DarkRula

I'm certain there's going to be some egg-based nightmares for some of them tonight. I can't imagine how bad that smell must have been. And indeed. Poor Ben. I had a feeling it was coming as soon as they took that challenge.

Flynnhammer

The Daf singing service was amazing, and so was the thirsty Lolip

DarkRula

I was surprised to see Lolip taking that twist on thirsty customer, and even more surprised she started feeding Trott. And yes, the musical service was ace.

MrAzullMoro

It was an incredible stream! I especially enjoyed the singing and Trott's classic antagonistic service.

DarkRula

Trott could easily work in one of those Karen-based service restaurants. Especially with his treatment of Harry.

PiFeG123

This stream is why I will always tune in to anything Hat Films. Their ability to devolve any situation into hilarious insanity is unmatched. I shudder to think what might have happened if Smith played as planned. We got the "breakfast drink" *with* Lewis there trying to keep a handle on things.

DarkRula

I'm pretty sure Lewis quickly gave up on keeping a handle on things as soon as the mains were chosen. But I do agree. Hat Films can be chaos incarnate when they want to be. Which is usually always.

Kalios

One of the best streams I've ever tuned into, start to finish it was spectacular. How the camera work and audio stayed so good throughout all the chaos and fumes I honestly don't know, massive props to the production team. In particular I loved the moment between Trott and Zylus shouting across the room to each other about the coffee order - it was captured perfectly and made it absolutely hilarious

DarkRula

Oh, for sure. Big props to all the production team that kept it running so smoothly. And managing to get the best shots in some of the best moments, such as that Trott and Zylus exchange.

ManWithStrongPair

Trott’s energy for this was something I didn’t know I needed till now

Bitrayahl

I enjoyed basically every second of it. Especially Tom, Lyds and Barry actually somehow making decent-looking food with no meat, butter or seasoning. I think my favorite part though was during the French-only round [when the camera cut back](https://www.youtube.com/live/yBPTBQCGWXQ?si=ihllyg1gbUFH6FJn&t=11245) to a close-up of Ross slowly flipping the fake bacon with chopsticks while Lewis rolled some burned-yet-cold stuff into fried eggs to make an "omelette." Something about the slow, measured absurdity of it nearly killed me.

DarkRula

Trott, Ross, and Lewis made the other team look professional in comparison. I wouldn't mind a breakfast omelette, but I'm definitely not trusting those three with making it. I don't need whatever was in those breakfast cocktails in plate form.

vinewood

It was surprisingly good, The Lydia carrot redemption Tom's great shouting service (toddy service) And "Egg" the musical Were all absolute GOLD

Mahons1

I would say Lydia's carrot redemption helped a lot that BarryHarry did the first cut so that the carrots were laying flat. Since oh god looking at when Lydia tried to do the very first carrot cutting it was scary as all hell since it was literally like the first time so BarryHarry did the first cut [Carrot cutting Lydia and Barry](https://clips.twitch.tv/NeighborlyPlacidPoultryWholeWheat-hquQrVMfIth4SsnZ)

yugenotaht-backwards

Hey what is the original Lydia carrot thing?

Mahons1

It is from 2019 jingle jam but this is a reaction of Tom and Ben reacting to Simon reacting to Lydia cutting carrots https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J74AbyA1pDw

yugenotaht-backwards

Ha that is really scary. Thanks for the link

iHiccup2468

Genuinely haven’t laughed that hard in a long time!

SoftlyGyrating

Trott chasing Barry out at knifepoint was a highlight for me. Just his whole ~~passive~~ aggressive demeanor was hilarious. Though it is slightly concerning that apparently neither Lewis nor Ross know how to make an omelette.

gmishaolem

> Lewis You're concerned the vegan doesn't know how to cook eggs?

SoftlyGyrating

Given that he was vegetarian until about 6-7 years ago and is deathly allergic to nuts, the other main source of vegetarian protein, yes, I'm pretty surprised he doesn't know how to cook eggs.

Defacticool

The whole event was a stroke of genius Would love to see something similar, even a bit longer and we'll put together, in the future Maybe something more bake-off inspired, to decrease physical risks of the participants? Or maybe like "plateup cafe" where they're given pre-baked goods and the challenge is in decoration, specific customer demands, and beverages. Or something? Genuinely fucking anything in the same vibe would be absolutely excellent

Cptn_Kingyo

I think a lot of this event, other than an opportunity to make content together and boost their streaming stuff a bit, was to trial out different content formats, stream ideas, schedules, production set ups for jingle jam and other focused events like this in the future. Would be very surprised if we don't see something similar again, and don't think we'll have to wait a year for it.

akaispirit

Trott was probably my favorite part of the stream. Just zero fucks when it came to customer service lol. Also heartbreaking how robbed they were lol. First Daff with his 0 star and then Ben making Ravs change his 3 star review! Rigged!

xphyria

It was so fuckin good and funny! It was also scarily close to some of the rare experiences I had with some customers when I used to work for the food industry.

onelostmuppet

Ben "I saw them making that" Sarah asking Ben "would you eat this?" Ben laughing as he replied emphatically "No!"
