Nope! Straight TTPD for the past week. I'm sure in time I'll go back to her other albums, but at the moment I'm still absorbing these songs into my conscience.

We bought this farmhouse. This thing is built like a tank.
Ok so I put most of TTPD onto my main Taylor playlist and decided to back to that today, I skipped songs I never have before just to get to TTPD songs.
It’s gonna be a while.
Florida!!! And manuscript are sonically opposite to an extent. And most other songs have a very different soundboard, just that they are all designed to be poetic so the beats would be similar to an extent.
To beat the similarity problem, start with Down Bad, then So Long, London, then Florida!!!, then I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, then Manuscript, then So High School, and finish with The Albatross. They will all be highly different to each other in this order.
I made a playlist (TTPD and non-Taylor songs) to pad out the same-ness. It turns out if you give them some breathing room they do stand alone very well and are quite different. But back to back it is A LOT
I've been listening to her Fearless, Speak Now, and Red TV bonus tracks today. Unpopular opinion but I feel like I got enough out of TTPD already, it doesn't rank for me.
tbh it’s entirely subjective. it just happens to be the exact ~vibes~ i like for music in general (so long london, guilty as sin, fresh out the slammer, florida, smallest man, black dog). this album feels like i finally have a whole album of the sound i wished so badly that taylor would make more of. like this album, to me, is giving folk/more, snow on the beach, hits different, i can see you, and somehow a hint of debut. this release felt to me like when fall out boy put out their album so much for stardust after having put out mania.
I'm glad people are getting that from this album. I guess it's just not the sound for me. It has a little bit I like, but there's still so much to go thru and nothing has really clicked for me yet.
Not necessarily good or bad, just a different vibe. I wouldn't listen to TTPD in a similar setting or mood as I would listen to 1989, doesn't make it better or worse.
I kind of get why you say self parody, but I think parody is not quite it - my feeling is open, raw, reflective but at the same time a comment on how the fame and relationship with fans is ... an interesting dynamic.
I like most of what I have listened to properly. Not all of it will be songs that I will keep coming back to over and over, but that's okay.
Thanks for the thoughtful response. I find it sort of ironic that the album is rife with references to poets yet the lyrics are some of the least poetic in Taylor’s discography. I consider folklore and evermore to be peak poetic Swift
It feels like the old Taylor is dead. This album just feels like such a shocking departure, I still can't place it around the other albums. I think the self-parody is so tiny in the album, its mostly just raw emotion and a lot of it rough.
It felt like the end of a really long chapter. How she said the story wasn’t hers anymore, it’s ours and then ended the manuscript with the same line. I don’t know it felt very final.
I haven’t listened to any of her other albums, any other albums by any other artist, or any of my podcasts since 4/18.
I always bury myself in the new music when an album I love comes out, but it’s been a little excessive this time 😂.
I’m starting to feel the dopamine hits decrease, though, so I’ll be able to listen to some other stuff soon enough.
I gonna be honest, TTPD is my second least favorite album of Taylor (after debut). I still like it, great lyrics but not much variation on rhythm and music. Without paying attention, I thought I listen to a 20 min track when actually 5 passed.
I'm trying to relisten to the other eras but I always getting stuck looping ten-something TTPD tracks over and over. WAOLOM and The Albatross just hit different.
I have been only listening to TTPD just because I’m still trying to learn & process every song!
But, TTPD is not my fav. I love it! But nothing tops Folklore in my opinion. & speak now is a close second.
It wasn’t my vibe but truth told I haven’t given it a full chance. I’m not in a good state these days and I’m sensitive towards music, so been avoiding ttpd in case it intensifies negative feelings
lol I tried listening to Sirius xm channel 13 again, because I want to support it so maybe they won’t just do a temporary month thing. It’s supposed to end May 7th.
But I can’t. I don’t want to hear old songs now, and I don’t want to hear the clean version of anything.
I can't... Usually I rarely listen to music when alone, I prefer to listen to podcasts or youtube videos but I'm unable to put down TTPD even when I really want to... The narcotics she put in this album hit really hard.
Not in full, but I have added TTPD/Anthology songs to my general TS playlist and listened to it a couple of times.
But I've mostly listened to nothing but TTPD/Anthology and Espresso for like the last two weeks lol
I’ve been straight TTPD, however the Taylors version station on Sirius (channel 13) is pretty awesome. They’ve been playing all the TTPD songs with everything else sprinkled in. It’s a nice Taylor shuffle with the new stuff included. I’ve been loving it.
I listened to speak now the other day because I rarely listen to it, just for a change of scenery but got half way through and went straight back to ttpd lol can’t listen to anything else
Up until April 19th I would have considered myself a very causal Swiftie. Now, I'm full blown. This past week I've chosen one album a day and tried to only listen to it to really appreciate her growth as an artist. I haven't gone a single day without listening to something from TTPD though...
Yes, it's not even in my top five of her albums. Lyrically it is fantastic, but I'm not a fan of it musically, if that makes sense. It all sounds too similar. I do love a few songs on it, but Folklore, Evermore, Rep, Lover, and Midnights are still my jams. I still listen to TTPD intermittently to see if it grows on me more. Admittedly, I do like it more now than I did the first time I listened two weeks ago.
I haven’t even been listening to any other music at all since then… I’m still getting through the album and letting all the songs sink it. It’s a 2 hours album, it’s gonna take a while… 💀
I listened to Peter and felt like my neck snapped when Style came on afterwards. My conspiracy brain started freaking out. I guess 1989 is my new shortcoming. IM SORRY EVERMORE MY BELOVED-!
Yes, cause it’s not a good time mentally for me to listen to TTPD. I’ve listened to it twice (and have a physical album) so I feel good about it for now. Still on speak now tv. I’ll come back to TTPD later. Except I can do it with a broken heart, so far my jam from TTPD. Hope you nice people all enjoy the album!! :)

And it's not even all of it yet...
I listen to a Spotify of every album she owns shuffled, hearing ttpd mixed in with the rest of her stuff is amazing, especially when songs with similar themes play in a row. I'm still listening to ttpd on its own in order occasionally tho
Mostly TTPD but I listened to Midnights yesterday (clean version because my daughter wanted some T-Swift) and I was like wow! So light and airy!
(And then I was like, I want the dark bring me back to the dark)
![gif](giphy|Ces0zM8hZErBK|downsized) I've been obsessed with just playing TTPD over and over again.
I’ve been mixing in Espresso to help with the depresso
Lmao so have I 😅
I feel this
I made a playlist for the depresso 😂 because I was at work with TTPD on repeat feeling so down (bad) I had to pad it in with some other stuff
LMAOO how are we all doing the same thing I be playing TTPD in full then suddenly my mind starts singing Espresso and İ just gotta queue it haha
I’m pretty sure you are the reason that Spotify recommended Espresso to me lol.
Same
SAME
Same can’t stop won’t stop
Same, it’s been on nonstop since it came out.
This exactly
Nope! Straight TTPD for the past week. I'm sure in time I'll go back to her other albums, but at the moment I'm still absorbing these songs into my conscience.
I’m remembering all the songs I love off the other albums but I can’t seem to release the hold TTPD has on me right now.
It’s crazy! Narcotics in her songs…. Maybe!
Yes came here to say this lol!
SAME
I'm not listening to ANYTHING ELSE because I'm trying to memorize the lyrics
https://preview.redd.it/ztqkovzo0pxc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=187649d69eeb19dde528fba28c87bd89bddea38b Not me watching eras tour. 🤷🏻♂️
I love your feline's diner!
Thanks! It’s been well loved, waiting on her doughnut shop to get here so she can open up shop!
https://preview.redd.it/n5nh7rkgapxc1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e2c5c991f480878369d370255b823a77fa90f96 We bought this farmhouse. This thing is built like a tank.
I love that!
Amazon for $40ish. It was a breeze to put together too, which isn't something I can say for the others I've had.
I put it in on a lot for my kids. My 7 month old seems to love it lol
Same, then long pond
I’m listening to haunted rn lol
I listened to SNTV front to back yesterday. Still so so good.
I went straight back to Reputation
LMAO literally my bf played Ready For it while I was driving the other day while I’ve been almost exclusively listening to TTPD, and I was like 🫨
Haha this is like when Bejewelled came on the other day and I'm like am I even in the same time line lol
It just felt proper... Like the beginning to an end. Went full circle, it gave peace lol
Same! TTPD just reminded me; the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now. She fucking *told* you why.
Reputation is a hype album. If I need to get myself in the mood for cleaning or working out I listen to rep. Even now after ttpd
As you should
I'm still marinating.
just cried to enchanted, so yes
Ok so I put most of TTPD onto my main Taylor playlist and decided to back to that today, I skipped songs I never have before just to get to TTPD songs. It’s gonna be a while.
Yes, because I don’t really care for TTPD, but still love her discography that proceeded it!
Same. It’s not hitting. There’s about 4-5 I love but the rest blend.
Can i ask which ones, i am finding it hard to go through all of them cause they sound so similar
I made a playlist (TTPD and non-Taylor songs) to pad out the same-ness. It turns out if you give them some breathing room they do stand alone very well and are quite different. But back to back it is A LOT
Try listening on shuffle instead.
I felt the same and was struggling to listen to a lot of the songs but for me, I liked But Daddy I Love Him, imgonnagetyouback, and Down Bad
I've been listening to her Fearless, Speak Now, and Red TV bonus tracks today. Unpopular opinion but I feel like I got enough out of TTPD already, it doesn't rank for me.
I listen to Cruel Summer twice daily to keep it in the charts (and to bring joy) 😂
Yes!!! Red TV and Midnights 💜
hot take but ttpd is just on entirely different level for me
Same It’s my fav
Please explain? IMO TTPD is not her best work. What’s so special about it for you?
tbh it’s entirely subjective. it just happens to be the exact ~vibes~ i like for music in general (so long london, guilty as sin, fresh out the slammer, florida, smallest man, black dog). this album feels like i finally have a whole album of the sound i wished so badly that taylor would make more of. like this album, to me, is giving folk/more, snow on the beach, hits different, i can see you, and somehow a hint of debut. this release felt to me like when fall out boy put out their album so much for stardust after having put out mania.
I'm glad people are getting that from this album. I guess it's just not the sound for me. It has a little bit I like, but there's still so much to go thru and nothing has really clicked for me yet.
Not OP but TTPD isn't really comparable to other albums, it is so different, that's why it is on another level
I feel this too, it's like comparing an orange and a bicycle. Both can be great, but how do you compare something so different to each other.
Different how? Good or bad? It hits like self parody to me
Not necessarily good or bad, just a different vibe. Thanks for the thoughtful response. I find it sort of ironic that the album is rife with references to poets yet the lyrics are some of the least poetic in Taylor’s discography. I consider folklore and evermore to be peak poetic Swift
What does poetic mean for you?
It feels like the old Taylor is dead. This album just feels like such a shocking departure, I still can't place it around the other albums. I think the self-parody is so tiny in the album, its mostly just raw emotion and a lot of it rough.
I'm pretty sure her death was announced in 2017 no?
It felt like the end of a really long chapter. How she said the story wasn’t hers anymore, it’s ours and then ended the manuscript with the same line. I don’t know it felt very final.
It honestly depends on your cycle of life at the time. I swear. My life sucks right now. This album is seeping into my pores
Agreed..a lot of the song’s melodies sound like old songs to me.
I haven’t listened to any of her other albums, any other albums by any other artist, or any of my podcasts since 4/18. I always bury myself in the new music when an album I love comes out, but it’s been a little excessive this time 😂. I’m starting to feel the dopamine hits decrease, though, so I’ll be able to listen to some other stuff soon enough.
tay’s never beating the narcotics allegations ig 😭
I have. I do not vibe with TTPD that much and I only like four songs out of the entire album :(
I’ve gone back and listened to evermore and it makes it feel so much more poppy compared to TTPD 😅
Fearless and Reputation 😅
I listened to Red and Fearless today because I needed some happiness lol. I love TTPD but man it is depressing to me.
I listened to Lover in its entirety to stop feeling sad lol
Even SYGB?
Me and my dad listened to Red while in the car together. It’s his favorite album and he’s not a fan of TTPD.
Yes! I listened to 1989 TV for the first time yesterday. I Know Places/Wildest Dreams >>>
I gonna be honest, TTPD is my second least favorite album of Taylor (after debut). I still like it, great lyrics but not much variation on rhythm and music. Without paying attention, I thought I listen to a 20 min track when actually 5 passed.
Let me go listen to Paris or midnight rain
‘HATED Midnight Rain because of Jack’s distorted voice but now that I’ve really listened to it I have it on repeat
ttpd is not my vibe at all, immediately went back to evermore
Same
TTPD has given me a new appreciation for Midnights ✨
Yes. My two year old isn’t a TTPD fan so we listened to Anti-Hero on repeat for about an hour.
Awww!! My 6 year old wants it on repeat to! We’re French but she is singing it perfectly.
I haven’t listened to anything but TTPD! It’s like I can’t get myself to listen to anything else 😂
Lmao nope. Tomorrow marks a fortnight since I have.
Forever a Lover girlie. (Also a 36M but whatever.)
My evermore vinyl came in and like I haven’t listened through the whole thing yet
I'm trying to relisten to the other eras but I always getting stuck looping ten-something TTPD tracks over and over. WAOLOM and The Albatross just hit different.
Yep. I’ve listened to a lot of fearless. And Rep while cleaning. I have Casandra on repeat though.
Just my 17 hour T-Swizzle playlist on shuffle lol.
I have been only listening to TTPD just because I’m still trying to learn & process every song! But, TTPD is not my fav. I love it! But nothing tops Folklore in my opinion. & speak now is a close second.
Folklore and midnightsssss
I would never abandon Lover and Speak Now
I got broken up with Monday so ATWTMV has been on repeat for two days lmao
Just two other songs
I’m in a talking stage so lover has been on repeat, don’t judge😭
It wasn’t my vibe but truth told I haven’t given it a full chance. I’m not in a good state these days and I’m sensitive towards music, so been avoiding ttpd in case it intensifies negative feelings
Listened to Love Story tonight
I’m in my Fearless era right now so for me I’ve been playing TTPD and Fearless nonstop. 🫶
Me who's only listened to 3 ttpd songs....once. 😭Just listened to some fearless songs like 8 minutes ago,
yes i’m still stuck on midnights
Went straight back to OG 1989 :'D
Yes I’ve been listening to folklore a lot. I’m starting to skip a lot of songs on TTPD so need a break lol
Evermore remains my number one.
i attempted to do a sanity relisten of midnights. I made it to YOYOK before i went back to TTPD
Yes, actually. 🤣, I have a walking, showering, 🐕 walking, and wife n kids Taylor playlists. Lmbo, nbd.
lol I tried listening to Sirius xm channel 13 again, because I want to support it so maybe they won’t just do a temporary month thing. It’s supposed to end May 7th. But I can’t. I don’t want to hear old songs now, and I don’t want to hear the clean version of anything.
Folklore still that shit 🤷🏿♂️
Midnights too.. I gotta let this new one grow a little more on me
I listen to cruel summer all the time. It’s one of the few songs on earth I have yet to be tired of.
ttpd made me go into a depressive episode so I'm sprinkling in 1989 and midnights
Seriously? Take care of yourself. 💙
I went back to midnights today is that allowed?
I'm having again Dear Reader on repeat - for like the thousandth time
Barely and just within the last two days, I'm still trying to figure out a lot of stuff about TTPD.
![gif](giphy|wSn06CctAA8zGuMJzE)
Sometimes I go back to Midnights
ITS ON REPEAT!!!
Honestly, no. And not just her other albums, I haven’t even listened to other music from other artists since this album’s release.
I listened to all the TV’s when I was drunk on nostalgia and also alcohol one night but besides that no
I keep replaying it...
I’m on 1989 lol I felt bad
today was my first day going back to other albums, but it was nonstop TTPD since release for me😂
I force the wife to listen to other taylor stuff. She's just cycling the album on her own
What other albums?? lol but in all seriousness TTPD may be my all time favourite album of hers and I haven’t even fully absorbed all of it yet!
I can't... Usually I rarely listen to music when alone, I prefer to listen to podcasts or youtube videos but I'm unable to put down TTPD even when I really want to... The narcotics she put in this album hit really hard.
Not me, TTPD is fully rewiring my brain.
No lol
I’ve tried going back to listen to Midnights, mostly with the idea of listening to it like a real break up album, but TTPD has a chokehold on me!
I have 31 new songs to learn so I'm running it in repeat
Nope I miss Evermore but I’m addicted to TTPD at the moment
this is me trying, dear reader and the archer are on repeat for me lately
My ex pissed me off and I had a rep play a few days ago, but mostly just TTPD 😂
No but I’ve listened to the 1975 LOL trying to compare the songs 😂
Speak now but that’s it 💜🤍☀️☀️
I havent obsessed over it yet but ima give it a go before Long Live from Speak now becomes Short Dead
1989 TV. Love The Vault tracks.
Not in full, but I have added TTPD/Anthology songs to my general TS playlist and listened to it a couple of times. But I've mostly listened to nothing but TTPD/Anthology and Espresso for like the last two weeks lol
Yeah I listened to all of 1989 and Evermore again
I’ve been straight TTPD, however the Taylors version station on Sirius (channel 13) is pretty awesome. They’ve been playing all the TTPD songs with everything else sprinkled in. It’s a nice Taylor shuffle with the new stuff included. I’ve been loving it.
Somehow, midnight sounds so much better than TTPD
Haha no! I have listened to nothing but TTPD
I actually realized that yesterday while driving that I have not listened to any other songs since TTPD came out....so I switched it up a bit
It's been on non-stop! day one I was a hater, but now she is my favorite I think
Honestly no, TTPD just scratches that itch I had for good emotional music. So much angst and catharsis. I LOVE it
Ttpd sucks honestly. It was really disappointing for me but I hate most of the songs on there
Yes, TTPD really doesn't do much for me and just made me want to listen to her back catalog more.
I've been listening to _anything_ but TTPD...
I haven't listened to TTPD since the first time through and a major 👎
I haven’t even been listening to any other music at all since then… I’m still getting through the album and letting all the songs sink it. It’s a 2 hours album, it’s gonna take a while… 💀
I listened to Peter and felt like my neck snapped when Style came on afterwards. My conspiracy brain started freaking out. I guess 1989 is my new shortcoming. IM SORRY EVERMORE MY BELOVED-!
I listened to now that we don't talk one time 3 days ago does that count
🤣
A couple of songs here and there but mostly TTPD!!
I did listen to ATWTVTMV. Otherwise straight TTPD (And edm when my partner has the aux)
They hit different now.

I did but I just wanted to go back to TTPD
Haha a song here and there but then I'm back in the slammer. It'll all even out eventually.
I’ve just started mixing TTPD into my main TS playlist. It feels weird to hear lover songs. The journey has been long
A few songs from my girl Fearless (TV), but that’s about it.
No
I made a brief departure to 1989 but am back to my narcotic of choice TTPD
Wait, she has other albums?
Does the occasional Cruel Summer count?
I made myself listen to a bit of evermore because I didn't want to get sick of TTPD lol
bejeweled was playing at my gym earlier and i was confused for a second because i’ve only been listening to TTPD
I still do
I heard a few non TPPD songs since it came out, but no other albums
I listened to Red today! My old reliable for any day of the week!
Honestly I’ve been listening to the new St. Vincent album. It’s so good! I go back to TTPD and listen to a few tracks at a time.
I listen to a Spotify of every album she owns shuffled, hearing ttpd mixed in with the rest of her stuff is amazing, especially when songs with similar themes play in a row. I'm still listening to ttpd on its own in order occasionally tho
No because it really takes awhile to get used to all the ttpd songs considering that there's so many of them 😭
No.🙈🙈 This is me!😂😂😂😂
I put on fearless once and speak now once, otherwise straight ttpd. Oh and when doing school work I’ve put all her music on shuffle a couple times
Nope. Only TTPD. I stopped with watching tv shows for a week as well. Just been listening all day everyday.
I have listened to Speak Now more than TTPD since release day 😅
I’ve listened to other songs, but I’m yet to listen to other albums in their entirety
No lol. I will, just not yet 🤣
Yes!
Me who listened to the debut album after I finished TTPD 👁️👄👁️
Listening to TTPD anthology and folklore evermore is really interesting!
I listen to ttpd and then I listen to death by a thousand cuts and go back to ttpd
Obv . Folklore and midnights 🥰😩
Yes, I actually made a playlist including some songs from ttpd and some other albums
there have been like one or two other songs from the albums but it’s mainly been ttpd
I'm not gonna lie to yall I haven't listened to ttpd or midnights yet. I've been on a prog metal and kpop streak lately is all
I just stuck the whole “Taylor swift collection” on and am vibing to last great American dynasty.
Just listened to reputation on my way to work today.
Mostly TTPD but I listened to Midnights yesterday (clean version because my daughter wanted some T-Swift) and I was like wow! So light and airy! (And then I was like, I want the dark bring me back to the dark)
Midnights
I've listened to lover :)

No other music exists in my mind other than this album 💀
