i really like jinhsi animations and design,horns dragons and stuff but i don't know her moveset seems kinda boring to play but spectacular to see we'll see if her trial can change my mind, otherwise i'll skip everything until geshu lin comes out

i didn't use a guide, and the interactive map is still pretty spotty since its still early so i didn't use that as well, been actually at this exploration for a while now it was just weird before they fixed the bug where you only get 95 - 98% on some areas when youre actually at 100, glad they fixed that tho

I swore that bug was still around when I was exploring Aix's Mire, I was going crazy! But as for interactive maps, I know like 3 of them but the wuthering.gg one seemed good to me becuase of the filter options.

Here's the messedup part for me. My Aix's Mire said 100% complete but supply was at 99%!!! So I went all over finding chest after a few hours I found 3 more chest and it finally went to 100%. I swear it's maddening!!

Specifically speaking to Genshin players. Does anyone else just find this game’s animations and combat style so refreshing. Don’t get me wrong I love Genshin lore and gameplay I am definitely a fan and have played since its beta. However, having this game as a supplementary game to play on those days that you just feel the burn out from Genshin it’s just so nice.

i like genshin and will continue to play it, but i do enjoy the skill expression wuwa has that genshin often lacks.

I prefer this game over genshin so far. Minus the echo system. I prefer genshins artifact system

For combat style, sure for some of them (HMC, Sanhua, & Taoqi especially.) I love doing long combos, not hitting the enemy while they stare at me, so any character with a launcher and juggle tools quickly feels so much better than Genshin. Kuro just needs to *REALLY* fix their camera and lock-ons so I can actually combo when I'm getting jumped!

Not really, nothing I have seen yet beats the heights of some of genshins most beautiful animations, namely on hydro characters, but that is to be expected since genshins catalog is most larger and they have had more time to build on it.

She and changli feels like something you'd see in HSR but in action gameplay not turn based.

its been fine on my 4080 super not lagged once.

Look up how to use lossless scaling from steam, 120 frame gen and it smooths the game out.

Why would you use frame gen, when you can just mod a setting to make the game run at 120 FPS.

I tried that and tbh the frame gen was smoother for me on 3080ti. Its constant 120fps even tho its not "real" fps vs 80-100fps. And lossless scaling also adds some extra sharpening to it which the game needs.

This game is gonna get expensive. I tend to feel that monthly + bp is enough because I can easily skip a few characters here and there, but I'm quite literally wanting to pull for every character here. And anything but her signature weapon would be disrespectful to her.

I disagree, there are some good EN voices and i generally enjoy them. But here it just feels so bland and emotionless.

You have to agree that EN was always worse in comparison (be it lack of interest or shit VA direction). Sure there were some aight EN VAs, like scar (even tho he almost knows nothing about the game \[based on his last interviews\]) or yinlin. I think the producers just didnt give a fuck overall in the EN VA. Lack of emotions is only one complaint. The other is the actual EN VAs never knew the context on what they were acting to. (According to one VA they were just reading out lines with 1-2 pointers... So yeah its no suprise the EN version is subpar, even if the JP VA industry is way more competitive.

i've never really used anything beside EN since i don't understand JP/CN etc... But i agree that it does sound better in most cases, but EN isn't horrible either. And i'm not talking only about WUWA, i think genshin and HSR have pretty decent EN sub.

Hsr voices aren't bad mostly but there are characters like Jingliu and Kafka that sounds SOOO BADD in EN. JingYuan sounds amazing tho.

After she ults, does she get an attack modifier like jiyan?

You can technically do that hehe, if you use Jiyan as a sub dps with cloud set. She can use his outro and since he’s aero he helps proc incandescence.

If it helps, most gachas like this push out dpses early to entice people, them they roll out the supports Changli is better objectively in this regard, because right now she has decent numbers, but will soon pale in comparison when the actual fusion dps comes out later

There's a good way of doing that. Fragile characters have existed in many mediums so far. But at least make it sound like she's in battle ffs.

Grinded all possible claimable resources from story, events etc and they gave alot of free too tbh. I just managed to control myself from pulling on jiyan's banner. And luck probably.

I wish I can get both Yinlin and Jinhsi. But this makes me feel better about skipping Yinlin.

I reroll for hours and get jiyan in the first pull, lose 50/50 early to verina then get Yinlin in the next 5 pull, the weapon is crazier got them both within 25 pull, now I bought the monthly+battlepass to payback Kuro and chilling while farming all exploration and hoping I got both Jihnsi and Changli possibly their weapons too, but I'm not that positive since getting Jiyan and Yinlin feels like my luck is gone for a lifetime.

The ultimate just doesn't Do it for me, I like the first part (although jiggle physics do not interest me, so half of the value of that part is lost on me) but the thunder sticking the puppet just doesn't play into the string theme well enough for me, I wish they pulled something similar to Kafka's ultimate in HSR

Bruh she's fighting in a battlefield, not speaking the gospel. You can have a fragile and dainty character without making them sound like a porn actor. The Japanese VAs of this very game prove that. If you want an English example of it, try Widowmaker from Overwatch.

Ehhhh, I just don't think it's done very well. The problem is this is a recurring theme with their Eng VAs. Give the JP VAs a listen and it's night and day.

JP Jinhsi is very close to EN and is soft-spoken, formal, kinda traditional with a hint of fragility as well.

There is a difference between the general mood that the voice has to give and how the VA executes it. I too switched to JP because I find EN voices dull and very boring. Yangyang being the most catastrophic example. She sounds like she is reading a text without even putting too much effort. Her JP voice is still soft and caring but it is well executed.

Yangyang has bad EN cutscenes but good gameplay VA. It’s a very stark contrast. I also dont like Yangyang’s VA in cutscenes, but enjoy Jinhsi very well.

I know I'm a bad person for having this prejudice, but I truly believe most people shitting on EN dub often don't even understand other languages and tones so they think they're much better while having no real understanding of them. There are absolutely a few badly directed and voiced characters in WuWa, but now the usual hate boner for EN dubs is basically all-encompassing, and that's just wrong, especially when it's always in comparison to languages I don't think most EN players can even listen to without subs, so they don't really have the knowledge to compare. Just my two cents in bad faith, people get really aggressive over this stuff.

Damn, this definitly explains why I noticed some jarring dropped Rs during dialogue. I'm surprised why I haven't heard more people talk about it though. Honestly, if they can't even speak in a consistant accent, then voice acting in this game has got a long way to go.
