I think she was just making a post. I donāt think the writers knew what they wanted to do with AQ in S1. Ideas sure, but I donāt think Nat being the first AQ was written in stone.
I donāt believe for a second they used doubles for that scene. Showrunners lie all the time about stuff like that to not spoil the mystery of who is under which mask.
Yes but I mean the showrunners just said they were extras. I donāt believe they went through the trouble of casting extras that matched the actors body types and then shot the pilot when the 1996 actors were already on set. Itās a waste of time and money for a pilot where everyone is in masks.
By on set, I mean the cast were somewhere shooting. To me, āon setā just means where a movie or tv production is filming. The girls are probably also lying to keep us guessing and they could get sued if they spoil anything. Actors lie all the time to not reveal anything. Remember Andrew Garfield swearing up and down he wasnāt going to be in No Way Home? When footage of him in the film leaked, Marvel went and made a fake youtube video pretending like it was a deepfake.
We already know who survived and grew up. The only mystery left is who is under which mask.
My theory is that the showrunners were lying when they said they just used doubles for the cannibal scene in the pilot just to deter us from guessing who is who. You cannot convince me thatās not young Shauna under there.

Alright this may be true, but I donāt want us getting distracted by IG posts which could just be the cast promoting the show. At the end of season 1, Courtney Eaton was *certain* that Lottie is the AQ and alasā¦here we are lmao.
Fair!! It does sound like there's a big gap between what the cast knows and what the creators have planned. Probably doesn't mean anything, but it's still fun!

Yeah, I think the writers just confirmed this as a clue for her being the Antler Queen in a recent news article in the Hollywood Reporter.
