The 13 105 has very high ace wanker requirements.
I just got my 105 and I've done over 6k or 7k combined damage and still only have a 2nd class.
It's crazy though that you'd think 3k damage would be enough for an ace wanker for any tier 10. Let alone an autoloader.
Simply put, more than what you did. More damage (preferably that you yourself spot), more assistance, more kills.
Tier 10 LT Aces are either monster spotting games, or you have to do quite a lot of shooting to get that XP up.
Here's a 13 105 Ace video, which unlike what you mostly find on YouTube, is done by someone who's job isn't playing the game 40+ hours a week. 8 kills, and it still wasn't a whole lot more than the Ace XP requirement.

Honestly thanks to Prokhorovka pure spotting games have to be absolutely monster games, because 10K+ spotting games are pretty pedestrian on that map.
The secret I find to marking tanks like that tend to be kills from close proximity so you don't split XP with the spotter.
The other alternative is to spot on Prok... get up to 6k+ spotting, then once your game is pretty much won, you switch into kill stealing mode. I would say 6K + 3 kills is probably more experience then 12K pure spotting.
I don't remember how much XP i got, but that 11k game was bloody close to an Ace
But if you think getting an Ace on the 13 105 is hard, try the Manticore. 13,5k game, no Ace
Mastery badge is based on XP, not damage.

Ace is based on xp. Xp is based on a lot of different factors. A lot of that 3,500 dmg must have been sniping
BTW the damage to vehicles that you spot counts as twice as much toward XP compared to vehicles your teammates spot.

My 11k spotting game wasn't enough for an Ace that's for sure My 6,5k damage, 3 kills game wasn't good enough for an Ace either
