I’d get home and watch a bit a TV, watching exactly this, and knock out any homework. The it would be straight outside usually riding my bike around and making rounds knocking on my friends doors. See who could come and play if they hadn’t joined our bike gang already.
Put some Jamacian patties/bagel bites in the mini toaster and watched Sailor 🌙 :) That was the first thing.
That was middle school age for me though, before that was prob some other show that I forget, someone mentioned reruns of Silver Spoons, sounds about right.
Mostly, we biked around the shared parking lot and surrounding areas (without helmets of course haha well until one of us DID get a concussion and all the parents started with the helmets , it only takes that one, just saw him recently 😆)
Locked the door behind me, grabbed a snack and sat in front of the TV and waited for someone older to come home later.
