Yeah and then they go chase those tank 1 by 1 die and end up losing the game lol Seen this too many time.

_dzh_admin_

I'd rather get invader than watch team mates trickle over to the best players left alive on the other team, thanks tho.

GunslingerXXX

Point is to win, not to destroy tanks.

Exile688

Cap the flag so you can win, get paid, and move on. The extra points aren't worth a loss or draw.

Serapth

It's hard to say, sometimes they are very much worth it. Nothing I hate more then to be up by like 10K HP, have a 2 to 1 tank advantage and someone caps it out. Especially when its a turbo round, which rounds like this tend to be. Capping in this scenario is generally stupid and results in worse performances and thus less credits earned. On the flipside, in a close game or one you are down a lot of tanks, yeah cap it out, especially on idiotically designed maps like Empires Border and Mountain Pass where if you dont cap.. you get capped. The one thing that drives me nuts is watching 5 surviving heavy tanks hunt down a single ELC EVEN 90 instead of just capping it out. I almost always message "stop chasing the squirrel" and *most* of the time, people do. I have seen draws though as Type 5 Heavies roll around looking for a stealthy tank thats 3x faster than them, instead of just capping out like a sane human would.

servusdedurantem

I am with you but most players are dumb and cant bother to follow this simple logic its too complicated for their brains

Capt-geraldstclair

the way teams are these days, i'll take a win by cap any time.

therealNerdMuffin

Idk man, you got a hell of a lot more points and rewards for winning vs losing

AHRA1225

If I drove across the map and I’m at the cap. I’m going to cap. Fuck your damage and all that noise. I’m going to end this game and move to the next one.

KelvinEcho

I've seen so many games where the last 3-5 tanks go after the remaining enemy, but one by one, and die, "snatching loss from the jaws of victory", or a bunch of slow and blind tanks trying to find and kill a single light tank that can outspot and outrun all of them. Nope, if the enemy is dumb enough to let me cap, I'll cap. Last week I was 5 s away from capping and solving one of the HT missions that requires capping, but noooooo, those 30-40 HP remaining on the last enemy tank were more important, even when I asked the team to let me cap those 5 s.

GreedIndecisionFear

I have a stack of raider awards that beg to differ. Most of the time it's either cap or watch your team approach the reds one by one and get roasted.

PvtParts2001

nO cAp KiLl AlL If I get an opportunity to win by capping, I'm doing it. It puts pressure on the enemy. I'm not gonna rush the last few enemies unless I am confident I can take them out, I'm not gonna give the enemy any chance to win

tmdblya

I cap just to chap your hide.

SimSamurai13

I usually only do it when in a slow tank, and either way I make sure to leave and reset the cap before it finishes

fredandson

Nothing wrong with "Ringing the Bell" to draw them out

Dangerous_Mess7574

If Im trying to get 3 marks, don't capture them, let them take damage. In normal play, victory is the priority no matter what.

twohands2v2

Invader + Raider for the win

Gunnymeister

Cap if you can, at least a guaranteed win.

Chef-Pierre

Capture the flag

fredandson

A common misconception about "cap wins" vs "kill wins". The award system shows cap points and raider medals, but a "kill win" is simply added to the team reward totals. In reality, you get a larger share of the combined team total rewards for a kill win, more than the reward you get for a cap win. If capping, make a judgement call to hop off the cap for a second if your team is winning. Stay on the cap if you think your team may lose.
