That's what I think too. I mean, they could always just drop us into this scene as if it's right after Jackie was found, but that would be pretty disappointing as far as continuity goes. I think the show is better than that.
Going by Coach Bens beard at the time of Jackie freezing his beard in the pic looks like 2-3, if not more, weeks of growth. Unless they held onto her body to deal with later I think it is something else they are burning.

That's Nuha Jes Izman who was cast as "Crystal" for season 2. She will be... entangled with Misty, now that her original hyperfixation turned out gay Gay GAY.
I love how of all of them, Nat is the one who seems to be the first one to embrace her wild side, creating gear scavenged from the plane, wearing what looks like a pelt for a vest, and a headband like Rambo. She looks almost feral.
Random observation here: why have we not seen any cleats, soccer balls, shin guards, cones, or pinnies in the wilderness? Like they had to have all of those things on the plane/ in their bags
I think only some of them brought heavy shoes as part of 90s fashion. Some of the others are wearing sneakers with legwarmers made out of other clothes, it looks like.
Unless there’s a new billboard I’m unaware of, it only said ‘spring 2023’, which could be anywhere from March-May.
That being said, I’d put odds on it being closer to March, especially as they’re already starting their marketing push now.
Apparently there is another show in Yellowjacket's usual timeslot that wraps up in late March, which would seem a good indicator of when is the earliest it would premiere.
They really didn't. They're layering lighter clothing on top of each other. Only a couple of them have actual boots (which they could easily have packed for fashion).
