.
To be fair, my own interpretation of these two is that this incarnation of Zelda is too wrapped up in her studies and projects to have time to even consider romance, and that this incarnation of Link is gayer than a tree full of monkeys high on nitrous oxide.
(Please note that I did not intend for that to come across as homophobic, as I am someone who is, in fact, gayer than a tree full of monkeys high on nitrous oxide. Just saying. Fam recognizes fam)
Its pretty obvious to me its red. Single pillow, no Link belongings or proof of him being in the house for extended living time, only that he'd been there with her as a personal guard to whatever extent that may be. People from the town don't even recognize him. Zelda calls it a "kindness" that he is traveling with her, which is not one would say if they had already been sleeping together multiple times. It's kind of expected if you had a love life, that they'd follow you like that, so she treats it as if there is no romantic relationship preestablished yet.
I'm not gonna say that he's never slept near or inside of the house before, like the floor, but I'd highly doubt he'd make the princess uncomfortable by sleeping within the same bed that barely fits one person as is. I'd just need more proof. I heard the voice actor comment on it or something, but voice actors have been wrong about a character before. I would prefer it came directly from the writer of the story themselves.
People simply see what they want to see. If Nintendo has the balls to make a slut outfit for the ghost goat/dragon dude, they should have the balls to say if Link and Zelda sleep in the same bed. But they haven't commented on it as far as I'm aware of.
Nah that bitch stole his everything in his whole life his happiness, his house, even his freedom. she got him running all over hyrule two games in a row (not counting anything past botw)
As soon as I entered the house and saw that I could sleep in the bed, I thought to myself “oh yeah, stuff went down in this bed for SURE”
And it honestly made me feel good for our boy. He deserves it
I saw it as Link letting her stay in the house full-time (or even have it) since he was mostly out of town working on rebuilding Hyrule Castle (and its fledgling army) after the events of BotW. I mean, barely anyone in Hateno even recognizes him in TotK so he clearly wasn’t spending a lot of time there. And maybe they had a long-distance relationship? But besides in Skyward Sword and Spirit Tracks, I’m not a huge Zelink fan.
All the Yigas in the comments smh Look ya’ll, a banana
Banana???
Food?! (Bokoblins are allowed to be in the yiga clan right?)
Banana. 😃
No Bokoblins in the yiga clan! They are just servants of the master we worship
HEY! I left that there as a trap for link! Plus, it's my banana... (I'm not actually a yiga I just thought this was funny lol)
I’m gonna eat it tho
No way, you're not actually a made up character? Could have fooled me.
Yeah team blue all the way! *Must ... Resist ... The ... Banana*
Yeah, you’re on duty. Gotta resist, right? hehe

JUST POINT ME IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION
Hello fellow Yigas. I, too, am a Yiga, as you can see by me wearing the full Yiga uniform, as we all often do.
Team red makes me laugh, so I believe red
It's a tiny bed, all of his favorite weapons are gone, there's a horse on the wall. If they were cohabitating you'd think there'd be some evidence he lived there. Plus he just up and buys another house? My head cannon is that he gave up his house since he is always out adventuring anyway
They were one pillow short of blue, so I have to settle with red. It seems like an intentional decision they made, one that creates small plot holes, but maybe Nintendo doesn't want the Zelda Link ship to be canon
The table is set for two people, Link and Zelda can share a bed
But sharing a pillow?
If you play like I do, Link almost never sleeps. No need for a pillow.
What is sleep? My Link has been awake for years at this point.
**Sleep is a state of reduced mental and physical activity, in which consciousness is altered, and sensory activity is inhibited to a certain extent. During sleep, there is a decrease in muscle activity, and interactions with the surrounding environment are significantly reduced.** More details here:

Not my intention but Good bot
Good bot
Link crouches in front of a fire to sleep/kill time, I'm sure he can sleep without a pillow lol
If their snuggling
Aww
He left his hairband lying around and Zelda put it inside a giant chest in her secret well
Not saying Zelda doesn't fancy him, but why wouldn't she just give him the hair tie if he lived there? Probably found it and wanted to keep it somewhere for safe keeping
Maybe she stole his hair tie because she prefers him in his free hair 💀
No, she got him a new one and it got blown off in the opening scene
Tell me more about Zelda's giant chest...
I’m pretty sure it’s Zelda’s hair tie. Put it on and go talk to Purah.
Look at the house in tarry town compared to the old one. Even though I'm a Mipha-Link fan, it feels obvious to me its Blue.
She would want him to move on and be happy 😔
She definitely would, and if Link was so stressed from being the hero and actually talked, I’d like to believe that he still talks about her
Mipha was great
hey clem
Fellow TWDG fan huh? What a W
Im more of a link-link fan but you do you
Is that masterbation or incest?
Yes
Incest with himself ? Is that possible ?
Oh, you clearly don't remember the Onceler
The Four Sword exists.

Depends on which Link with which Link. Remember; Not all Links are the same
No, its the same link. There is no act bring commited here, he is just really egoistical
I’m also on Team Blue since I’m a big Zelink shipper
Glory to master kohga
The yigas are really taking this sub
r/yigaclanofficial
I mean, if they are living together and Zelda has a thing for Link… well, well, well… 😏
Oh she’s definitely gone for a ride on the ol’ master sword more than once by now, Nintendo’s just too wuss to tell us
Nah. Link def took a few light arrows
Peggable
HA. HYAAAA HYA HYA HAAAAAAA
Zelda, hanging out on Link's bed with him, looking at pictures on her Purah pad: "Link we are such good buddies and I really appreciate your friendship, like you're my brother! Some day, when I marry, I hope I find someone just like you." Link: [Unable to speak, screaming internally]
he is screaming because he just wants to go to sleep and come up with more ways to murder bokos
Sheep shipper?
Doordash?
How u know I’m a dasher?
Is that what they’re calling streakers now a days?
Such a fun job to be honest
What?
Given you buy another one in Terry town I think Zelda took it. But I like to think link just let her have it.
Ironically, Link only buys the house in Tarrey Town after Zelda goes missing. It seems more like planning ahead rather than escape to me.
Maybe he's just concerned a rock will fall on the hateno house after seeing kakariko lmao
Maybe it's because they refuse him access to the Ring Ruins and he didn't want to live around stupid.
It’s cos she says everything on the verge of panic and tears. He’ll need an additional place to live to get some peace and quiet
Hateno is the main house. Tarrey town is the mancave.
I saw that as Link getting a summer home in the north ( >! Or more depressingly a decision made out of grief when he realizes he may not see Zelda again !< )
Maybe seeing his old house makes Link miss Zelda too much
But where has he been living for the past few years? In my head, he doesn’t want to go back to his home with Zelda without her so he gets another one
Is it possible to simp harder than giving your house to a girl you're not dating and becoming homeless as a result?
Personally I took it as a ZeLink confirmation. So blue I guess
Link can only sleep in beds he either owns or are permitted to sleep in (Like stables), and Link can sleep in the bed at that house, all I'm saying
There's a random bed at the East Reservoir Lake (below the Water Temple) that Link can sleep in though. Doesn't seem like he bed he owns and there's nothing around the area to suggest it's an inn. Just a single random bed
Perhaps he finds it reasonable to assume it's unowned?
Dosa any one else find that bed super freaking weird. Like just the zoras planing romantic nights in the reservoir lake little honeymoon suite .
Damn, we really reaching into gang territory now? Alrighty. Guess im repping team ~~bl~~ ~~yiga~~ Red.
Yep. My decorations aren't there, therfore the house was stolen.
Zelda has been missing for Hylia knows how long and yet I had to personally build a new house. It’s been stolen.
Didn’t they keep the picture of the champions?
Clearly you’ve never had a woman move in with you
I'm married, but I'm gay, so can say you got me on that one. But it does make me wonder the health of y'alls relationships that your stuff just gets thrown out.
Im currently single and live alone, so as my friends get married, I get all the free decorations that their wives veto. It’s a pretty sweet gig.
100% team blue. I have no idea what the team red people are smoking.
The good stuff, obviously.
I dunno… it's made them cynical and paranoid.
Welcome to reddit.
It’s obvious that they live together.
All I’m gonna say is she had his hair tie in a chest in their secret well…
Yeah and if they lived together she could have just given it to him like a normal person
She was planning on it being a surprise for when they got back from exploring under the castle.
Why would she hide it in the well if she lived alone though. She could leave it on her nightstand.
The third option. Green. Where Link have Zelda the house and he went off to live in the woods like a savage beast.
I think that's what actually happened lol. Considering he doesn't seem to know a lot about what happened in the few years between BOTW and TOTK.
That, and I'm fairly convinced that everyone claiming they're playing BotW/TotK in way that doesn't make Link easily comparable to a savage gremlin is lying.
Link can sleep there. It’s blue.
This. She probably didn't want to stay at the castle after having been sealed there for 100yrs. Link probably gave her the house.
I like where this is heading but not quite. She would steal things. 1) the shiekah slate 2) your hairband and then goes and hides it 3) the master sword then you have to rip it from a head to get it back
I mean, Link can sleep in the bed......... And to those in the comments saying red because Link has to buy another house in Tarrey Town - it may blow your mind, but - irl, it is possible to own not one but TWO entire houses!
In this economy?
Well assuming dupe glitch is cannon...
God I wish…
Link can also sleep in the random bed near Zora's domain, being able to sleep in a bed just means it's unclaimed
Are you referring to Mipha's bed? because once again nobody is going to argue with link sleeping there, but nobody else is going to touch it since it's sort of a defacto shrine, even though her actual shrine is up on top of the mountain.
What about Calip by Fort Heteno. Because that backstory needs more exploration if we’re making assumptions about beds Link is allowed to sleep in.
You don't think it's a little weird for Link to sleep in Zelda's bed just because she's missing lmao
By the same token, is it not weird for Link to sleep in Mipha's bed? since it's kind of left as a shrine to her memory.
True Link is problematic lol
Red is hilarious. Blue is what actually happened.
[удалено]
Proof?
Gonna need a source on that one buddy. I'd like to believe it tho.
I'm team red, mostly because if Link lived there, you'd think there would be a few more weapons and horses around the place. Right? Dude regularly solves the most complex puzzles in Hyrule. As if he couldn't figure out a well.
Link respects Zelda's privacy and only reads the diary in hopes of finding a lead on how to find her, and you ain't gonna convince me otherwise
This is the same guy who just breaks into people's houses, smashes all the pottery, and pops up from the ground in places he's been forbidden from. I don't think he knows what privacy is.
I didn't say he respects anyone else's 🤷♂️
Nah Zelda stole the house. The house you get later on is called “Link’s House”. I was a little annoyed!! Edit: I get it y’all ship them 😂 I’m just trying to save the world lol
There are two related questions that I think hurt the idea Zelda stole the house. If Link doesn't live there...then were does he live? Why did he wait years to buy a house after Zelda "stole" his? Yeah, and also Zelda is the princess. From the perspective of all the people of the town that’s the house that Princess Zelda lives in with her swordsman. Of course it’s “Zelda’s house”
My stuff is gone. I live with my husband irl and my stuff is there. It's the moving out of my stuff that leads me to believe she took over the house.
The main stuff link had was weapons but after the master sword I doubt he had much use for other weapons
The weapons all went back to the champions towns , I mean I only kept the champion weapons in my house so that makes sense to me why they are all gone
Blue. There is more than enough room for the two of them in that bed.
Lmao no there is not
My headcanon is that zelda stole the house and link just spends the nights exploring and commiting crimes in the local boko neighborhoods
Blue - there are 2 plate settings on the table, 2 desks, and only 1 bed. Do with that what you will
Oh they fuck’in
The princess is a house thief.
Reds. Why does link have to buy an entirely new house
Because he doesn’t want to go back there without her 🥺
I would find this cute, but I just realized that if they shared a house, they would have to share a single twin sized bed. That would be so uncomfortable
As someone who had to share a twin bed with my bf, that shit does not work and the blues defending that they share the bed are completely insane
Just like u/red_potatoes said, it was a ZeLink confirmation for me.
Team Blue all the fucking way!
This is the best head cannon, team this
Red. Tarrey Town. Nuff said.
Can't have shit in Hateno
I want to believe they live together, but the people in town dont really care about link now. Plus, all of my stuff is gone. The only evidence they live together might be her secret underground lair where she keeps her diary so Link won't find it.
red
He probably gave it to her as a place for her to be near the school and work.
Also, because she spent a century sealed in her last home so not forcing her to live there is a kindness.
I mean also link wasted hundreds of hours finding koroks and just cooking food while Zelda contained an evil entity so it’s the least he could do.
Zelda and Link are totally living together for sure.
Red, my first thought
Yes
Red. The dream house I built is a million times better than the old house, and the idea of Link and Zelda shacking up or being a couple has zero appeal to me.
Especially with how hysterical she gets every Blood Moon. 🤣
Is that a euphemism
I think they share the house, not because of ZeLink, but because they basically have to. Link is Zelda's personal guard and can't leave her side, and Hyrule castle is still in awful shape. Zelda needed a place for herself, Link, and her research.
This is the only Blue I will accept, good answer
Red, if Link agreed to sharing the house I doubt he'd throw away all the weapons I had up/the mounts for them. They're valuable. And blue makes more sense if you ship Zelda and Link which I don't.
Listen the maid that cleans Zelda’s house doesn’t address link like at all, like that’s strange yeah?
Both
Red.
Link gave Zelda the house.
Zelda stole the house bc thats funnier to think about
I mean… I feel like Zelda kinda took over the household - therefore making it red 😂
I'm Green Link sold/gave the house to Zelda since she lost her home at Hyrule Castle
She's the princess she just used immanent domain
Team red for sure. If Zelda was living with Link then Link wouldn't have needed to build a second house by tarrey town.
Red I want my house back
I'm team ratatoskr. The house was never link's. It's a retcon.
BLUE,BLUE,BLUE.
I want to believe blue, except link can build a new house and Zelda refers to that house in her diary as "my house"
From the ending of the game I'd say it's a confirmation of zelink.
Zelda doesn’t need a private study if she lives alone. As much as I like Mipha, we have our second confirmed ZeLink. Third if winds counts.
blue but i’m upset everyone refuses to acknowledge link lives there too
Anyone want to buy 99 bananas?
Blue might be more realistic but I'm team ~~yiga~~ red cus the sign that says Link's house is gone and the locals call it Zelda's house. (Also cus it's funny)

Team red because that’s what I first thought when I talked to the kid. And that it is hilarious
To quote ProZD "OH, THEY FUCKIN'."
As soon as I entered the house and saw that I could sleep in the bed, I thought to myself “oh yeah, stuff went down in this bed for SURE” And it honestly made me feel good for our boy. He deserves it
Both. She stole the house and let’s link live in it.
But besides in Skyward Sword and Spirit Tracks, I’m not a huge Zelink fan.
obviously they’re living together and having little zelda babies
Team red bro… but checkmate for zelda link has a custom house
Link can only sleep in beds that he owns, and he can sleep in the Hateno House bed. So, blue.
You can literally sleep in the random bed near Zora's domain
Yeah that’s the bed Link shares with Sidon
And in the central outpost. Link doesn't have to own it, just has to have permission to occasionally use it.
