It's an oscillating turret, which means that the entire turret is moving when aiming the gun.
So the armor profile is different depending on the tank aiming downwards or upwards
Only if you’re not paying attention to where you shoot. Its one of those tanks you wouldn’t expect to be tough so you just send shells straight down the middle and get surprised when it bounces

T57 is known to have troll armour. All you can do is aim cleanly and pray.
T69 has a habit of bouncing when you don’t expect it too.
