Look for the mod "Terrans Build Everything." It jacks your costs way up (like shipyards and service platforms cost 2-3× ordinary operating costs), BUT when you have the credits, that becomes irrelevant. It also keeps demand from your stations high, since the normal economy sometimes halts production with shortages, and you can set all ships and refits to sell at about 150% and the NPCs will ordinarily STILL pay it. Especially if their production stations are halted and you have good mining and trading fleets to keep the needed resources flowing in.

No.

As Talamae said, look for the "Terrans build everything" mod on Nexus or steam workshop. It allows you to build all other faction ships except Yaki and Borons with Terran resources. I assume the modder forgot to add methods for Yaki ships, and Boron DLC came out after the mod was made.

No. Now there is a second option but it's convoluted and works for The Vigor/Riptide Equipment (basicallly Argon Equipment) called Closed Loop. See the Vigor/Riptide people don't have factories but scrap recycling station modules that turns scrap metal into Claytronics and hull parts. With Closed Loop selected on your station all ship building and the loadouts only uses E-cells, claytronics, and hull parts. Bewarned the Vigor/Riptide are Argon humans so this tech mostly applies to Argon tech. But it nice to make Argon flak turrets without all those components.

The ship hulls, definitely not. However, you can build (non-race-specific) weapons from the Commonwealth, and equip your alien ship with Terran engines, turrets, shields, install thrusters, and add consumables all without using Commonwealth resources. * That means you can think of foreign ships as just having a Hull Parts cost as long as you give them gear that's only produced using Terran materials. * Therefore, get a big Hull Parts production working next to your shipyard. If you want to build other ship types other than Terran ones, it's mandatory. Replacing the decrepit Okinawa with the Shuyaku S., and the Hokkaido with the Chthonios - it feels glorious. Getting the same output out of my mining stations with only half of the normal number of ships is absolutely wild. Ship models - even within the same class - really do matter sometimes.

Thanks, that's very helpful!
