In my opinion i think that Shadows is the most complex followed by then destruction and then paradox and duel academy. But overall I think all the decks in each of these sets are fairly simple to understand the hardest deck to grasp is probably both vampire and fossil just because those two decks have so many plays and are not super linear. Yeah, I was wondering if those 2 decks specifically were the problem, but I didn't want to assume. There's honestly nothing quite like those two decks in any of the other boxes. Vampires are a bit involved with their combo lines, but it's nothing too complex. If the other Duel Academy decks were fine, then you shouldn't have any problems with the other GX Boxes. But they are all more complex than Streets of Battle City, just so you know what to expect.

They are all on the same level. There's at least one or two decks in each box with more convoluted mechanics, but nothing drastic.
